If this isn't allowed feel free to delete the post. I watched the first episode. It was okay. I liked the new characters they added but their concept of time isn't that great. Based on the time it's supposed to be in, we shouldn't have cars yet. And if it really is seventy-years in the future, then Katara should be dead. Also, Korra is a mary-sue.
I see nothing wrong with same sex adoption. Adopting a child is a wonderful thing, and that child can have a nurturing home without a Nuclear Family. You wouldn't deny a child a home just because he or she won't be adopted by a Nuclear Family would you? Of course you wouldn't.
