Then go to Rite Aid for the brace, an see if they have some of those snap-to-activate ice packs. You really need to support your ankle and ice it, and get off of it so the swelling will go down. Otherwise you'll make it worse. And please, please, please make an effort to see a doctor. I fell in the sixth grade and thought I sprained my ankle, but when the swelling didn't go down the next day after R.I.C.E-ing it (that's Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation for you non-med folks) I went in and had it x-rayed. Turns out it was Spoiler: squicky stuff a small fracture, I had shaved off a piece of non-moving bone after falling. I was in an air-cast for three weeks, on crutches for at least one.
^7/10. 9/10 if that van is filled with Sour Patch Kids. I need a fix. You need a math tutor? I can add a bed, subtract your clothes, divide your legs, and multiply.
Doesn't bother me unless it's excessive. Sometimes it helps me see the point the singer's trying to make, I can tell just how "upset", I guess, they are, if the F-bomb flies during a rather emotionally charged lyric. I guess it's all about placement to me.
Oh for goodness sake. Even if he scuttles away from this, it's not going to change anything. This all seems pointless. And we already know he was a hoodlum. He was kicked out of one of my local movie theaters for sitting in a 21+ section and refusing to move.
I'm sorry, but if your friends are trying to bring you down emotionally like that, they're not really friends. I've learned that the hard way. You're probably going to be better off if you start hanging around them less, especially if they are already making such poor choices at such a young age. Now, as far as making new friends, best thing I can suggest is finding clubs that match your interests. Check your library; oftentimes you can find notices posted by clubs looking for more members. Find a few you like, attend a meeting or two, get acquainted. Don't see a club there, or at school? Start one. Get some help from a teacher or counselor, round up some people to help you, and get a club started. You'd be surprised how many would come out of the wood work once they find a niche.
Congrats on all the things!
At the moment, mine are Stephen King, Nora Roberts, J.D Robb (aka Nora Robert), Robin Cook, and James Patterson.
1. Harley Quinn - The story's just brilliant, you can almost feel just how much the two meant to each other, right up until Mint's last day. And the artwork helps me see just how important they were to one another, what they truly meant to each other. I'm also curious as to the medium used, it looks so lovely (and I'd love to try it myself sometime). 2. phoenixkh93 - I love the colors in this. Realtha's story got my attention, and if you ever get around to writing it I'd love to read it. I like the world you've created for her, I'd love to learn more about it. 3. Love- Watercolor's a very tricky thing to use, but it looks like you've got a great hold on it. The only thing I wish you did was find a better way to upload your painting, it's so pretty but the scan doesn't seem to do it much justice. Which is a shame, because it's absolutely stunning.
Put me (Nashida) down for Eastern. I'll post again in two months when I relocate to China and figure out what timezone Hangzhou is in.
I melted at the 3 year old girl and the tiger bread.
You know, you never did say what dinner was....I have had the worst craving for a good steak lately....
I'm like Leblonk. I don't fear death itself, I do think about it often, wondering what will happen and what not. What scares me is how I will die. Am I going to go down on a plane into the ocean? A fiery car crash? Spiked blood sugar coma in my sleep? That unknown bit...that's what really scares me.
Yes, that's right. I can't wait to get a chance to take it for a spin. I should dig out my older decks too, maybe tweak them a bit this weekend.
That sounds absolutely...divine.
I dunno. I thought somebody there would be so ronery, so sad there was no one to share their love for all things nerdy and late night basement gaming sessions with nothing as sustenance except for cheesy puff snacks and god's dew.
Hmmm...do I chance going to prom, surrounded by sweating strangers with the chance to get past third base with someone hot? Or do I go to con, surrounded by sweating strangers with the chance to get past third base with someone hot, and nerdy like me?
Yay, that makes 2 people who like it. :3
I just noticed this tonight. I guess I really am one hell of a butler. /prolly gonna get in trouble for this, but I still found it funny. Plus I had too much caffeine and it's late.
That's right. They were Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, and a couple others, and they all centered around one big boss who could be deadly if all...
I just bought a starter deck based off of the planets using primarily fairy monsters (the name escapes me at the moment), but my favorite has to...
