At worst, Blizzard Raid should hit twice, which does about half of the damage that Blizzaga does. But since Blizzard Raid only uses one Blizzard per Sleight, and can hit maybe up to 3, 4, or even 6 times, Blizzard Raid would work better.

Oh yeah, and just so you know, he can only do that little poof of fire attack and move around slowly when he's blue. So if you keep on Breaking his Temper Flare Sleight, he'll never turn red, which is when he moves around fast and use those flamethrower or Firaga Ball attacks.

Use a Calm Bounty, learn Blizzard Raid, and make a deck based on that. I honestly don't see how people have so much trouble against him.

Save your 0s for FireTooth though. Fire Wall just needs a simple Dodge Roll, and his other attacks shouldn't be able to Break through your Blizzard Raid spamming.

Blizzard Raid him. Just for a comparison, 4 hits from Blizzard Raid is equivalent to a Mega Flare, and we all know how strong that is. And then you factor in his weakness, so you can pretty much pwn him. Quick Recovery drains fast by the Raid too, but I'd rather just use the DarkSide card for that so he doesn't just warp away on a good Raid.

You unlock Link from beating Sora's story.

And here's a vid, although not a really good battle (in my opinion, due to terrible decks and hacked stats for both competitors):

Also, that topic's Anti-Form Sora looks nothing like the actual Shadow Sora sprite. And then there's the fact that the code he used was just a bunch of random numbers. But in actuality, you can hack character sprites, like a red eyed Sora, for example.

Double Sleight is overrated. What's the point in trying to kill Heartless with using a Doubled Mega Flare/OmniSlash/Holy when just boosting them normally makes them kill Heartless in one-shot? Double Sleight is near worthless for the final boss, and in Versus you're just setting yourself up for a CardBreak.

That being said, a lot of the Organization cards in the GBA version aren't that useful. Vexen can work in any deck, but you won't really use it, and Lexaeus should be in every KeyBlade deck, but Sleights are better overall. Larxene is fun, but not really worth it. Marluxia gives plenty of nice resistances, but the common attack for Heartless are Physical, and in Versus you just end up getting CardBroken on the second Sleight. Axel is actually kinda good, but then again a Bracer effect is probably more useful as it doesn't let the opponent attack at all.

As for Re:CoM, some effects are pretty cool, like All Break and Double Attack, but I'd rather take my Red Nocturne for Mega Flare.

GBA has a better deck against Lexaeus than the PS2 deck. If you just used Sleights all the time with the GBA version you would have had an easy time too. Average time it takes to beat Lexaeus in the Remake is about 2 to 3 minutes, while the average time to beat Lexaeus in the original is about a minute and a half, from what I've seen on YouTube.

Probably along the road representing nothingness. However, Riku said that he was taking the road to dawn, correcting DiZ's statement of the twilight, so there's a possibility that Castle Oblivion is at the end of the road which stands between light and dark as well.

In the case of a tie valued CardBreak without Dueling though, the player that gets broken will recoil like a normal CardBreak, but no action will happen.

So if Axel plays a 1, and then Sora plays a 1, Axel will recoil as if he was CardBroken, but Sora's card won't be activated and will instead be used up without any effect.

I also forgot to mention that the highest number that Riku can increment or decrement his Darkness Counter is 9. So even if he Breaks a 17 valued Sleight with a 0, it would still only increase by 9.

I also forgot to mention that Riku can double jump in Dark Mode, and if he uses a Soul Eater card after double jumping, he will perform his Combo Finish without having to use two other cards to make a chain. (in CoM, at least, not sure for Re:CoM)

    Watch This:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nBlF3tePEs

    - Additionally, during a Boss battle against a boss without a deck, a green card with a Mickey Mouse symbol may appear. When used, it will change the battle field to help the player.

    - In the Select button tutorial section, it opens up the enemy deck, which is a deck full of enemy cards. When a card from there is used, a little counter will appear beside the deck. The effects range from powering up your attacks, turning you invisible, and even more!

    And this:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDRmSicvb_s

    - To correct the tutorial, one or two cards can be used in a Stock as well.

    - Also, Premium cards, which are Blue or Red bordered cards with a gold value and an occasional shine can not be Reloaded if it was used on its own. Stocking it as the second or third card can bring it back at a Reload, or when a proper Item card is used.

    - In Re:CoM, you can unStock cards.

    - Riku's Reload Icon doesn't need charging.

    - In Re:CoM, and while playing as Riku, if you have a tie with the opponent with your values, then you may "Duel". Basically, the enemy will have a card shown, and Riku has to Break it with a card in his deck. If the right amount of cards are Broken in the period of time, then Riku will perform a very powerful and high valued attack while avoiding damage. If the Duel was unsuccessful, Riku will take the hit normally.

    - Riku can go into "Dark Mode". If Riku gets hit, then the Darkness Counter will go up by one, and each time he CardBreaks, the number of the CardBreak will increase his Darkness Counter (and decrease if he gets CardBroken). After it reaches 30 or higher and Riku uses a card, then Riku will turn into Dark Mode. In Dark Mode, Riku has a different kind of attacking pattern, can use Dark Sleights, and his Dueling techniques will be stronger. His new Darkness Counter decreases each time he gets hit (minus 5), and will decrease if CardBroken (but doesn't increase if he CardBreaks). When it reaches 0, he'll turn back into normal mode.

    - In Re:CoM, Sora can do other actions rather than Jump or Dodge Roll, such as Glide after you reach a certain point in the game.

Both videos apply to Re:CoM, although there are some other things that I had to add in. Other people can add on anything I missed.

Complicated? What? CardBreak three times, use Fire Raid, rinse and repeat. Use cards at 7 value or over to CardBreak. Break dice for the Trinity card.

Try to use Omnislash and Holy if they're available in your deck. Both of them should do more than half a bar even if they're unboosted. Once you stuff a deck full of those, add in Cures and 0s at the end of your deck so that you can heal or Break whenever you need to simply by scrolling a couple of cards to the left. As for enemy cards, use the ones that will boost the power of the main attack of your deck (ex. Wizard for a Holy based deck, etc.), and add Large Body or Gargoyle if you have them as they work well for Riku's attacks. Filler Sleights you could use would be Sonic Blade, Judgment, or Blitz, but their damage pales in comparison to the likes of Omnislash and Holy.

Oh and uh, you don't mind me if I decide to post my advice, do you, DogBoy?

Probably the three underground members from the Castle Oblivion group so Riku can defeat them properly (I mean, in Re:CoM even Lexaeus sorta won if it weren't for Ansem taking control... But Lexy flat out lost in the GBA version). Or maybe Saix, because Riku and him almost fought, and it would have been cool to see which one would win. Or maybe the other Organization members from Castle Oblivion, because they were cooler than the KH2 members, in my opinion (in which I would want Riku to defeat them instead of Sora, lol).

It's the last Sleight level up bonus. Either at level 52 or 53. Mushu + Fire + Fire creates it, and it's a fantabulous Heartless destroyer, especially when boosted with Red Nocturne.

And wouldn't it be better to beat him faster so you can save and shut the GBA off before anyone see?

lol. And spamming Fire Raid with Red Nocturne doesn't flat out own him enough? There's no point in outstalling any boss in this game. Gargoyle is a nasty ingame card though, screwing up many of the bosses, especially the ones that people consider hard, like the last battles with Larxene or Riku.

All his attacks are valued at seven, so take out anything under that value. You can get away with having only a few sevens/0s by just Reloading a lot though. Oh, and I think the attack where he apparently does no damage is the one where he heals.

Sleights are probably the best way to take out Riku, preferably with a Parasite Cage in your deck to get rid of Sleight Lock. That way, he should activate Incrementor, getting rid of his 0s, and his Sleights usually aren't too highly valued in most cases, even with the Value ups. You could even use 27 valued Sleights if you have them, or try your luck at getting rid of Incrementor instead to handle lower valued Sleights but take more risks of 0s.

Some easy Sleights to use are Holy if it's available, as it does a pretty hefty amount of damage, especially with the Wizard card if you have it. Omnislash also does a decent amount of damage, and like Holy, does well when boosted with the Crescendo card. Judgment is a random throw-in that can support your main offense, and then there's Sonic Blade which is also somewhat decent (although not quite as devastating as OmniSlash or Holy). Try to avoid using elemental attacks, such as Thunder or Fire, as he resists all the elements. Still, I've beaten him using a Blizzard Raid deck a few times before quite easily, but Neutral Sleights like Holy are generally more effective. Items should be put in as well, particularily Elixirs, and they should be right after all your attacks.

Put Cures and 0s at the end of your deck, so you only need to scroll a couple cards to the left to heal or Break whenever you need to.

When it comes to enemy cards, you should put in cards that boost the power of your attacks, such as Crescendo for a deck based on Omnislash. Air Pirate is useful for Items, as is Leaf Bracer for Cures. Barrel Spider is for when you don't have Items, as the Shuffling time after a Reload can waste a lot of time. Also consider Large Body, so that only his Sleights can hurt you if you manuever properly, or Gargoyle for an easier time avoiding his attacks in general.

Eh, DP doesn't matter too much. Just keep it at a decent level, maybe around the 20s early game, the 30s mid-game, and as much as you want late game. Be sure not to level DP up over 100 by the way, otherwise you can't maximize the HP and AP stats.
