Unlike the Be a Man - Mulan, this one is purely singing. So all you have to do is just sing it. No special dialogue or whatever. Have fun, and remember: December 30th. ~Lyrics~ Everybody wants to be a cat, because a cat's the only cat who knows where it's at. Everybody's pickin' up on that feline beat, 'cause everything else is obsolete. Now a square with a horn, can make you wish you weren't born, ever'time he plays; and with a square in the act, he can set music back to the caveman days. I've heard some corny birds who tried to sing, but a cat's the only cat who knows how to swing. Who wants to dig a long-haired gig or stuff like that? When everybody wants to be a cat. A square with that horn, makes you wish you weren't born, ever'time he plays; and with a square in the act, you can set this music back to the caveman days. Everybody wants to be a cat, because a cat's the only cat who knows where it's at; while playin' jazz you always has a Welcome mat, 'cause everybody digs a swingin' cat.
The sound of the door to Mickey's house opened up, evoking D'daear's attention to shift away from Steel. It all happened so fast that he did not have time to react to the situation. The door opened up; probably bursting open considering who it was. Karina came through the door, and without even so much as giving the room a quick look, just waltzed up to Glen and spirited him away by force, removing his presence from the scene along with hers. The purple haired adolescent let eyelids squint a bit at the randomness that had unfolded. Cocking his head once more, he casually pointed towards the door with an index finger, finding it necessary to point out how harsh Karina seemed towards Glen. She had gripped the poor guy's collar, and yanked him out of the room. "Why does she have to be so rough?" he questioned out loud, playing the moment back in his head. Lips pursed to the side while he continued to stare off at the opened door. Karina HAD said something, and although it was rather abrupt; just like her entrance, D'daear had managed to hear what she had to say. He just had to recollect it off of his short term memory... "She DID say something, right?" the boy thought out loud. "Like...she FOUND something or somewhere along those lines?" he asked the open air. He was not to sure on it, but he assumed it could potentially have something to do with the strange Ink drawing on the wall... Honestly, a part of him didn't really care about any of that at the moment. He was just too bewildered by Karina's random appearance and disappearance to really care. What could she be up to that required only Glen's immediate attention?
"...face a great force of darkness? Wha-?" D'daear queried in confusion; perhaps interrupting any possible reply from Hikaru. Random words had grabbed the young key wielders attention, primarily because he had no idea why they were spoken in the first place. The words had nothing to do with the current situation that they ALL found themselves in. Turning to face the source of words, blue irises caught sight of Steel standing close by. A step was taken in the opposite direction as Steel's presence was acknowledged. It seemed the ink drawing was capturing attention; although that was to be expected as it was a clue that could point them into the right direction. "Oh hey, Steel-"he greeted. "What did you mean by letting you face a great force of darkness alone?" D'daear queried. Hands remained placed on hips, while he had been watching Steel; peripherals could not help but take notice of Steel's claws. Such a detail could not just go unnoticed. While peripherals kept D'daear aware of the claws, it drew in the boy's blue eyes to follow the cue. Head tilted slightly to the side, cocking as to give off a questioning stare. "You got something to say?" he asked, eyes jolting to look at Steel in the eyes. Head remained cocked, and a brow raised.
Wanting to keep the mind busy from uneasiness, the purple haired boy slowly made his way past Glen and towards the wall with the ink art displaying three full circles that intersected one another; almost looked like some weird emblem or crest. He stood a comfortable distance from Hikaru's form while he examined the ink. Arms intersected ones more as hands made their way underneath biceps. Irises stayed locked onto the piece of graffiti while legs began to tilt the boy's body towards it. "Why would there be a drawing on the wall, of all places..." he muttered loud enough. From what D'daear could tell, the graffiti was made up of the same substance that had littered Yen Sid's chambers back then, presumably. However, unlike the mess back in the Tower, this one was refined more or less. It was NOT a large stain of nothing. It had a two dimensional shape, a form...a purpose. At least that's what the boy was coming to understand. It could not have been coincidence that the ink would take up such a shape. "Hhhmmm..." D'daear reverberated. Eyelids pursed while pupils honed in on the subject. It was so strange for this mark to just be placed on a spot like this. Heck, had it not been for Hikaru's sudden knack for books, they may have never found the ink mark in question. It was a most peculiar scene indeed. Leaning back to proper standing position, D'daear lowered arms in order to place hands against Hips. "Hey Hikaru... Since you found it... you want to go ahead and touch it? Just to verify if it's the same type of ink we found in Yen Sid's tower... " he gestured coyly.
D'daear shut himself up when Glen began to argue in regards to Mickey's possible existence in this town. As it stood, no one had any idea whether Mickey was truly hiding out in this town. Glen was right about the fact that there was currently no concrete evidence that could tell them Mickey was here or at the very least passed through here. Crossing both arms in a subconscious manner to safe guard his emotions, the adolescent stood tight lipped while averting eyes to the floor. Glen had a proper argument, however D'daear could not help but want to correct him in stating that they would never know for sure if they just sat around Mickey's house doing nothing. Wanting to speak up, he was getting ready to make his rebuttal when Hikaru spoke up. Lips remained tightly shut; despite the urge to respond, while Glen advanced towards Hikaru, which in turn compelled D'daear to follow as well. When the purple haired boy arrived on site, eyes widened and breath got caught in lungs as the scenery spoke for itself...and for D'daear. As clear as a drawing, there was a inky picture of three black round shapes that merged together to form a sort of Trio of circles. No sooner had D'daear layed eyes upon the art, that Glen burst out in what seemed like frustration. To further emphasize the emotion Glen was feeling, D'daear watched as Glen knocked aside a fallen book with a kick. Uneasiness was summoned by Glen's kick as D'daear could not help tighten jaw while the atmosphere grew uncomfortable. "Man am I glad I didn't say anything..." the words found themselves in D'daear's head. With the contraption covered hand, he rubbed the back of that purple covered head in hopes it would ease the uncomfortable situation now plaguing him. Post Count: 1/10
This IS exciting news! I was so disappointed when the hidden Boss battle in Hollow Bastion had no actual voice. (Excluding the recycled clips of Sora's speech)

Having pocketed the picture, he turned towards everyone that was presently in the room: Hikaru, Merlin, Glen, and Steel. "So are we ready for departure- Oh?" the question came out, surprised to hear someone from behind. "What's a cornerstone of light?" a voice asked, curious. "I've never heard of it." When D'daear turned to see who it was, Aden had been standing behind him. The purple haired boy took a step back, having been oblivious to Aden's presence until now. It was a jump scare for the young boy, although there should be no reason for it. Eyes widened briefly and muscles tensed for a split second in fright. "OH! Heeeeey- youuuuu... Didn't...see you there. Heh..." he reacted in the moment, feeling a tad weird about the abruptness of Aden's presence. It was almost like he had snuck up on him; although maybe D'daear was just too caught up in his own thing to have realized Aden entered the room. A small sigh escaped D'daear in the midst of averting eyes. He disliked being surprised. Placing one hand on hips, he began moving the other in gesture as he informed Aden on the subject he had given question too. "Well, the cornerstone of light...it's this ancient relic. It's supposed to be powerful enough to keep the darkness away from whatever area it's placed in...like in the stories." he explained, assuming Aden had heard of the small children's Fairy tales. D'daear leaned towards the coffee table where the scrapbook was, and picked it off, pivoting with his one foot as he regained balance to stand on both feet. "Nobody in town seems to have seen him for weeks, but everyone loves him." Aden noted. Handing over the scrapbook to Aden, D'daear admitted to not having found interest in the Mouse's belongings until recently. He responded to Aden's last bit of words with extreme curiosity. Brows furrowed as eyes looked into space in thought. "That's weird... you'd think they would be concerned for Mickey at this point..." D'daear added. Who knew, maybe the denizens ARE worried, and that bit of information was just left out.
An Ornamental sword has more range than some guns, and ties with other guns? Just a heads up. How many items can we hold? (Inventory wise) What consumables do we start off with? Username: Hexin Time Zone: EST Character Name: Elijah Nunziato Alias (Optional): Eli Personality: Apathetic towards some things, but overall a decent individual. He can be kind to most people, regardless of their appearance. Although wary towards strangers, he can be a bit too trusting at times towards others; not naive. The kind of guy that tries to see the good in people, despite their outward appearance, or past. Before the outbreak, these were traits that helped him be such an affable guy. Gender: Male Short Bio: Before the outbreak, he was just an average teenager who lived with his parents while getting used to the college life. Brown layered hairstyle with light brown eyes. Standing at 5'9, he inherited the height from his mother; as his father was 6'3. Mother and father were white collar workers whom worked in the city of Gorge. He spent most of his leisure time playing first person shooter games, and survival online games. Aside from gaming, he spent time doing general studies; first year of college am I right? He was undecided in a major. When the epidemic hit, it was to his heart pounding shock. One late evening while he was asleep, he heard something peculiar in the house. The first thing that came to mind was a thief. Wanting to alert his parents, he snuck out of the room and towards their bedroom. However, getting closer to the room, he realized the noises that had awoken him were emanating from the master bedroom....his parents bedroom. Realizing this, his teenage mind could only come up with one thing: Husband and Wife intimacy. Feeling the close call of walking in on them, he headed back to his room and went to sleep. The next morning he awoke at the usual time to begin the morning ritual. Bathroom stuff, and then breakfast. When he exited the bathroom and went downstairs, he found no one. It was strange to him as he usually caught them at the end of their breakfast before leaving for work. Eyes scanned the kitchen, seeing nothing out of place. After eating his breakfast, he headed towards the stairs when he encountered it. Just as he was about to take the first step up, he noticed from the corner of his eyes a figure standing at the top of the stairs. When he looked up, there it was...staring down at him with these bloodthirsty eyes. Teeth were bared at him, tainted with red smudges that covered its entire face as well as well toned body. It began to scream at him, furrowing its brows like it had been wronged or something. So many things went through Elijah's mind in a matter of seconds. "M-mom!?" he exclaimed in horror. The sound of his voice seemed to push her off the edge as she descended down the stairs. From there, it was just a matter of who cops and robbers or whatever. The point is, he made it out of that situation alive. Now, he lives on. Things he can find he usually makes good use of them immediately. Travel light, right? He currently resides in the urban areas, ghosting it out. Along the way he's had his fair share of troubles, but he's alive. Age: 19 Weapon(s) of Choice: Ornamental sword, Remington M870 Playertype: Immune Perk: Tough Nut to Crack, Ghost
Rping has always been a form of life line for me whenever times were tough back in middle school. At the time I was going through a phase, and my imagination was what kept my emotions anchored. I drew a lot of comics, and wrote short stories. So it was only a matter of time before a good friend of mine introduced me to the world of Roleplaying. I remember in my earlier days rping for me had started with a game called, "Furcadia". That was where I would congregate a lot; specifically Kingdom Hearts RP. Helped my writing a lot. From there, I moved on to my first forum based RP section which was in Thefinalfantasy website. The RP's there were so lively at the time. Digimon, Kingdom hearts, Final fantasy, originals, etc. I Spent some time there for a while before I found KH-vids. Man, now that I think about it...the roleplay section had a ton of participants. Each roleplay I joined had more new faces than familiar ones. (I'm not saying that isn't the case now, but it WAS a huge difference.) I was Rping, way before I got paid to RP.... I guess I just like the way it feels.
Just two more weeks!! KH 2.5 HD ReMix is just around the corner!!
I had never noticed that before. Nice find! Anyway, it could just be a glitch that never got noticed? Perhaps the scene change actually does damage to you if you're close to Pete? If you pay attention to Pete, he does this kind of Neo breaks free of the Agent Smith dog pile thing, and then proceeds to the curtain fall. It's not just Goofy who gets pushed back, but also Sora (Although for some reason Sora doesn't take damage.) So it could just be a glitch.
While everyone had gone off to explore the town, the young lad named D'daear had kept himself indoors for the time being. The concept of time traveling was still a bit confusing to him, to the point that he felt he needed time to dwell on the words spoken by both Hikaru and Merlin; despite having missed a few. With eyes averted to the floor in shallow contemplation, he began to pace about the house while the train that were his thoughts warmed its wheels on the tracks. "A Time traveling...Mickey." he began to murmur. "Yen Sid's tower...what point in time was that then? I mean, if Mickey had not been seen in a while in THIS town, then does that mean he was spending time with Yen Sid? OR are there TWO different Mickeys roaming about now? A Mickey from THIS town, and a Mickey who was with Yen Sid?" he questioned in succession. These were just but a few questions he had in regards to this conundrum. The way he saw it...A point in time where you were, obviously differs to the point in time you are in now. Meaning, if you time traveled to a point where you exist, that would make it possible to run into a past or future YOU. Eye lids squinted at these ideas. As if on autopilot his body; having been moving around, found a nice comfy chair within the living room. It was only a matter of time before someone had decided to sit on one of these Sofas. Still contemplating, rear end planted itself on the soft cushion chair near a coffee table while the rest of the body found itself lazing about. Arms folded into a cross like position while brows furrowed. "Ok ok...if THIS town's Mickey is missing, and we just saw Mickey at Yen Sid's tower...then there's two Mickeys...in theory. So...technically, the Mickey WE saw COULD be hiding in this town. " he murmured to himself, just as Glen's voice had noted how exploring this town would be pointless. Head began to ache at this whole deduction in regards to time traveling. Steel soon spoke up to make a point to which D'daear had to agree to. Without looking to Glen or Steel, he went on to disagree with Glen, noting Steel. "I think Steel is right. Just because no one in THIS town has seen Mickey, doesn't necessarily mean the Mickey we saw traveled here...I think..." he spoke up, still staring away into space with some doubt. In the back of his mind, he knew staring away into space helped his concentration. "So...it's not a waste of time to search here...if not for clues at least..." Eyes caught the sight of a scrapbook laying about on the coffee table in front of him. A small sigh escaped a head throbbing D'daear. Perhaps keeping his mind off this subject for a little while would help ease this headache. Picking up the scrapbook with one hand, he went on to look at pictures. Just like the ones that decorated Mickey's bedroom, there were many photos of him alongside Minnie, and other denizens of this town. Free hand flipped a page. Head cocked to one side at the sight of Mickey with two other denizens. One of them looked like a tall anthropomorphic dog, and a Duck about Mickey's height. However, that wasn't what made his head skew. The photo, unlike most of the ones he had seen, were in black and white...or monochrome. A brow rose in question, while his hand turned to the next page. There it was again, another photo in monochrome. It was Mickey with a rather tall chubby looking fellow wearing overalls. The two were standing in front of a dock with what looked like some type of boat. It was spewing out steam. Turning the page once more, and he saw something that made his eyes widen in shock. Placed on a stocky ornate pedestal with fleur de lis designs, was a large crystal sphere that radiated bright. In front of it, was Mickey Mouse along with the the three other partners he had seen in the last two photos. "What the- No way..." he uttered weakly under his breathe. Shock began to overtake him as eyes widened, irises fixated on the large glowing transparent ball depicted in the photo. "That's the cornerstone of light!" D'daear's faded in, voice growing louder with each syllable. He chuckled in excitement with a smile. Among the many stories he had been told by his Grandma, this was definitely one he remembered. In the stories, this was a sacred relic that kept the darkness away from the Aesop woods. He always enjoyed hearing about it because the woods were always lively. The intelligent furry critters of that forest would always be doing something that at the end of their adventures, would always have a morale to teach him. D'daear placed a finger on the photo, realizing something as he tapped on it in disagreement. "...it's the cornerstone of light, but it looks a little different...Hmmm..." he contemplated out loud. Brows furrowed in disappointment, remembering how wrong his Grandmother had been about the outside worlds. After that experience, he wouldn't doubt that this would be the second of many times she would be wrong...perhaps about everything she told him. "Well...at any rate...I should probably take a photo just in case. It could prove useful when looking for Mickey..." Pulling the photo out of the album, he tossed the book onto the coffee table with a thud. He rose to his feet, and placed the photo into pockets. "So when are we ready for departure?"
Despite everything that's been debated here...^What Patman said. Right with ya...
The movie was well done. Being intended for a young audience, I just waved off certain things and took it for what it was. One thing I did notice from this Disney movie was there were parts in the movie where the score just resounded well, which helped emphasis moments in the movie. So if you're somewhat on the sensitive side when it comes to these type of things, be prepared for tears. I really enjoyed Scott Adsit's performance as Baymax. Throughout the movie, you just fall in love with the innocent robot. Everything Baymax does in this movie is just something to adore. Scott Adsit made the character REALLY memorable; although maybe that was the studio just being really good at directing their actors. If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend watching this.
