@sora6645 I know I need a clean iso it is in the folder with the patcher and the patch but your patch looks for the files open in the folder posted above with the iso
Instead of looking for it in the same folder it is in hard coded location is my guess

You need to fix this first I do not want to move every thing into that folder with good reason

Yes I will get around to it sooner or later been busy RL stuff but when I have time in a few days I will test some of it but what is working AFAUK and what assets work would be nice to know before I make ISO

Not sure what they all are now been 6 months ago since tried it and since new game gave such a bug stopped checking

Most of the bugs were reported some pages ago

Their is a lot of bug for the PS2 and all my testing is was done on the PS2 with OPL and tried a burn using ESR and it will not even load with that

I think a lot of the hacks are outside of the PS2 capability if no one is testing the hacks for real system then that can easily happen

Well the very first problem you can not even start a new game it will lock up at the very beginning and their in the last 25 pages of this post have more besides that lockup with latest elf mod

Be better if you take your time and do it right then hurry it along
I will wait it out myself and post the new KH2FM link as well and some changes compared to what is out already would be nice :)

Why would they not lie is a better ?
They did have to recode it for PS3 and mod it with KH2 controls
But you should know by now that SE has done it before and will do it again to make sales with people who do not know better

This is a know problem this patch with the elf will not work with new game on an official PS2

It has been awhile but they said they would fix it but so far not done so not your ESR disc causing it

No hurry we waited this long since it came out can wait awhile longer ;)

I would like complete elf without wide and only English hacks in place that give the proper new game start without lockup

Not sure but you may be right about patcher with your OS

FYI if you try the easiest setting you will notice you do not start with the bonus stuff something on the new game is broken for hardness levels

I just started of official elf an new ISO on the emu it has same problem on easy you do not get the extra stuff and have no equipped stuff something in the elf has been broken for new game emu will get threw the lockup but PS2 will not

So a fresh elf with lang hacks should be upped and even my elf has the problem because it is based on the one most recent

also the equipment is normal to hard nothing equipped

All wide of this type is removed from my elf

and as above stated it messes up font the matrix one's work fine for removing
I wonder if I put the the event back if maybe fix the problem with fonts :0

added a test elf for some with real PS2

This restores wide for EVT font fix and black border fix and is bookable with OPL can now read all text at least for beginning of game hopeful this fix works with Swap magic as well

No go both still lockup on new game for testing on OPL
Test this on your side or comparison to your elf

I would not mind testing the elf without wide in place and looks like some others would not if it makes OPL work with this patch
one without any wide to me would work best less likely to crash

I will tell you what is wrong the wide screen hacks use to much memory for PS2 on OPL my reverse hack of elf works just fine on it so far but has text overrun at top of screen with wide for text
I am looking to find all the elf wide hacks in place but still can not find that one

It would be real nice of one of the elf hackers up a version without wide in place for PS2 use but I could wish :)

Yes I know that the incomplete versions can cause problems and was reporting on the PS2 system what was happening ;)
Last one for now this is a game breaker on incomplete file in a Agrabah after defeating jafar and the carpet ride out it locks after a few sec ride

and during the fight with him has platform glitches I suspect either elf hack for glitches or patchier ;)

and I use the original ISO and all the above was fine

I remade the ISO without al files had a save before jafar it definitely is the trans causing lockup even thou the text was jibbe during cut scenes it got threw the fling tunnel
