Go for it.
I quite like Vista's appearance, so smooth lookin'.. And I am sure that a bunch of those icons in the desktop are NOT needed, they just followed this laptop when I first got it. Dunno if I should remove those or what. >>
It calls for us...
From March 2003 in 1st forum, first post I found by me on someone's art And my first thread with art was burried in smileys, and these were all the smileys I used on the first post - I was also a twat enough to make an art thread with no art to show cause I didn't know how to show it. "what's hosting?" Other than that I pretty much just commented and posted art, all the posts I looked at contained some smileys. There were probably some typos that are stupid, but that's a habit I haven't grown out of. XD A little bit too chatty in others' threads too. >> And default smileys. Gotta admit I learned a lot there internet wise.
You've changed your name and I didn't even notice?! o_o
I'd search back to the first forum I ever went to if you wanted examples of my stupidity. =3 Or I could you know, not do that. =3 lol CtR. X3
Remember this post from another thread of yours? You can use the #2 way like Knuckles the Echidna said. OR. You can host the image you want to show in your album. User CP > under Networking you find Pictures and Albums > if you don't already have one, Add Album (then you add a title and description of it's contents, usually I just leave it setted on Public so that all the members can view it) > go to the album and click Upload Pictures (you can pick up to three images to host at the same time, but keep in mind that the size must be 600x600 pixels - the forum will automatically resize the image if it is too big for you, it just looks nicer in quality if you do it yourself before uploading it - you'll add a description for each image if you want to, otherwise it just keeps the name of the file in the comment bar) > once the image is up in your album click on it to fullview, below the image you must copy the BB Code and add that to the post you want to show the image in. This is an example from my own album by using this direction. I think it's only possible to do this on KH-Vids forum though, I'm not too sure.
Didn't notice this until now, sorry about that. I'll just make this quick then: Lavos wins with 16 points, runner up is Harlequin. Congrats to you guys and all that jazz. <3 When the new theme is up you will know. Tata.
Moved. :3 And the lineart looks rather good on the last one. If you feel like it, use a ruler for the keyblade, first draw a very weak line with a pencil and then handraw as accurate as possible with the marker or pen. That way it's not as stiff as it would have been if you used a ruler along with the marker. The chibi Axel is very charming.. X3 If you can, avoid the lined papers, but I can understand how classes gets too boring so lol. The heartless one isn't too shabby - the eyes stood out a little, but it's ok when they're not your avarage eyes. Keep it up. :>
Well re/maleficent pretty much said what was on my mind too - minor propotion issues to the body, but not all too bad. It just takes some practice to get the shapes right, tho you're on a good path right now. What I'd suggest for this is to add a harder shade of shadow to help show the shape of the body, perhaps it'll improve the drawing? :> The jeans kinda gave this metal shine look imo, I'm not sure if you intended that or not - if you did then that's a nice idea.
Quoting Axel - other than that I have nothing. :>
This thread sounds so happy. X33333
Get rid of all the stuff that keeps you busy before even concidering to return. <3 NOT fun to get buried with work and then stay distracted by spammers-no-wait-KHV. :3 Enjoy your time away! *scribble if you get the time, w00t!*
Shame I didn't get to witness. ._. Oh well, sounds like you guys had fun.
Hm. So the one you have saved on your computer is bigger than this one? Right now it's 85 x 64 pixels. If the one you already have is this size, I HIGHLY recommend to NOT resize it to something bigger, it'll look blurry and fugly and just bleh. If it's supposed to be bigger than this is now, you could try the hosting thing I explained to see if that makes a difference on forum appearance. If you don't want to tweak around with the image yourself you could request that someone fix it for you in the Graphic Shop found in Graphic Art.
1 - Do you know how to work with image sizes? 2 - Do you know how to host it? 3 - Do you know how to make it appear on this forum as a signature? 1 - Pretty much any program that has to do with images will do, MS Paint is something in every PC. Gimp is a program you can download for free and I heard good things about it. You figure it out by knowing how wide/high the image is, 500 pixels x 500 pixels is the total limit of the forum. The most common filetypes I'd say are JPG and PNG, GIFs are mostly for animated files. To figure out the width and height in MS Paint you go to Image - Attributes I think, then add the size you want it in. When you save it you can change the filetype if you want to. 2 - There are many sites where you can host your files for free. For images you can use photobucket and imageshack for example, and I swear I have heard of something called tinypic too. You go to one of those sites, they ask you to browse your folders for the file you want to upload, select the image and add it, then you can use the URL link they will give you when you are done. Don't click the one on your address bar, that one I'm pretty sure won't work. Don't close the window until you're sure you are finished showing it here. 3 - User CP, Edit Signature, you add in the link from the host site and it should look like this: [ img]LINK[ /img] without the spaces, the code will make the image show to us. Preview the signature if you want to see if you did it right first, then save it. Or have I misunderstood your question? If you wanted to make the Roxas vs Riku image you have bigger than it is, then that's not a signature - that's an avatar. Signatures are whatever follows every post you make. Regarding avatars you'll mostly want it around 100x100 that's like a standard size. Premium members and staff get to have it a little bigger tho. When I change my avatar then I prefer to upload it directly from my computer, though you can choose to add a link from a hosted site like I mentioned already.
Well I'm still around even if it doesn't seem like it. Give me a PM if/when I'm needed OK? :>
lol photoshop. :3 Actually they're rather good for firsts with that program. My fav's the Oki one for the amount of colours you added on that one. cnc: Well first of all, I'd recommend that you work on the snow falling to the ground. You know, make it look like it's in movement instead of pasted at random spots - when it's up on a mountain top I'm pretty sure there'll be at least some wind. And make the snow in different sizes instead of just one to create that perspective effect, if it's only one size it might as well only snow against a horizontal line instead of the whole area. I KNOW I saw a tutorial about making snow stuff once... I could try to locate it if you want. The mountain... Usually I don't like it if only one object has texture added while other parts don't, especially when the main object (Oki) doesn't have any - the mountain is taking the attention away from him like that. I'm not saying that you have to add texture on everything, but concider to balance each element so that they don't overshadow eachother. I'd at least lessen the texture on the mountain instead of having it that strong when the overall picture has a soft airbrush effect. The lineart I don't mind - it's just the mountain ones that are a bit iffy. It's too strong on this image. I'd recommend that you either a) lessen the opacity of the mountain's lineart, perhaps change the layer setting cause I hope you know how layers work they can make quite the difference in digital art. b) add more detail to the mountain with the lineart, like cracks and hint of the snow - it could help making it stand out less. The colour is fine imo. Only that Oki is emitting a light glow like Shiranui, you may not have intended for that outcome. Just remember that when it's nighttime, it's OK if the objects of the image are dark as well. Because it's frikking nighttime, usually the moon or torchers are the natural sources of light. :3
My fav's the Lion King one. Just listen to that roar! =3 And wow that was indeed cute, yet still weird I'm not used to listening to Japanese stuff that isn't anime or games. X3
