I didn't really like either that much... But I guess Hikari, either the normal version or that mix that was used for the Re:CoM intro.

I get annoyed by Simple and Clean's lyrics sometimes and I can't stand Sanctuary/Passion.

^ That's a really good and complex strategy VGN! How'd you think of it?

Nomura wanted people to be able to play KH anywhere, that's why he made it for the GBA.

Re:CoM's better, due to quality reasons, but I was very disappointed in the difficulty. Chain of Memories was already easy enough, but then Re:CoM just made things too easy (Genie Jafar works for Stocks in Boss battles, meaning Ars Arcanum spamming, Stop works too, so Lethal Frame kicks the crap out of every boss, etc.).

Ansem is just way too easy in the remake as well, whereas in the original he was pretty much the only somewhat challenging boss.

Re:CoM's overall more fun to play though, mostly because of the system change, and all the additions to an already great game.

He doesn't have a fire spin attack in Chain of Memories. It's also a better idea to have the 0s at the end of your deck so that you can just scroll a couple cards to the left to Break a nasty attack. Saves time at the start of the battle so you don't have to scroll through a whole bunch of 0s to get to your attacks.

Weaknesses and resistances don't stack, actually, so Ice attacks will do the same amount of damage whenever you attack him with one.

Use Sleight Lock + Dark Aura. Notice how I beat him with base AP and less than base HP, so you should have no problem against him.

Premium cards cost the value 1 of their card type, are worth 10 more Moogle Points than usual, and if used on their own they are UnReloadable (Stocking them as the second or third card allows them to be Reloaded). That's why it's best to use Premium cards in Sleights (as in, the whole Sleight should consist of Premium cards). Very useful for expensive Stock Techniques like Mega Flare. Also, only Attack and Magic cards can be Premium. It's best to only turn every Magic except Cure and TinkerBell, because most Magic cards are best used in Stock Techniques.

You always turn into Dark Mode after getting 30 Dark Points in battle. The DP stat just increases how long you can stay in Dark Mode.

Struggle. Classic Organization battle theme (and Riku and DiZ too). Mysterious, powerful, and just gives that feeling of tension and disaster. I think it suits the members like Larxene, Vexen, and Zexion better than Reflection.

It's also very cool to hear on the piano.

How was it stupid? Nomura wanted something for handhelds at the time, and the GBA was the only system available.

Riku Replica 2 can't be the hardest boss for Riku because you can spam Dark Aura so many times on him, and Lexaeus just flat out dies to Sleights. Ansem at least attacks a lot and blocks out some of your attacks.

It seems that Riku Replica is considered one of the hardest bosses in the game by most players here...

Ars Arcanum and Ragnarok are pretty weak against Marluxia actually...

Sora had no hard bosses. All of them could be beaten in around a minute or less (Axel 1 can be beaten in around less than 10 seconds with two boosted Blizzagas, and Marluxia 2 can be beaten in 50 seconds :p).

As for Riku... Most of them are easy. Ansem is probably the only one that's actually hard. Riku Replica 2 wasn't hard at all because you can spam Dark Aura at a minimum of 6 times lol. Ursula can take a while though if you're playing with no AP boosts.

Marluxia resists Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Neutral damage, so try to avoid those attacks. He has a weakness to Physical though, so that might be effective.

Holy and Omnislash are actually the only two Sleights that I would really recommend for any use against Marluxia, as they give out a lot of raw damage even after being resisted. The strongest attack chain you can use on him is Divine Rose > OathKeeper > CrabClaw, so try to make a deck based on that chain.

Support your attacks with Genie Jafar and/or Card Soldier and Dragon Maleficent. Consider using their values so that when you Stock them together they equal a total value of 16-19, which allows you to use them all in one big attack without making a Sleight. Use Items such as Elixirs/Hi-Potions to bring them back.

Keep 0 valued KeyBlades along with Cure cards (higher valued or 0 is preferred), at the end of your deck so that you only need to scroll a couple of cards to the left to heal or CardBreak.

With default controls on VBA, 'A' should be 'L' and 'S' should be 'R'.

Yeah, but try the Dark Firaga method too, because it's way simpler.

As for AP, 20-ish should be good enough. You're 9 away from the max AP amount, so you don't really have to level up anymore.

Now let's see... If you're fast at stocking away cards, then stock away every card on its own except for 0s and 9s (ex. Stock an 8, go to the Reload Icon, then release it so that you don't have it anymore). Then activate the Dragon Maleficent card and use the BBA button combo with the 9s and Break any incoming Sleights with your 0s.

But if that's too complicated, just constantly CardBreak him with a Dark Firaga until his HP is gone.
