I actually quite like this. I prefer the vertical layout over the horizontal one of the other collections. Maybe I'm just a sucker for seeing all the games in a single menu. Kinda wish they'd switch the order of 2 and 358/2 Days, so that everything would be in release order. But that's fine too.
Cool guy. Heard him on the Super Best Friendcast.
Think I got you. That's your Player ID right? Not Discord?
Thought I was scheduled for DDD stream, lol Rip. Ah well. I think I can join the 0.2 stream, either the 7 or 8 slot, whatever works for others. KINGDOM HEARTS 0.2: BIRTH BY SLEEP -A FRAGMENTARY PASSAGE- Username: Explode Discord ID: 5022 Timeslot: 8PM-9PM (or 7PM-8PM if better)

What is he?! No one's ever worn the bossiness the way he does, it's impossible!
They're releasing so close together, I doubt there'd be Japanese audio in the English version, and not the other way around too. The only thing I can think of that could be that size is a Day 1 patch being included in the initial file size for the international version. Ultimately, both versions would be roughly the same size, but the Japanese version wouldn't technically launch with that patch. That's what I hope at least. I would hate for the international version to be bloated with extra stuff that could cause it to run slower. That happened with 2.5, where the English text was slapped over the Japanese, so there was extra data, which some theorized caused temporary freezing and possibly slightly longer load times. Don't want to freak people out though, I think it's just the patch. Text data shouldn't make a full 1GB difference.
I believe this is what you're looking for
Nice to see you too, Amaury. It's such a shame, KHV used to be the ropes that bound us together.
And Merry Christmas to you Amaury Santacoot :P Fun fact, for years I would get a bunch of spam mail (physical letters)/solicitations addressed to...
Heads up, the 1.5 + 2.5 screenshots reveal nothing. Those are old promotional renders from when the games came out on PS3. They were not representative of the final product, and likely won't be now.
View attachment 45960 Hey there video editors! Got some more content for you to work with. This time around it's the Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded movie. With the PS4 versions of 1.5 + 2.5 coming out in a matter of months, I put a hold on recording KH2FM and BBSFM. But I went ahead and recorded this, since Re:Coded is pre-rendered and likely won't be getting any improvements on PS4 (though if it does, we will revisit it). The next few months are an exciting time for the Kingdom Hearts community, with 2.8 on the horizon, then 1.5 + 2.5 shortly after. We hope you'll stick with us for news updates, community events, and those sweet, sweet vids. Check out our Cutscene Archive for more. Thanks to @libregkd for keeping it nice and organized.
I tried to "half watch" this trailer to avoid spoilers (though I already caught some quick flashes which reveal some potentially big things). For those wanting to stay clean, you should avoid this trailer, because I can't imagine there's much else left of 0.2 that they haven't shown. Looks great. I won't be re-watching and analyzing this one though. We're a month and a half away from release, I can hold out :P That said I hope the other news is an early 1.5+2.5 trailer, so we can see what the damn thing looks like.
Good stuff man! Hope you're enjoying your new toy :)
It definitely depends on what game catalog you want to play. If you have a big collection of PS2 games, a PS3 won't do you any good unless it's a really old model that has PS2 backwards compatibility. They're extremely rare and expensive now (mine died out about three years ago, had to get replacement without PS2 disk compatibility). PS3 has a pretty decent selection of PS2 games available for digital download, though you'd have to re-buy those. I know you know this already, but I'm unsure what your goal is. At this point though, unless you want to play very obscure games, I think getting a PS4 Slim is your best bet. A brand new console for $300 is a great deal. Especially now that the entire Kingdom Hearts series will be available on it in less than five months. And if they continue adding classic PS2 games on there, then that's even better (I love me some War of the Monsters). It really is a shame that the games industry suffers from this problem. Having to jump through hoops like this, scouring ebay or wherever, is expensive, time-consuming, and a gamble. If you fancy yourself a collector that's another thing, but for the average person, especially if money is tight, there are more sensible ways. To be clear I'm not condoning piracy, but if the damn things aren't being made anymore, legal emulation is an excellent alternative. Again, depends on your circumstances and what games you actually want to play. You're the only one who can really decide. It's great that you still have your PS2 around, but nothing lasts forever. Not sure if you've made your purchase yet or not, but you should for sure research which PS2 games they have available on PS3/4 that you'd want. And also consider what games are coming out in the future that you might want. Obviously nothing is future proof, but I'm somewhat optimistic that the industry as a whole will be more mindful of maintaining compatibility into the future. With iterative consoles like the PS4 Pro and XB1 Scorpio, it's quite possible that old games won't become obsolete anymore, or at least not for a very long time. This console generation has been very successful, and I honestly think it's worth investing in. PS4 will likely be around for a very long time, and while PS3 is still a good choice, I think there are great benefits to being in sync with the current generation, especially if it's relatively inexpensive.
As per your request, I uploaded them to our YouTube channel :) 358/2 Days Re:Chain of Memories will be uploaded soon as well, in case you're interested.
No prob :)
Did you need help with anything, or are you just showing it? There's a huge number of Kingdom Hearts models, most of which are fully rigged, on this site: https://www.models-resource.com/playstation_2/K.html There are Birth by Sleep models in the PSP section as well.
