I can't give you criticism on the digital art but I can on your sketch. Don't draw on loose leaf paper. The lines tear away from the subject and when you erase it's easy to smudge the paper. Try blank paper. This will make the subject more apparent. Also make sure you darken pencil lines before coloring. This will make it "pop". Hope these tips help. Also, art pencils are easier to shade with and to draw with.

Play grand theft auto or Listen to Music. Preferably with screaming lyrics. This distracts my mind long enough to forget it. Most of the time I bottle it up, which like Misty said, I don't recommend.
