When I was in Japan, I saw the new PSP Slim, but I do not know if the games for it are PSP Slim exclusive.
Thank you for the 3D game list. I will look those up shortly.

See, the problem is with the PS3 is that most of the games for it are very short, due to the amount of hard work that goes into them. Look at Heavenly Sword or Portal. Both games are very short... but I guess they're also very good (my opinion so don't slaughter me). If Square was to put both games on the PSP, it might work, but it would still be difficult. That's the problem with small platforms. They should have just started making it for the PS3 in the first place, even if the graphics were equivalent to KH2.

I am talking about both. "The new KH Titles." I used 358/2 Days as an example, since it is the first one to be released. I realize my post was a little confusing. Sorry 'bout that! 8)

Since there has been no news on the new KH titles for at least 5 months, I am beginning to wonder if they're considering changing platforms. Now, don't shut me out! I've got reasons:
First, the problems they have been having with the DS. They complain that the platform does not have enough memory/power, since they are trying to make the game in full 3D with voice acting. The PS2 was capable of doing that with KH1 and KH2, but can the DS really match up? And with multi-player? By the end of this summer!?! But since I do not own a DS maybe I wouldn't know. I haven't seen a 3D game on it yet, so I do not have the best idea. Though, smaller the platform=lesser the quality.
Second item on the list is the lack of news on all the games. If they are considering a change in platforms, (which is not official, just an observation folks), then they wouldn't release news until it was set in stone. But, seriously, I could be wrong.
However, I have heard there is a new PSP and DS coming out....
Bleh... I can't make up my mind. Help? :xp:

Kill you? Goodness gracious never! ^.^
Well we do know that something bad happens to TVA, but death might be a little harsh. Erasure might be a possibility. I posted a thread about that here: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=49622
Death and dying is not a KH thing. Even some of the Disney Villains are brought back to life (damn Malificent). Nobodies don't exactly die, they just sort of fade away. ;3; Poor guys.
About keyblades, what if Terra gave it to Sora? Once I get my theory done, I'll be able to explain better.

Okay, I understand now. Thank you. I had a similiar idea to repliku about Ven and Roxas but more about that later. I am still convinced that Ven is younger and less experienced, though.
Here's something to think about that I haven't mentioned: Naminé. I am guessing she is a character in BBS, though I obviously could be dead wrong. If this was the case, then we know who Ven would be paired with. Think: Roxas looks like Ven, Naminé looks like...
Also, about the "look" between Aqua and Ven. Pika_power already wrote what I think, so you could look at her posts.

I see... so that's why. I didn't even interpret it that way. Like you I thought she was more of the mother/sisterly-type, and Terra being somewhat like a big brother.
But I think Xehanort still is after Terra.
    Translated by bittermeats from KHInsider:

    荒野でKH2FM+のシークレットムービーに登場した老人と対峙するテラ。
Terra confronts the old man from the KH2FM+ secret movie at the wasteland.

    ゼアノート「お前ならば 辿り着くと信じていた――」
Xehanort: I believed you'd find your way by now――

    ゼアノート「光と闇の壁を越え、私の元へ」
Xehanort: Cross the wall between the light and darkness, to me

    ゼアノート「待ちわびたぞ、テラ」
Xehanort: I'm tired of waiting for you, Terra

    老人は嬉しそうに手を広げる。逆にテラは険しい表情。
The old man offers out his hand. Oppositely, Terra makes a grim face.

Well, I should have said ATTEMPTS at damnatio memorie. That would have been more accurate. We still know that people like King Tut existed, but because of his "erasure," we have little information on him.

This is an idea with no evidence, I just thought it might be interesting to you all.
Damnatio Memorie literally means to damn someone's memory. In other words, you erase that person from books, pictures, life, etc. It has happened before in Earth's history, especially in Ancient Egypt and Rome/Greece. If someone of the royal family or any family for that matter dishonored or did something to upset everyone, they would have Damnatio Memorie committed upon them. I remember seeing a fresco painting of a family from Ancient Rome where one of the son's faces was etched out. They also did it to King Tutenkamun (sp?) of Ancient Egypt. They erased him from any writings, but left his tomb intact strangely.
"Damnatio Memorie" is indeed Latin, "damnatio" meaning to damn and "memorie" meaning memory.
In Kingdom Hearts, if something like that should happen to someone, that person's heart would either collapse or shatter. Now, we know something terrible happens to Ven's heart:
Terra: I have a friend. Tell me, what did you do to his heart!?!
If you notice in the KH2 Final Mix secret ending, Xehanort does something to Ven before he freezes him. Black flames engulf him, which I am guessing is whatever hurt Ven's heart. I am not saying that "damnatio memorie" is what Xehanort did but I am talking about the idea of it.
From the trailer script translated by bittermeats at KHInsider:
    ヴェン「誰だ? あんたに会ったことなんか…」
Ven: Who are you? As for having met you…

    何かを思い出したように驚くヴェン。
Ven seems surprised at having remembered something.

    ゼアノート「そうだ、お前は失っている。」
Xehanort: Seems that you're losing it.

    ゼアノート「しかしそれは永遠の喪失ではない 手に入れるために失ったのだ!」
Xehanort: However, you haven't lost it permanently. In order to obtain it, give up.

    ゼアノート「今こそ全てを取り戻し、真実を掴み取るのだ!」
Xehanort: Now recover everything, and discover the truth!

    老人が手で魔法?を発動、ヴェンは混乱と恐怖に陥ったような表情。
The old man releases magic from his hands, Ven's expression becomes confused and fearful.

Then there's this scene as well which supports this idea:

    夕暮れ時に海岸を見つめるヴェン。
Ven stares at the shore as the sun sets.

    うつむき加減で、少しくらい表情のヴェン。
He is looking downward with a despondent expression.

    「『友達』だから頼みたいんだ、俺を、消してくれ」
We're "friends", therefore I wanted to ask something. Erase me.

    ラスト、羅列ですが…
    It's the last scene…

And perhaps that's the reason why no one remembers Ven. They would have said something when they saw Roxas. I've also been wondering why King Mickey, since he obviously knows who Master Xehanort was, didn't freak out when he met ATW's apprentice, Xehanort, or not even remember VAT at all!

"Damnatio memorie" is just an idea folks. No theory here.

As I said, Terra was probably trying to distract Xehanort from attacking Aqua and Ven. If he was really a big careless brute he wouldn't of even tried to fight for them. It looks like Xehanort is after Terra and not Ven or Aqua, and Terra probably wanted to keep it that way. In other words, a sacrifice.
And also as I said, Ven is immature in the respect that he probably does not have much experience. That's probably why Terra stopped him from fighting Xehanort in the beginning. Also if you notice, he does not fight much in the Secret Ending. He does a little, but not very much. Aqua and especially Terra did most of the fighting.
Listen, the idea of TerraXAqua IS NOT SET IN STONE! No one knows yet!
Maybe this will help me understand where you are getting at: In what way is VenXAqua evident? I want to hear a good counter argument, so please don't hold back. :)

:O You know on some fanart/fanfiction sites they are already doing that pairing.... amongst others. *disturbed* That would be hilarious though if that really was the case. XD

I was saying before that she may have not looked older, even though she does to me, but she is definitely more mature than Ven. Usually that comes with age.

  12. twilightsbringing
True very true, it is quite possible. But the idea that people wait till it comes out is NOT going to happen. People before me have already discussed bits and pieces of this subject. Sorry.

I am not talking about how she looks, it's how she acts. She is much more mature than Ven, and that is a big hint. Ven acts immature in the secret ending, in the respect that he is unexperienced and young. THAT'S what I am talking about. Not so much looks, but maturity. That's why I talked about Sora being "10-years-to-early" to be wielding a keyblade, Hexin. I think one of BBS' themes will be youth vs. maturity, do to the whole "Keyblade Master" thing.
I don't think people give enough credit to Terra in the secret ending. He stops Ven from immaturely rushing to attack Xehanort, then he get's hit with a thunder spell, then is hit several times with the keystorm, thrown to the ground several times as well, then has his arm frozen solid, and all that time trying to keep Xehanort distracted from attacking Aqua and Ven. GIVE HIM A BREAK!!!!
Post by: twilightsbringing, Apr 28, 2008 in forum: Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 ReMIX
  13. twilightsbringing
Yes, but it was also Aqua who saved Terra from the keystorm. Plus, when she is hit by the keystorm, Terra looks down to see if she's okay, but is immediately pummeled by that same keystorm afterwards. But hey, they could just all be friends! :P And VenXAqua is NOT necessarily far-fetched. I just don't think so do to the age differences. And I am obviously NOT "confirming" anything. I was very cautious not to say that this was fact. I do not condemn the idea of VenXAqua to death, I just don't agree with it and I am explaining why.
Also, this may just be coincidence and have no significance whatsoever, but when Aqua sends the reflect spell up to Terra, this is what it looks like:
    http://kh-3.net/images/view/1890/
You would think the spell would go to his heart, but it didn't. By the way, kh-3.net is a great site for KH2FM Secret Ending pictures if you are interested. You will notice a lot more. I sure did.

    Yeah... probably. *coughXemnascough*
Anyway, Nomura stated that not all of the three characters are connected to SRK. It was one of the recent interviews but I forget which one. Refer to the news section if you are curious. My guess is that Aqua's the different one, since Ven looks like Roxas who is connected to Sora, and Terra looks like Xemnas who is connected to his Heartless, Ansem, who literally possessed and lurked in Riku's heart. (phew!) Aqua does have a slight resemblance to Kairi, but Namine is much closer (whom I think will have her own separate character in BBS).

    Very likely. But who knows.

  15. twilightsbringing
Some people think it's going to be VenXAqua, but I don't know...
Terra and Aqua seem to be much older than Ven. In the KH2FM secret ending, Ven seems a little immature, not in the sense that he's a brat, but in the sense that he is young and has little experience. Meanwhile, Terra and Aqua seem to know what they are doing. In a KH2FM cutscene, Xaldin refers to Sora as being ten-years-too-early to be wielding a keyblade. Who knows what that means but I hope that point is clear.
So, yes, I think Ven is too young to be with Aqua.
Why I think she is with Terra, is because of her armor being in Xemnas' room of sleep. (Wow, I just realized how wrong that sounds XD) Seriously though, I am going with the idea that Xemnas is Terra's nobody and not ATW's apprentice's, Xehanort. (I am still working on that theory so hang tight)
Here's a good counter argument: If Ven is connected to Sora somehow, and Aqua is connected to Kairi, wouldn't it be obvious? Weeeeellll, maybe, but remember what Riku said before the race in KH1?
Sora: If I win, then...uh... I can be captain. And if you win.... eh...
Riku: I get to share the pauopu with Kairi.
    Sora: WHAT!?!
Riku: Agreed? Winner gets to share a pauopu with Kairi.
    >3< Cute scene! Anyway, this is why I can't be sure. However, I don't think TerraXAqua is far-fetched. But for all we know at the moment, there could be no relationships at all!
    What do you guys think?

Final Note: For those of you who think it'll be TerraXVen, no, just no.

They are probably written in hiragana, katakana, and kanji, but no romaji. Romaji is used to spell out Japanese words in the English alphabet. Hiragana is used for Japanese words, katakana is used for English words, and kanji are symbols used to represent words or phrases. There is about 2,000 kanji so happy studying! >.<

I am posting it in the Upcoming Kingdom Hearts section because I think the new games should count as well. Some folks don't seem to understand why us fans are so excited for the new games, like this kid here: http://forums.khinsider.com/future-kingdom-hearts/104717-does-kingdom-hearts-suck.html
And people wonder why KH2 Final Mix+ never came outside of Japan. Sheesh! That's why I think that this is important.
    So I'll start:
    • I like the overall story. It is entertaining, and most of all it's fairly lighthearted. It's not dark or violent. It's just right. (I feel like GoldyLocks XD)
    • As a girl, I don't really like seeing female characters wearing, er how should I say, PRACTICALLY NOTHING! Although some people might say KH2 Kairi's dress is rather short, it really is not bad compared to, let's say, Dead or Alive characters. (seriously)
    • DISNEY CHARACTERS!!!! 8D That's how I came to first play Kingdom Hearts. My cousins recommended it to me because they knew I liked Disney. Kudos cousins! >3<
    • Organization 13: seriously, that bunch is the best group of villians (or are they?) that I have ever seen in a video game...beside Sephiroth. He's pretty kick-ass, too.
    • I haven't the time to play super-long epic games like the Final Fantasy series, so I am thankfull for the apperances of some of the characters in the KH series.
    • I like the overall gameplay. I happen to SUCK at playing any video games. The gameplay in KH is very easy to understand, and it isn't so hard that nOObs like me can't beat it. YAY!
    • The voice acting, especially in KH2, is PHENOMINAL for a video game. Most of the other video games that I have played have really crappy voice acting.
    • The original characters, like Sora, Kairi, Riku, Org.13, etc., are great. Tetsuya Nomura did a wonderfull job with their creation, and I can't wait to see what the new characters are like!
    • The music is absolutely beautiful! Shimomura does a wonderfull job with composing the music. Though I do wish she would use some more Disney songs for the worlds' music.
    Wow, long list! ^^; Sorry.
Anyway, what do you guys think? And please don't be shy to share what you don't like, too! There's always at least two sides to everything.
    ENJOY THIS HAPPY THREAD!!!!!!! :P
.........and please don't be mean. :nono:
