Not the point. It was his idea to be buried head-first in the sand. He made a mistake the moment he thought *that* was a cool idea. I'm not saying it's completely the kid's fault. There's lots of people at fault here. The kid for having the ridiculous idea, and the friends for actually agreeing to do it. This case will go nowhere. Naruto is a widely watched show both in Japan and North America. It's been airing for years, and this is the first death case I've seen that mentions Naruto. It's not gonna fly. The Matrix has been blamed repeatedly for lots of violence, both domestic and not--and it's common knowledge how far those law suits went. The kid didn't deserve to die, no, but he sure was an idiot.
... What is UofT doing to you, Quitasol.
He's too busy uploading videos on YouTube. Lulz. I swear, I see several new vids uploaded every day.
It's David Seaman during his days goalkeeping for Arsenal.
Well, a lot of it is wishful thinking; lots of people who picked mains months before release were simply doing so because it helped hype them up for the game's release--sort of like setting goals for themselves before the game even came out. It's like an outlet for their anticipation. But I know lots of people who ended up changing their minds once they started playing it. Whether or not people have an issue of not following through on what they said they would do is one thing, but personally, I admit to originally wanting o main Pit, but as of now, I feel completely neutral about him. I use him just as much as I do other characters I never even considered before like Dedede. Realistically speaking, I'm sure many people will change their mains if the character they thought they wanted to main ended up not being how they imagined. And other times, some people will pursue their favourite characters regardless of how crappy they might be at them. Seriously, the number of times I've heard the reason for maining Ike simply because "he's [my] favourite Fire Emblem character, and I love Fire Emblem."
Too arbitrary at this point to make, if you ask me. Most language forums are made because there was an immediate need for one in order for the forum community to function properly. I don't believe that to be the case with KHV. Besides, many people on this forum have enough problems already using proper English; don't bite off more than you can chew, I'd say.
Haha. In the end, Cruel Brawl just boils down to some sort of repetition of the same move thats effective for the fight. For example, with Kirby it's just spamming the ledge recovery with Up+B. =X There's a video on youtube showing a guy getting 49 kills with it in Cruel Brawl, lol.
Teh lulz. You never actually told me your main. I can only assume it's either Zamus or Lucas.
I don't click with Sonic. Haha, I've tried him several times when I only had the JP version, and I dunno, he just doesn't suit me. He's fun to try out for kicks at times, however. I'm sure there are many people who planned to main Sonic the moment he was announced on the Dojo.
Got it all fixed. Brawl code: 2793-0304-6539 I'm also running the LAN adapter, so I'm using wired high speed for the WiFi. Just a fyi.
I'd say it's still too early to establish a tier list of any real accuracy. Melee's went through several (one of the earlier ones had Luigi way up in the tier list). It'll be a few months before any feasible tier list is made in my opinion. As for the spike, my guess is that the criteria for it to work is far more specific than it was in melee, not to mention Marth's Falchion range is a lot shorter than it was in Melee. That being said, both Marth's position and promixity in relation to the enemy is different. I have seen the spike done when the enemy is at Marth's height, so it's not exclusive that Marth be above the enemy when he uses it.
The spike is still there, and it's still the tip. The timing is just a hell of a lot different. lol. I'll put up my Brawl code up tomorrow, hopefully. I've just been consulted that my modchip firmware has a bug that's preventing the Wii from reading the original US brawl disc (which I picked up today). So I'll be bringing in the Wii to have the chip removed tomorrow afternoon. Will update my sig with my Brawl code after that.
Teh omgz, 1 day, 3 hours EST until March 9. I'll be sure to put up my Brawl code in my sig come Sunday. I went to my local EB yesterday to get COD4 and asked about the Brawl preorders. On schedule, they'll be coming in Friday and more importantly, I've been reassured that the shipment they're getting is enough to cover all the preorders that were made there. So that's a relief. Shall be fun (maybe) to have to unlock everything all over again. XD
...
Which would definitively mean you get paid to speed run video games. Oh dear.
Totally need to fix that. I actually laughed when I read it.
Likewise. I went through the trouble to get my hands on the JP Brawl, even though NA was a month away. If anything, you EU people have more justification for getting the NA version since there's yet to be a release date announced for you, and not to mention the game'll be in English anyway. I'd totally do what you're doing if I lived in Europe. The PAL market would totally not have my business in gaming.
Well, it certainly is recent like you said. It seems Datel really was up to something. Seems promising, I'll have to wait for some reviews before I consider buying it--since being a NA consumer, there isn't any need for me to rush at the moment--but it certainly seems like a godsend for the UK right now.
