actually vista lets you choose safe mode when it kicks off on its own. im running the quick virus scan first without safe mode to see if i find anything. i was gonna try with safe mode if i didn't find anything. but it takes longer, so i was saving it for last... i'll post what i find. i'll edit it into my first post. BUMP! i tried to scan it unsuccessfully. it wont tell me there is a virus. only that my computer is messed up. i wouldnt be quite as worried if my computer wasnt only 5 weeks old...
i made it with the grey bg in mind lol and next thing i know the wite is white >.> i still think we should be able to choose the v.2 in the drop box...
yeah v.2 was darker than this. this just has less color...
i like it a lot, i missed the grey skin from back when i joined forever ago. this will definately be the one i use from now on. and besides i hated the blue/white ones...
it keeps randomly shutting off. it flashes some error message with a blue background, but its gone before i can read the problem. anybody know if this is indeed from a virus and/or if i can fix it so i can use my computer again? EDIT: i tried to scan in safe mode and it wouldnt let me. i do have some pics of wat it was telling me though. and also when im not in safe mode, i keep getting the fatal error message soon after i log on...
