I was considering getting one myself. However, I decided to wait and see if they come out with a special edition for Kingdom Hearts.

Nomura has confirmed that the fourteenth member is not Namine. And because of that, she probably isn't Kairi either. Nomura has NOT confirmed that the fourteenth member is not Aqua. Therefore, she remains as a possible identity.
In my opinion, I don't think that the fourteenth member is a "new" original character. Why would Nomura create a new character for one game, and then erase her in the next sequel? Seems a little pointless.
Think about this: Xemnas was introduced in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. He was then mentioned in CoM, and then became a key character in KH2. Namine was a key character in both CoM and KH2. Here's the pattern: when an original character is introduced in the Kingdom Hearts series, they are used in at least two game plots.
Therefore the fourteenth member will make another appearance after the events of "358/2 Days." Or, perhaps she already has made an appearance. Remember, "Birth by Sleep" took place 10 years in the past.
Thus, Aqua is yet again in the spotlight. Also, I notice Nomura hasn't said much about her. Aqua wasn't even in the TGS trailer apparently. What's even more strange is that she was the first knight in the KH2 Secret Ending to reveal her identity. She played a pretty big role in it, too.

Well aren't you a beauty! If you don't like it, don't draw more attention to it! And it isn't a theory. It is just an observation. Get your vocabulary right.

P.S. If you we're just joking, then specify next time. I dislike being bitter to people that don't deserve it!

That's better than what I came up with! XD I only got to the 358+7=365! Good idea with the 14 member! However, Nomura has stated that the only way to completely understand the title is to finish the game. So who knows...

Well, I found it in L.A.'s Little Tokyo along with other KH books. If you have a Japanese market near you, I suggest looking there. Or the internet always works!

I thought so! XD It seemed WAY too easy to be standard. I don't even remember where I read that Terra was only available on Standard or higher. It was probably a mistranslation when KH2 Final Mix first came out. Bleh. Thanks anyway!
    Will someone close this now?

Okay, the Terra boss fight is only available if you are playing on standard or one of the harder modes, right? 'Cause I thought I was playing on easy! I saved after the end credits and decided to load the game again to wrap up some mini games. But when it loaded, a "new event" had been added at Disney Castle. So, I land in Disney Castle, and what do I find? A BIG, FAT hole in the wall which we all know leads to the Terra Boss fight!
I know hardly any Japanese, so it is likely that I picked the wrong mode. I remember choosing the top one (hows that for accuracy? ^^; )
Will someone end my confusion please before I decide to jump into that hole and get run over by Terra 10 times? XD
    Poor poor Sora...

Well, it said "We must return to free them from their torment," so the mystery is finding out where exactly we need to "return" to and who "they" are. "They" is plural, so it has to be a group of two or more people. By what I read, "Coded" takes place in a data version of Castle Oblivion from Jiminy's journal, right? So it must be someone from Sora's memories. Now, what group of people has Sora encountered in Castle Oblivion that includes more than one person? *hint* *hint*
Tell me if you don't get my drift. XD

O.o Umm... sorry but "calm?" Saix is a beserker. In other words, he goes absolutely nucking futs when he's fighting. When he's normal, I totally agree with you, he is calm, emotionless.
However he apparently does "snort" when Xigbar comments on Demyx's stupidity in the Axel and Roxas story included in Another Report. I went rummaging through all the files on my computer and found the translation for the stories. I guess the mystery is solved! Saix is capable of laughing! Whooo-hooooo!
.... well sorta... if you constitute "snorting" as laughter. XD
    *snicker*

    Thanks for moving it! *phew*
The year is used in KH, or at least it is by Ansem the Wise. Didn't he say that Sora was asleep for an entire YEAR? Plus, Nomura uses the unit of "years" when he's asked questions about the timeline in KH. (Example: "Birth by Sleep is based 10 years in the past...")

Uncovering the secret in the title....

I am going to say up front that if anyone thought of this already, good for you and sorry that I missed your discovery.
I haven't gotten too far with unlocking the title mathematically, but here it is:
Roxas was trapped in Diz's data Twilight Town for 7 days (or at least, that was the beginning of KH2). There are 365 days in a year; in a leap year, there are 366 days. In this case, I am using a normal year.
    356 days-358 days =7 days
So, we know the game will not cover the seven days that Roxas spent in the data Twilight Town.
Now here's the part that I can't figure out. In the trailer, Roxas says that he will disappear in 151 days.
    358/2=179
    179-151=28
So... what happened in those 28 days? Maybe Roxas somehow found out about Sora and realized what Diz was up to.

Okay, so now for what I really think: that second part about the 28 days and stuff... IT'S RIDICULOUS!!!! It doesn't explain what happened in the rest of the year.
I only put it in this thread to see if it would give someone else an idea.
Good luck! ...your going to need it if you are confused as I am. XD
So how 'bout it? Any ideas?

P.S. I hope this isn't too confusing. If it is, just get a adminstrator to close this thread. XD

That's so unfair. Why won't they release an English version of any KH novels? They should be working on translating the other novels into English instead working on another Japanese release. I would love to learn Japanese, but I know I can't learn it overnight. I'm surprised Disney isn't stepping up to do anything to make these books come to North America.
Xaldin, do you think anyone is going to translate these short stories?

Nomura has stated the the KH2 secret ending takes place immediately before the KH2 Final Mix ending. In other words, the Final Mix secret ending was an extension of the KH2 secret ending. End of story.

That could be. However, since the name hasn't been mentioned much, I'm guessing they'll be called chasers. Heartless are the result of darkness surrounding a heart that has been stolen. Nobodies are the body and soul left behind. Perhaps chasers are what steel the hearts in the first place. Maybe, like you said, they are the souls of those who have lost their hearts/bodies to the darkness. I haven't really thought about why they would steal hearts that are not their own, though. Perhaps it's because their hearts were somehow destroyed and there is no hope of repairing them. Thus, they seek for a new heart, chasing after those that have one.
That's probably way-out there, but oh well. XD

Why on earth are you being so rude? It's totally ridiculous! You shouldn't insult somebody who doesn't deserve it. You should save it for someone who is rude as well. This thread is completely harmless! Why did I post it? Well, it certainly was not to annoy you or anybody else on this site. I am not trying to ruin your day. I am not insulting you in any way. Do you always treat people as horrible as this? If you can't think of any polite way to answer me back, then I highly suggest you don't.
AND this thread does have to do with Kingdom Hearts because it concerns Square Enix's profits from the games, which is a big deal concerning which consle the games come out on. And you are seriously mistaken that people don't care about a PS2 release. If you haven't noticed, there are many KH fans on this site that still hope for a PS2 release. Many people don't want to buy more new consles or can't afford to.
I was interested when I went shopping to see that a DS game could be converted into a PS2 game. Is that really so "retarted?"
I refuse to thank you for replying to this thread.
