Air would be able to control anything except earth. Even water has oxygen and other air molecules in it. So earth would be the only thing capable of at least keeping up to par. =P
I would want to control the air. >.> You could easily remove all the oxygen around a person's body and suffocate them. Plus, fire would be useless because it needs oxygen to burn. ;D
Personally, I am a christian. Most of my gamer friends believe in some form of a God. I have one friend who is Buddhist, another that firmly believes in the greek gods and goddesses. Hardly any of my friends are atheist. So I'll say that's false. Also, video games, if anything, increase my faith. You will play a game where there is a priest, who can ressurect people and perform miracles. Religion. You can play a game where several characters pray to the Gods for strength. Religion. MOST roleplaying games are the same way; they have some form of a god in them. Hell, even Age of Empires does, with their monks being able to heal units. Few games that I play lack religion or say that religion doesn't exist.
To fully understand Christianity(since I assume you were talking about the Christian God) you would have to read the bible. But I -can- illuminate a little bit of what you wondered. Firstly, the idea of there being a God is that he is the ultimate and supreme being. He is existance, he is the world, the universe, everything. Nothing created him because he has always been. There's really no way for us to understand it, we can really only accept it as truth. That's where the whole faith thing comes into play. Secondly, the reason the world isn't a peaceful planet is because of Adam and Eve. They essentially created sins, and therefore created anger and lust and pride. By eating of the tree, they gained all the knowledge of the tree, and it's often said that knowledge is the enemy of faith. When God found out, he punished them by removing them from paradise and forcing them to work, and wear clothing, do all the things we do in order to survive. If not for Adam and Eve, the human race would still be in paradise. But you can't blame them; they're only human. Note: I'm not saying this is the way it is and that there is no other right answer. I'm saying this is what the bible says and is what I believe.
The big bang theory is also the most controversial in science, and there are many variations of it. It's just as bad as religion.
It hardly matters what his race is, that has nothing to do with any of this. I'm actually surprised South Korea felt the need to appologize and give condolensces on behalf of this guy. *That* is very sad, to me... This may be disgusting but it's hardly a surprise. You may all think that he had no reason to kill, and that may be true, but this world is becoming more and more cruel to alot of people. It's harder to get help, even if you ask for it. The whole saying " ask and ye shall receive " is no longer true. I'll bet this guy was looking for help for a long time before this, and he never got it. The teachers say he was "disturbing" and that his writing suggested homicidal/suicidal tendencies. Why didn't they do anything about it? Why didn't they call in a psychiatrist? Because they didn't care. They didn't want to help him because it was out of their way. And this is what they got. Yes, my views are pretty cruel, but this world is also becoming more cruel. That's the sad reality of it all.
When I said science I wasn't talking about the big bang theory... In fact I never mentioned it. >.>
In my opinion, there has to be *some* form of a "god" that created either us, or the process of life. Science just doesn't cut it, for me. According to science and all these big bang theories, there was no beginning. Matter has always been matter and has always existed, forever and eternity, all that jazz. I am sure all of you would agree that the universe seems to be expanding. That's what we've been taught and what scientists believe. Tell me this; if the universe has always been expanding, where did it start off in the first place? If you reverse time, the universe would have at one point been a single point in space. It would not have been a universe at all. Therefore, it occurs to me that science can't explain how the universe was created; but religion can. Scientifically, if the universe has been around forever, there'd be no more hydrogen. All the vast amount of stars would have used it all up long, long ago. If you're using science to explain creation, then you must be contradicting yourself. According to scientists, matter cannot be created from nothing. But according to the scientific explanation of creation, that would have had to happen. So logically, you're disproving yourselves. Now, with a God, yes there are many flaws and many unexplained, unprovable things. But it remains the most logical answer. What else could have created our beginning than a being of a higher existance than ourselves? Now, I'm not saying the Christian God is the right one and I'm not saying any religion is right, but I think they're on the right track, and the most logical one. Discuss! xD
Took the words right outta my mouth. I DON'T PLAY KH TO SEE DEATH! Then again, maybe he's not dead! OOOO SPECULATION! I still hate Roxas. ;D
Awww, Jade, you didn't tell me I had to celebrate Roxas! I don't even like Roxas. xD
The whole problem with the "Riku never lost his heart thing" is, he DID lose his heart. When he gave into the darkness and turned into that "other" Riku in the first game, he lost it, if only for a while. Which in turn could have created a nobody. Sora is the perfect example... Sora has a nobody, and yet is still alive. Why? Because he had lost his heart, I assume, when Namine had to pretty much erase him. Thus creating a nobody... But then Sora was brought back, and so both his Nobody and him coexist. Same could be said about Riku. But, I don't think it's Axel. >.> I dunno who it would be, but I imagine they would look alike if they were a part of eachother.
Deffinately Goofy. Donald is really annoying.
There's no harm in believing them. Quite honestly, we don't know if they're true until it happens. Guess we'll just have to wait 'till this fall. ;P
If by nothing better you mean nothing but being able to eat anything and everything! AND Gluttony -totally- loved Lust, in that dog-master kinda way. He was so completely loyal, to the end!
Gluttony all the way, babeh.
Okay, so there's this animated film I watched a while back that I hugely enjoyed, and now I can't seem to remember the name. But I think it starts with a "K"... Anyway. It's actually a couple or three OVA's that they combined into one to make a movie, but the movie is in 2 parts. I believe the 2nd part either just came out or is coming out soon. I do know that it's about this guy who wakes up to realize he's been chosen to be this sort of protector of a certain town. These protectors(I don't remember what they're called, seeing as it's the name of the movie itself) have a partner, always female, that allows the protectors to take a certain form, which has a variety of majorly awesome abilities. I know they can like transform, sorta like transformers, into a plane form and a car form(loosely...)... And I know that these protectors are numerous and each one has dominion over a certain region. That's pretty much it... I'd really appreciate any help in figuring out the name of this damn movie. >.<
The series made me cry on a couple episodes. Yes, cry.
I feel old... You all look so young. xD
