Kanda was standing at the edge of a stream, more, a trickle of brownish liquid. He let loose a quick breath as the sky began to darken and the oppressive heat lessened slightly. A large rock formation had begun to show itself on the horizon. It shot into the sky, easily seen from so far away, endeavouring to reach the clouds. A bit closer he spied a mass of curving structures. Buildings? Here? Continuing, and as the buildings grew closer, two figures appeared, insignificant specks, threatened to be swallowed in the vastness of the wastleland. One in red and the other somehow strange. From here there was no way to quite tell, but it walked differently than it should. Hm. Whatever. Walking again, he ensured he would not be seen by these two. He had something to find. Or maybe, someone.
He stood a slight distance off, his cloak meekly rustling in a gust of wind. Gazing vacantly out towards the fading light, the purplish sun coming to meet the ground, Kusameruko silently sighed and steeled himself for the long journey. Hopefully the next world isn't too far away. Gazing balefully at the entrance to the strange ship he was to board, where everyone was dutifully piling into or idling as he was, he wondered, exactly, why he was here at all.
Yeah. But Light doesn't have to be that bad. Everyone's just gone straight to the City. Maybe they could have walked around some more. I find this beginning to be moving very quickly, but I suppose that is what happens in things like RPs. (This is my first one, so....)
Hmm?! (So many people in sky city.)
It's dark here.... It's hard to breathe. (How did I-) A ghost of a whisper came to his ears. I...need...-r than...if we pla...on th...., help of...heart.... What is this? ...nda. Is, that... you? Far away, the world began to lighten and he reached out his hand. A thought floated slowly into the air and took form before his eyes. Something he could fall into and never return. A time when he was someone else; ignorant if not happy. The safety of emptiness so frustratingly close... maybe he could finally.... Tch. What the hell are you thinking. He opened his eyes to the scorching white light of the sun, coughing on the fine layer of dust that blanketed the barren ground, the safety darkness brought, incinerated. His vision sharpened and blurred as a wind whipped his long black hair around him. Tiny tornadoes danced across his fingers as he vacantly stared at his outstretched hand lying limp in front of him. His cheek warm upon the rough earth, the whisper gone, no longer calling, and the drying blood that made his fingers sticky, running like veins in the skin of the earth, maps, as the ones that ran through his own skin. -Drying? How long have been gone? He scanned the horizon as he pulled himself into a sitting position. A blue-black curtain obscured his face, staring now at both his hands, only realizing his katana was in neither. Lazily, shifting his piercing gaze slightly, he saw it to his left, the cloth bag to carry it in ripped, as was his own uniform. Swearing softly, he reached to it and stood. What now... huh? A second to look over his shoulder. A moment to feel the heat beat down. Hours, if not days, to find some sort of drinkable stream. Tch. Fingering the red beads around his left wrist, he set his eyes on the dark edge of the horizon, Mugen rattling softly in it's sheath as he set onward.
Thankee for banner, DarkTraitor. Still thinking of how to make my entrance. 'sigh'
I thought I would put Kanda in Hourglass instead of Jedi Order because I don't think he could stand to follow a tiny little green man. It's a real dilemma. Though maybe even CO would be appropriate. Hm.
I second a that. We really should have a neutral team. Or not have to join a team at all. That is, because, I don't know who to join.
Has the RP started already and I can't find it? Or I just need to wait....
Paranoid Android-Radiohead
Ehh. Lavi's alright. He is seriously lacking in the manga at present, (haven't seen him in FOREVER) so I have forgotten how awesome he is. I think I'll just stick with one person for now.
****. That's what I get for taking too long to think. (So long moon stone and sleeping lion.) Username: Pandatastic Flagellum Name: Kusameruko Gender: Male Age: 18 Appearance: silver eyes usually obscured by short bluish-black hair. Slim build, pale skin. Has a black swirling tattoo on his left hand and a pale scar running from his left eye midway down his neck. Keyblade: Metal Chocobo Magic: Aero Keystone: doesn't have one (can i do that?) Personality: rarely decides to talk to people and may come off as rude. Dislikes people who don't know or realize things that are obvious or he thinks they should know. Detached from the world, except in battle; when he is fighting this is all that matters. This causes him to leave others behind, whether intentionally, or not. Other: Sometimes has trouble telling his dreams or thoughts from his actual memories.
Yeah, I was thinking that, too. Maybe if we have someone as Lavi. Hmmm.
Interested as well. Just thinking of a character. Will return soon/eventually. But don't worry; not too late.
Still accepting? Well, anyway.... Username: Pandatastic Flagellum Character of Choice: Kanda Yuu Picture(optional): Spoiler Game/Anime/Etc. the Character is from: D. Gray Man Additional Info: able to regenerate himself. Markings: large tattoo covering his left shoulder, star shaped scars on forearms. Weapon: Mugen, katana. A dark past has made it difficult for him to open up to other people. He is blunt, rude most of the time, quick-tempered, determined, and self-sacrificing. He is only able to show himself to a very few, close, respected friends. Is an Exorcist at the Dark Order HQ, originally from the Asian branch.
Ergo Proxy - psychological, steampunk. Not for the faint of heart; really, it's confusing, but one of the best made animes I can think of in terms of presentaion and execution. Post apocolyptic, but don't let that deter you. I don't like to give anything away at all, though, so I don't know how to convince you but...whatever. D.Gray Man - Reminds me alot of FMA somehow Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom - psychological, tragedy; one of the most tragedy-est tragedy you will every see. Lots of shoot-outs and hand to hand stuff. How some of the characters age really bothers me (ex. afters years have passed, they still look exactly the same), but otherwise, I have no qualms. Vampire Knight, Mirai Nikki (ongoing) too lazy to put info for these.
Cake. (Somehow)
Thank everyone. <(^.^)>
Just made an account recently after just using the site for the cutscene archive and stalking around in the forums. I thought I should join one of the RP's since I saw some really good ones. If anyone can give a suggestion to a newer RP that shows some merit, I'd be grateful. I was looking for a little bit, but they all seem so far along already. Anyway, just looking to participate more and get to know some people, etc. To get to the point: Likes: obviously D. Gray Man (just finished re-watching it; why can't the anime continue! 'sob'), Ergo Proxy (awesome anime, I highly recomend it), reading, video games (duh), drawing (Kanda pic in the making), archery, writing (poetry or prose), Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, oh, another anime: Requiem for the Phantom 'nod'. I guess that's good enough. Commence conversation.
A Wolf At The Door - Radiohead (again)
