Wit can be eluding sometimes, fear not. c: I'm going home for the weekend tomorrow. :=D: I've been at university for 11 days, and I'm more homesick than I'd care to admit.
I was 8 years old, in third grade. It was just as the school day was beginning. The teachers didn't tell the kids what had happened, but I'm pretty sure the principal/office staff informed the teachers what happened. Being from Canada and being quite young children, we'd probably be like "the World Trade Center? What's that?" if they told us at school anyway. My mum explained what happened to my sis and I after school. Much later I remember her saying that she phoned my dad at work and told him when she saw it (she was a stay-at-home mom at that point and watched the news as it happened). It was over half of my life ago. It's kind of weird to think about.
