"I know how to swim!"Valerie said, giving a small pout. "I just haven't practiced in a while..."she said. Sora sneaked away from his spot while Riku and Kairi were working, seeing the duo. Ugh, hopefully they'll have something fun to do.... ------------ "Okay! Then training starts this-a way..."Yuffie started resuming her path to start their training.
"Alrighty then...."Yuffie didn't really like the girls attitude, but if they were on their side with wanting to destroy the heartless.... "Squalleon, what do you think? Should we train 'em?"she looked over to Leon. --------------- "Can I just-" "No...." "Not even-" "No...." "Well, can I at least-" "Sora, you are staying in that spot!"Everytime Sora tried to get up Riku help him back into place. "but I'm so boored though!"Sora groaned..."Go look for Valerie and Jeffrey... see if they've calmed down..."Riku huffed.
"Leave it to Leon to sound all big and tough... Though when you put it that way we shouldn't help a gummi ship thief..."Yuffie gave a small frown.
".....How do we know you're not bad guys planning on taking over the universe? You don't seem like good guys...."Yuffie frowned. "But okaaay... But I'll be watching the both of you..."she pointed two of her fingers from her eyes to Eden and Gexln. "Training starts this-a way..."she started heading in a direction.
"Sora? Heyheyheyheyhey-hey. Sora tottaly takes being a keyblade master seriously...he just has his moments! Right, Squall?"Yuffie looked over to Squall-er, Leon.
"So who are you guys? Are you friends of Sora?"Yuffie went over to Eden and Gexln, curiousity taking interest. "Why do you have Sora's ship? Did he let you use it? Are you from Destiny Islands or another world?" --------------- "But Kairi, I wanna heeeelp!"Sora gave a small whine. "You're helping by staying put. We need to focus on this, not worry about you and the baby as well..."Riku said. "But I can still help! The doctor just said not to stress myself, she didn't say anything about not being able to do anything!"Sora complained.
OOC:Cue the Radiant Garden welcoming committee!XD BIC: "Hey, Sora! Its about time you guys came and visit! are you on vacation or-"Yuffie had seen the gummi ship landing, but stopped in her tracks at the sight of Eden and Gexln. "Oh.....You're not Sora..."she was alittle confused. ------------- Riku had calmed down, the fesitval only few days away. "Riiiku, are you sure I can't help?"Sora asked. "No way. You're not leaving from that spot with you being so far along..."Riku said. "But Riku....Kairi, you'd let me help you guys, right?"he gave Kairi a hopeful look.
Valerie gave a long groan in her annoyance, needing to cool down. Chester stayed put, not sure who to go with. "Riku, you know they didn't mean it..."Sora went over to Riku. "They're right though.... I was so busy not having positive emotions that my negative emotions got the best of me...and now it's happening again..."Riku frowned. "Riku, don't you dare say that... You won't go to the darkness again. I know you better than that."Sora scolded. Riku saw Sora's gentle smile, giving a faint smile himself. "Yeah...." "Guuuugh....Here we are on an ISLAND and he goes and says we're not being serious. How can we be serious with nothing to DO!"Valerie was clearly still annoyed.
"Well in times of mortal crisis you can't afford to be off your gaurd!"Riku snapped. "Well if being emotionless makes you safe then why did the darkness choose you as their puppet?!"Valerie asked. Riku winced. THAT was going too far... Sora knew the pained look on Rikus face, knowing he was reliving bad memories. "Okay, thats enough... All of you need to calm down!"He snapped. "But Riku-"Valerie saw the furious look on Sora's face, going quiet.
"But when you're not fighting, you're acting like children!" "So? You don't snap at Sora whenever he tries to have fun! But you always seem to snap at us!" "Because Sora knows the danger the heartless can become!"Riku yelled. Sora woke up at the yelling, giving a small groan. Not again...
"Oh, she's become 100% evil! oooh, she never takes us seriously!"Valerie huffed. "Well, its hard not to with all of you treating this like it was nothing but a game!"Riku snapped, losing his temper. "So what, we still have to train our butts off and be as emotionless as our enemies?!"Valerie growled.
Riku was suprised when the communication line was cut off. what the hell was that for...? "Well, are they going to get us after Sora has the baby?"Valerie asked. "I dunno, the communication line cut off before I could get to that..."Riku frowned. "Well, we're screwed."Valerie realized they weren't coming back for them....
OOC:Well Riku had no way of knowing ANYONE was on the gummi, really.XD BIC: "Oh good, for a second I thought the gummi took off on its own..."Riku was alittle angry at Gexln after the moment of betrayal, but stayed calm. "I just wanted to make sure the two of you weren't in trouble.... We'll keep in contact, right?" Valerie was watching Riku with the communicator, picking up the small Shadow.
Riku decided to wait for a response from Eden or Gexln. "Eden, Gexln, are you there? This is Riku..."he repeated. he looked down to see Chester at his legs. "Shoo..."He gently pushed the heartless away with his foot.
OOC:Oh gosh, now I have nothing to do for the next 4-5 days. gosh dangit.XD BIC: Riku was taking a break from preperations for the festival, deciding to make quick contact with the gummi ship. "Riku to the gummi ship. Everyone doing okay in there?"He said through the communicator.
OOC:Well after the gummi left our group on the Islands is stuck there until Sora has the baby. and YOU'RE ALIIIIIIVE!*hug* BIC: Preparing the town for the festival was fun in itself. It showed how a town could work together if the recovery of the islands wasn't proof enough. Valerie couldn't help but smile at how peaceful the town had grown despite what had happened over a week ago. Riku sighed, too accustomed to life on the islands. But he didn't mind staying...despite his mother and a doctor constantly tending to the wound on his back. He looked over to Sora, who had fallen asleep on the job. "Really?"Valerie had her hands on her hips. "Psh, he can't be like that when fighting heartless."she huffed. "Well he won't have to be after the babys born..."Riku said. "The...? Has it even hit you yet that-"Valerie shook her head. "nevermind. I just can't wait until they come back for us so we can get through the whole Mark of Mastery exam..."she shrugged.
OOC:It does sound arrogant, but it is Riku.... One of his negative traits.:\ BIC: When the group got back into town after the gummi ship took off there was a bit of a suprise. It looked like the residents were preparing for some big event. "Whats going on?"Sora asked. "The mayor said we're going to have a celebration in a few days to congradulate everyone for doing their hard work restoring the island!"Selphie explained. "Not sure if it's a good thing to celebrate about, but it's something positive..."Irvine said. "A celebration?"Valerie looked around, a bit in awe. Sora gave a wide grin. "A celebration! See? Now you'll really get to see what life is like on Destiny Islands!" "Well, when it's not being attacked by heartless."Riku added, looking around. "Yeesh, you always have to be a downer about everything, don't you?"Valerie asked. "Well there has to be someone serious in this group of nut cases...."Riku shook his head.
"Understood. Preparing for take off..."The gummis area seemed to change, appearing smaller than if the whole group was in the gummi. ----------- "gaaaaah! I knew it!"Valerie groaned when the gummi took off. "Oh well. They'll come back for us..."Sora shrugged. "Well the repairs are almost complete around town. I wonder what kind of reward everyone will have for us..."Riku sighed. "Reward?"Valerie asked. "The last time the mayor gave a speech congradulating us on our defeat of Organization XIII. It was boring."Sora said. "Maybe they'll throw something more exciting this time..."Riku said.
"Passenger count invalid."The robotic voice of the gummi replied. "Sensors read no sign of the two keyblade masters....Do you still want to take flight without the passengers?" ------------ "She's gone crazy...." "Big time..."Sora and Riku were on the beach, watching Valerie try and head to the play island by herself. "Well I am NOT going to be left out of the action. So arriverderci!"Valerie was doing her best to control the boat she had. Suddenly a large wave took her and her boat, sending them overboard out in the water. "agh! Heeey! No fair!"Valerie yelled. "Want me to get her?"Riku asked. "Please? Before she drowns herself..."Sora chuckled. Riku sighed, swimming out to rescue Valerie. He got the boat right side up, carrying her to keep her afloat. "Let me go! If you're gonna swim, take me to the gummi ship!"Valerie protested. Riku, however, headed for shore since it was closer. "If you want to go by yourself, you could've asked one of us to take you."Riku said, giving a small huff. "You don't mind them leaving you here?"Valerie asked. "Well, as long as you come back for us once Sora's had the baby."Riku said. "How are we supposed to know when THAT happens?"Valerie asked. "We still have the communicator. We'll keep in contact..."Riku made it to the point where Valerie could stand in the water, stopping. Valerie let go, crossing her arms. "You don't HAVE to go by yourself, you know. you could always wait here. Don't you wanna see the normal life of Destiny Islands?"Sora asked. Valerie looked to the island, sighing in defeat. "Fine...."Suddenly the Shadow came to them from the town, a shadow rising from the sand. "ah, there you are, Chester..."Valerie picked up the small heartless. "Great! Problem solved."Sora said. "No it isn't!"Valerie snapped. Riku just put a hand over her mouth to keep her from complaining.
"So! So, so so so so?!"Valerie smiled when the trio left the examination room. "Its a girl..."Sora said shyly, blushing. "Due in a few days from what the doctor said."Riku added. "Yes! Haha! Next stop, Twilight Town!"Valerie smiled. "As soon as we find Chester!" "Um...we can't leave yet."Sora said. "What? why not?!"Valerie asked. "The doctor said no gummi travel until he's delivered. we can't have a mark of mastery exam with only one candidate...."Riku said. "But Eden and Gexln have the gummi ship! Do you realize whats going to happen if we're not over to them soon? They are going to leave without us."Valerie huffed. "Eden wouldn't do that..."Sora frowned. "Old Eden wouldn't. But New Eden will."Valerie sighed. "We only have to wait until Sora has the baby and has fully recovered from the labor..."Riku said. Valerie whined in protest, not wanting to be left out of the heartless fighting....
