So we have been wanting to get new active members, eh? So I was thinking of what got me to sign up for this crazy website in the first place. Cause despite all the drama, heartache, and tears on most nights, I'm still around. Soooo... what got me to actually sign up?

    Polls.

    Random Polls.

It could have been KH related, it could have been movies, politics, random, music, and so forth... But I remember polls always being on the home page of the forum. And after about six months of downloading and watching KH videos and coming back for more, the polls started to catch my eye. But in order to vote on it, I had to SIGN UP FOR KHVs.

And thus began my crazy journey here.

Maybe we can bring back forum polls again to the home page? If I remember, the old set up also had polls hanging out in a window on the side where the titles of the threads were. I know this is a lot of coding work to be put in for it, but yeah. Maybe it could help attract people who will be active in the forum?

Nothing was ever easy on this journey. Aria placed her hand over her heart as Qamar charged into battle. "Give me strength, Master Choma..." She was going to need all the help she could get. She knew she wasn't quite herself in this place, and every ounce of help would be appreciated. She felt flow of strength radiate through her and then raised her keyblade high in the air, sending her Rainbow Glow over everyone as well as a spell. "Cura!" A radiating green light washed over herself and Illiana. Between herself and the other two girls (not counting Master Thallasa), Illiana looked worse for the wear more so than Qamar. And although Aria was doing better than the two of them, she knew she couldn't afford to be down. Not with how the previous fight went.

She was going to risk it, but they needed to clear the way as fast as they could. She collected her composure and cast
Watera as well on herself and then charged into battle. One thug, two thugs, three thugs. That was all she could manage to do. There were many of them, but they had to get through this. Hen Wen was out there, and she needed Taran. They had to get out of here and reunite everyone once more somehow.

    HP: 58/95 [+15 from Cura]
    AP: 8/(78) [+10 from Watera, +20 From D Link]

Spells Cast: Cura (on herself and Illiana), Watera (on herself)

    Renegades

Lydia was shuffled with the rest of the prisoners. They were all interesting characters, but she couldn't get a good peak of them from being in line and chained around her neck. This situation didn't bother Lydia so much as she thought it would have. She had been in tough spots before, and while this one was unique, she kept her head held high. She half-paid attention to the warden, holding back from rolling her eyes at his toughness. It just reminded her of some of the unsavory folks back home, especially with his accent. One of the prisoners was making some smart aleck remarks. She raised one eyebrow with piqued and a slight smirk, wondering how long he was going to keep that mouth running with the situation he was in. She went back to seriousness when the warden continued his verdict. The serum didn't sound like a fun thing to have, and neither did the shock collars. She was used to holding her own, so being in a unisex holding place didn't phase her one bit. 'Well Pa, it's gonna be tough. But your little girl's strong.'

As soon as that fine speech was over, everything of hers was stripped away from her and replaced with an ugly prison outfit. She wanted to hold onto a rustic looking compass, but of course that was confiscated. With the "muzzle" securely fastened on, Lydia was shoved in the mess hall by a guard. She stumbled and caught herself before she tumbled on the floor.
"Hey, hey! I'm walkin'!" The fiery ginger mumbled under her breath as she turned away from the guard, getting a look at her surroundings. While her crimes weren't necessarily heinous and they were dramatized to the extreme, she knew that wasn't the case with everyone else around here. She was going to have to be careful with who she talked to and how she conducted herself. If being on the move taught her anything, it was to adapt quickly to your environment.

Lydia found a table and sat down on the bench with her back to it, resting her arms out on either side of her and crossing one leg over the other. A breath of air escaped from her lips and she looked up, seeing how big this place really was.

"So. What are you in for?"

The girl was pulled out of her thoughts from a voice to the right of her. Her eyes landed on a fascinating looking alien and she smiled. "Shootin' an apple off of some pompous' head," she said in a light, western accent. "Apparently it wasn't a shootin' contest after all." She didn't feel like going into full details, not yet anyways. She nodded her head as a sort of greeting to the lady, and then sat up. "Whatcha in for?" Lydia asked as she pulled at the collar on her own neck. This thing was going to get old fast...

    Hiya~! Thanks for stopping by.

Long story short, I started to pick up drawing again because I really needed the outlet from my mundane life. I'm not the greatest, I get that. But I'll take the criticism. I know I'll only get better that way, and with practice too.

    And so here we go~

    Tea Time! Sora and Riku
So to get back into the groove since it's been about... five years since I consistently drew everyday? Give or take. I went on Pintrest and found some references to draw from. There was a lot on there surprisingly! Anyways, I decided to try from this one:

And then the idea came to me to draw Sora in a Neverland type sequence? Then I remembered that there was a short teaparty scene at the end of Dream Drop Distance, and so I drew Sora in that getup and then I decided that Riku got dragged along for the show. He just went along with it in the end. xD

Aria is a character of mine from @Arch 's Roleplay called the Light Chaser. She's a Princess of Heart, loves rainbow and color, and is super friendly. @Marushi helped me with basics of what I had in mind which I use as my banner in the RP. This is a pose I wanted to try.

Aaaaaaand after trying to color with color pencils and then scanning it... and the pictures coming out this way... welp. I'm gonna take the time next time to try to color on the computer on GIMP.

"Good to see you too," Aria said with a snort and a roll of her eyes as she placed her hand on her hip. The comment was all in good fun since she still had a smile on her lips. Illiana was never going to change, and that was gonna be that. She followed along with Master Thallasa, figuring that the news of Glyde's demise should be saved when they were mostly out of harm's way.

"Alright then." Master Midarah knew better than anyone else that her guild mates were not being completely honest with her, but she couldn't expect them to sit back and wait patiently to be fully recovered. The Master had her own anxieties at well that couldn't be put to rest so easily. As much as she tried to give the Magic Council some credit for when they do intervene, she didn't trust them to give mercy at those who seemed to upset the balance of the magic folk and those who did not have any. Thea, and even two others, were lucky enough that they were not destroyed or imprisoned.

The young woman stood up from Thea's bed while cradling Artemis carefully in her arms.
"Meet me downstairs in about fifteen minutes. We will head off to Era as soon as possible..." Era was where the headquarters of the Magic Council was at, and about an hour and a half journey from the Divine Rose Guildhall in Elinpyre. She smiled a little at the two and rubbed Artemis' head. "You've become so much more stronger... I'll see you in a bit." With that, Master Midarah walked out of the Healing Room and headed to the place where they kept the carriages as the magic cars.

On the way there, she ran into Gavin and smiled warmly.
"Gavin, so nice to see you." She turned her head back to where she had come and then to the boy. "Your friends want to head to the Magic Council to try to appeal for the release of those who were taken into custody. They will meet me downstairs in about fifteen minutes. I'm sure they will want you to go with them. The more people that can stand up for them, the better... But you do not have to go if you don't want to. Please excuse me, I have to prepare our transportation." With that she nodded to him and then head off to continue her preparations.

Delivery of Cakes- Shawn, Yukyo, Lakoda

The maid chuckled and blushed slightly. "My, what charm you have. You may call me Vestele. Come, Lady Erin is waiting for us this way." And with that, the maid began to lead the group through the mansion.

Lakoda nodded in agreement to Yukyo's statement and then looked left and right of the mansion. The last time she set foot in a fancy place was at Conrad's own house. It amazed her
every time how people could live like this. She was used to traveling on the road all the time and having very little luxury such as this.
The group was soon lead to a fancy looking living room all set up and decorated for a baby shower. There were women of all shapes and sizes in fancy clothing, some holding fans while others had large hats, giggling and talking amongst themselves as soft piano music played in the background. There were a pile of gifts stacked neatly in one corner of the room, and a lady in a red dress who was heavily pregnant, sitting in comfy chair by the gifts. Some ladies were speaking to her briefly, but other than that, she was focused on the room and the party. She held her head high, having a perfect poise yet her hand strayed to her enlarged stomach as she rubbed it gently.

Vestele led the group right to the woman sitting in the chair, bowing lowly. "Lady Erin, these are the mages you have asked for."

Lady Erin smiled and nodded her head to the group. "Welcome to my home. Please forgive me for not standing up to greet you. I'm really supposed to be on bed rest right now, but I couldn't take another day being cooped up." She nervously chuckled while placing a hand on her stomach. "I wanted to thank you for bringing the wonderful treats. I hope it wasn't too much trouble. Madam Madeleine is a dear friend of mine and it means so much to me someone would help her deliver her goods to me. Even if they seem like they're just baked goods you can get any other day..."

Lakoda smiled politely and then remembered something. She turned to the boys, her charm sounding off while lighting up. "Yukyo, Shawn... we were supposed to give her a message when we delivered the cakes."

The woman of the house lifted an eyebrow. "Oh? What message?"

Village in Peril- Conrad, Everette, Samuel

The chief had answered the door when Everette knocked. He was already looking better himself with the rash gradually disappearing. Though the antidote wouldn't help with the dark circles under his eyes. "Of course... I cannot thank you enough for helping us. This village will forever be in your debt... Your friend Conrad is already here. He's in with Renza right now," the chief gestured to the curtains where soft voices were filtering through.

"I feel better already," Renza answered Conrad honestly as she smiled at him. She then shuddered as the after taste got a hold of her taste buds. "The taste was bad, but I'm better." She grinned from ear to ear and then sat up a little more in bed when she heard Everette's voice. "You all came to see me?" she asked Conrad with big, shining eyes. She hadn't felt this special in a long time and felt she had gotten close to the boys in the short time they spent together.

Aria followed along with the others, seeing that Illiana and Taran were alright. It seemed as if they had someone else with them as well. Aria felt more at ease seeing familiar faces and that sinking feeling dissipated. "We were really worried about you," she chimed in as she approached them to make sure they were indeed okay. "You found a new friend," she gestured to Eilonwy. "We did too." She nodded her head over to the bard. "This is Fflam. Fflam, this is Taran and Illiana. I'm Aria by the way," the princess of heart introduced herself to the new girl. "And this is Qamar and Master Thallasa." Her attention then turned back to the rest of the group. "We were trying to find you guys without being spotted by the guards or whoever else is in this castle. Speaking of which, we should probably get going. I don't like this place at all."

And on the world went. Aria knew it couldn't be helped though. There were people still alive and who needed aid. She watched how her uncle dealt with grief while she was growing up on the farm. He replaced it with love and hard work, still keeping the memory close of the child he almost had, but also not letting it bog him down day in and day out. Although child loss was much different from a death of a friend or a comrade it was still a terrible pain to bear.

Aria looked up to the sky while holding Glyde's cloak close to her, remembering the conversations she had with her uncle, and recently Take, about the ones who die still living on. It hurt, but she had to keep moving forward.

She looked to the castle, seeing how they had to go back in to that dreary place. People depended on them though, and Aria was trusted to come along on this journey. She placed Glyde's cloak in her magical bag carefully, and then glanced to Qamar.
"Onward we go," she said with a small smile. "Thank you, by the way..." She then followed after Fflam, trying to keep her thoughts focused on the positives to get through this quest.

“That’s three,” Aria finally spoke in a hoarse whisper against Qamar’s shoulder. The tears rolled freely down and her throat tightened with grief. It hadn’t even been a full week and they already lost three of their own. “It’s not fair... why do we keep losing our friends like this?” She didn’t know Qamar’s friend, but he seemed nice and tried his best to make everyone feel welcomed. Mika was the first one to die, and that one hit her the hardest. Now it was Glyde, and so many things were left unfinished between them. They didn’t really get a chance to talk much, but Aria figured they could have gotten along once they came to know one another. Now she wouldn’t get that chance.

Aria’s shoulders shook as she cried without much noise, finally making herself hug Qamar to find some relief from this pain she was feeling. She didn’t expect anyone to actually die on this quest to restore balance, but it was becoming apparent their very mortality was at risk. Her own life was almost lost at least twice now, which she was grateful the Council hadn’t pulled the plug on her quest yet and forced her to go back after Quietus.

The girl sniffed and finally let go of Qamar to sit back on her heels. She looked up to her friend and then took the tissue in her hands, rubbing at her eyes.
“Thank you,” she mumbled. The tears had been a combination of grief from the loss of another friend, and the frustration of the new weight on her shoulders. Everything had been turned upside down for her in a manner of days, and she had pushed down her feelings to carry on. They needed her to be strong; she was one of the seven. She couldn’t afford to be weak and helpless.

After drying her eyes, Aria took in a deep breath and forced herself to stand up again. She reached down to take Glyde’s his tattered cloak in her hands as the keyblade vanished from sight. They didn’t have time to grieve or to process.
“Should someone go back to find Illiana and Taran...?” She asked meekly.

Aria held back a heavy sigh as she followed after Master Thallasa. Perhaps it was the scenery of this place that was causing her to be a little less cheery mixed with the situation at hand. Whatever it was, she was with Fflam in a way; she wanted to leave this place as soon as possible. It was reminding her a little too much of her nightmares...

It was then they stopped at the entrance and then she saw it. Glyde's keyblade on the ground along with little flickers of light floating up to the sky. The girl's eyes widened at the sight, and her words echoed with Master Thallasa's internally. Aria unsummoned her own weapon and moved forward, staring down at the keyblade and the cloak. She felt the familiar pit of despair deep within her and hardly noticed she crouched down. She didn't exactly get along with him, but he was still one of them. And to just see his things here with no owner...

Aria's shaky hand reached out and touched the keyblade lightly. Tears swelled in her eyes as she felt the coldness of the weapon.
"H-He's gone... isn't he...?" she asked, looking to their new master. She could feel her heart and throat knotting up with sadness and regret. They shouldn't have left him out here on his own. But what if there was a possibility he was still alive? Could there be? There was that sliver of hope, but Aria knew better than that by now.

Hearing that he could already be dead made Aria's gut lurch. There had been at least two deaths she had known about, both of them she hadn't seen. She had to witness the after effects of them though in one way or another without much closure. She glanced down at her charm bracelet briefly, suddenly feeling her eyes sting with suppressed emotions. The only time she really let out her grief was back on the space pirate ship with Take. After that, she had to trudge on like nothing happened. And now with a third death on the horizon... it made her blood cold just thinking about it. Qamar was right; all they had left to bury were memories. And with Glyde, she didn't really get to know the guy. All she remembered was standing up for herself to him over something petty that probably could have been brushed off.

Aria sighed with a shudder and then looked to the rocky path along the castle walls.
"I guess... this is our best option to get to where we need to go. Unless we want to go through that maze again..." Although she was making valid suggestions and looking like she was thinking clearly, Aria's usual usual optimism seemed force. Her cheerfulness was hanging on a thread at this point, not having much time to recover from nearly dying and finding out she had a monster inside her head trying to actively kill her every time she closed her eyes now.

Master Midarah frowned slightly when Thea was explaining her side of the story. From what was told to her, she pieced together that this mission could have gone more deadly if the ones who worked against the mayor didn't help her guild-mates out. She reached over to Thea and placed a hand on her shoulder, smiling a little. "Then I will help you help them... As soon as you both are well enough to travel, we'll give the Council a surprise visit. Gavin can come with us too if he wishes," Midarah said as she looked to Storm.

Delivery of Cakes- Shawn, Yukyo, Lakoda

Lakoda slumped against the wall of the wagon, sighing out in relief. “I’m alright... that was a hassle...” She couldn’t believe how determined they were to get to a bunch of cakes and cookies... for a baby shower nonetheless! She glanced over at the box, wondering about the mark she saw and why they were so adamant about grabbing the goods. She opened one eye and looked at Yukyo. Don’t give them too much of a hard time, she said with a smile.

    ~Short Time Skippage-

It wasn’t long before they arrived at Raven Star manor. The small group got the dark mages off their trail for good, and the rest of the short journey was peaceful enough. Soon they arrived at the tall, Victorian era iron gates, which opened for them as soon as they showed their guild marks and announced their state of business.

They pulled around to a majestic building and were then guided to the near back where the kitchens was, and then the servants began to unload the goods. Lakoda felt immense relief once the goods were taken off their hands.

A servant approached the three, tired mages with a polite smile and a curtsy. "Thank you so much for delivering these goods on time. Lady Erin would like to thank you personally if you have the time. Would you like to speak with her?"

"You found out what's been poisoning everyone?" Renza asked weakly. She then smiled a little and rested her head back on the pillow. "I knew you guys could do it..." She looked to the vial that was being held out to her and meekly made an effort to try to take it but her hands trembled. "Can you help...?" she asked sheepishly. Which in turn, Conrad didn't hesitate and brought the small container of glass to Renza's lips. She swallowed it down, making a face at the taste and curling her toes. "Ugh... that's almost as bad as beansprouts..." She gagged a bit and then relaxed against the fluffy bed. It almost seemed like magic when Renza's cheeks were already returning back to a healthy rosy color and the ragged breathing was becoming clear. The girl looked to Conrad, spying the duck feather necklace around his neck. "You still have it."

Samuel nodded his head and grunted as he stood up, stretching out and rolling his shoulders before reaching a hand out to his friend to help him to his feet. "Let's go say good-bye... It was a fun adventure, but I'm done... I have some energy potions if you're struggling like I am. It might keep us awake and functional for the journey home anyways."

Renza groaned in her half-sleep, being awaken by Conrad's nudging. Her head turned to the sound of the voice before her eyelids began to flutter open. Her eyes seemed to be out of focus for a bit and she peered closely at Conrad, staying silent for a moment. She thought it was someone else for a moment, but her vision shifted and she saw who it really was. "Conrad..." Her voice cracked and sounded exhausted, but she still gave the biggest smile she could. "You did come back..." She tried to sit up but found she couldn't and relaxed back on the bed, taking in shallow, raspy long breaths to settle down. "I missed you," she finally was able to manage to say, wincing from the aches and pains in her body.

Aria appreciated Qamar trying to help her out and nodded to her when she spoke to her. It was a relief when they finally made it out though, only to be faced to face with a cliff going straight down. It was then a voice spoke up which caught Aria off guard and she summoned her keyblade, dropping down to a defense stance with Master Thallasa and Qamar. She saw the man standing there, and speaking with a sort of charm that kind of put Aria off. The more he talked, the more she was having flashbacks of the conversations she had with the Light Chaser. He was nice, he gave her more than one reason to trust her, but she knew better and it turned out he told her many lies within the truth.

She heard Qamar's comment and looked over at her before glancing back at the man. She didn't know how to tell Master Thallasa or Qamar about her own suspicions, but she decided to be a little bold and held her ground.
"You asked us if we were looking for someone, and you have our friend's communicator. Glyde is anything but careless. I think you know something we don't, because all you could have known is that we were lost. Besides, we don't have a reason to trust you except on your word alone. I don't know about these guys, but I know I'm gonna need more than words to per-sway me to believe you."
