I believe that I can add my name to this since i'm reading a ton of Blake, Whitman, Faulkner and Eliot this semester. The thing that i've found out so far from reading a selection of Blake and Whitman is that they both are heavy on Experimentalism when it comes to writing poetry which today is considered revolutionary but back in the 1850's with Whitman it was deemed that his writing was turning the classical into romanticisms which the die-hard didn't want change.

True Blood is one of my favorite shows currently. It's like a grown up version of Twilight, only better and they stick to the canon of vampires....they don't glisten. Very diverse eclectic group of individuals and circumstances and mythos has made for a very compelling two seasons and i can't wait to see how this season ends. Favorite character: Andy.

Ted Kennedy was an amazing politician and we were offered a glimpse at what could have happened if both JFK and Robert Kennedy were combined into the same individual. Ted learned from the best, and strived to be himself while also emulating his brothers. I feel that Dem's are going to push health care now more than ever because not only that he was lobbying for it, but because he is one of the last (or is he the last?) Kennedy alive within politics. The Kennedy brothers have been so influential that I think this push can also be seen as a tribute to Ted. Is it wrong to use an image of someone with this much respect to get a bill past, yes and no.
