We're already switching to Ethanol, peeps... Several states have been putting ethanol stations up, and it's already been in use for over 10 years. That, and electricity. Hybrids are actually becoming somewhat affordable. Oil won't run out completely for a long while, considering we still have places in Alaska which are completely untapped. I think we'll be alright, especially if electricity and ethanol continue to grow as they already are. Mind you, I have no idea what other countries are doing. I just know it costs about 4 USD more to buy a gallon's worth of gas in most parts of Europe. xD

Hmmm... I notice people bring up the part about miscommunication. I can greatly understand that, but I also know a very simple solution; roleplay. I don't mean one person takes on the role of a knight and the other a princess, I mean emoting what you say. Like, instead of saying " you suck! " say " -jokingly- You suck! " It makes the saying much less hurtful and the person understands what you mean. Also, the whole idea that people cannot visit their online or long distance loves is rather weak... When I was 14 my stepmother drove me 11 hours to see a girl I'd been in a relationship with online. That was before I ever had a job or a car or could support myself enough to take a trip. Roadtripping to see someone is not as difficult as people make it seem, hell it can be rather fun. Just treat it as a vacation. You have the time, we all have the time, you just have to have the endurance and not be lazy about it. Take it seriously and it'll work... I know, I'm probly contradicting myself since I originally said relationships suck, but... Hey, just because -mine- suck doesn't mean yours will. xD

Good luck making a body part that can be preserved. Honestly, I don't believe a single limb will ever be able to be effectively preserved for more than maybe a week. They'd have to make the body part and then IMMEDIATELY replace it before patient died. To me, this debate is the sole moral of the movie, The Island, in which a company makes clones of people for the sole purpose of replacing body parts. Problem is, the clones are completely conscious and aware of their surroundings. I think that's what it will come down to with genetic engineering, assuming we pursue a path of cloning. I think we should just stick to curing things, not preventing them and not creating them... Messing with babies, to me, is just as bad as trying to make clones.
Abortion and the Death Penalty have little to do with eachother. Any attempt at making a connection is futile, they're completely different topics.
