It would be a good fight, thats for sure. Both Xemnas and Marluxia have several forms (Xemans has five if you count his normal, outside of kingdom hearts form, and Marluxia has three.) While Marluxia would most likely be able to force Xemnas into final form, I don't think he would be able to win. But it would still be a good fight to see.
While it true that Sora has to be strong to be able to wield the keyblade, it seems like everyone forgets that Riku was going to be the keyblade wielder at first, not Sora. Sora got the keyblade once Riku feel to darkness. One of the reasons that I think Riku is stronger then Sora is becuase that Riku can defeat "Ansem" with a non keyblade weapon, the soul eater. Now, I know that it's true that real power dosn't come from a weapon, but good weapon can make thing so much easier. Most of the members of XIII are really powerful, yet Riku was able to beat #4, #5, #6, the Riku clone, and "Ansem" with the Soul Eater. Tell me, if Sora was using one of the only non keyblade weapons he used, the struggle bat and toy sword, would he have been able to scratch any members of XIII? No. He would have been beat into the ground winthin half a minute of battle, simple because his weapon wasn't strong enough to do any damage. (I know that Sora can use a lot of magic, but he runns out some time, and then hes in real trouble.) Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that Riku has showen that he can fight without a keyblade, or anyone to help him (like Beast) and still beat some very powerful people.
Xemnas has the edge in defense, while Seph has the edge in speed. They can each launch long, multi-hit combos with there sword/energy beam weapon. They can both use dark portalls to move around the feild. They both have ranged, energy based weapons that can hit you from all sides. And they both have high power final attacks that wouldn't do any good because the other person would be able to use a dark cordor to avoid it. ...I'm starting to think that they would just kill each other. (Or they would both be knocked out at the same time.)
That some what puts Xemnas on the loseing end of the battle, dosen't it? I mean in the game you have to fight him 5 times, once out of kingdom hearts and then 4 times in kingdom hearts. But out of all those fights, only in the first and the last forms/fight could Xemnas stand up to Seph. The others he's either just sits in a chair and attacks from long range, or is in some sort of bug metal dragon. In any of those three forms, Seph wouldn't have much trouble beating him, if nothing else, due to Xemnas's lack of movement. So the only way for Xemnas to fight him on even ground is to start off normal form, and when Seph gets to the point that Xemnas is being overpowered without much trouble, switch to final form. And you've got a point when it comes to Seph's speed. So if you think about it, both Xemnas's and Seph's final/most powerful/coolest attacks would do much in the fight since both could avoid the others with out problem.
Also, about the "Sora never being angery" thing, its so true. Like when Mickey more or less said he knew where Riku was, but wouldn't tell Sora where, did Sora get mad? No, he just went semi-emo for about five seconds, and was then back to normal. (If it were me, I would have taken my keyblade and beat the answers out of the little mouse, but thats just me.)
You know, the only way I think this could ever be setteled is if there was some code that had made Computer Sephiroth and Computer Xemnas fight each other untill one of them was beaten. But since there is little chance of that happening, I guess this topic continues.... Anyway, at first I thought Sephiroth would win, since everyone that has played FF7 or watched FF7:AC has seen how much power Seph has. And while he's still more powerful then 98% of the people in Kingdom Hearts (I or II) you have to look at it like this: Xemnas's final form can move near the same speed as Seph, taking away one of his biggest advantages. Next, Xemnas has a lot of diffrent attacks, not just sword attacks and a few magic attacks. And while both Xemnas and Seph have a really strong finall attack (The one where lasers come from all sides, and the one where those fire balls rain from the sky), however Speh's is fairly easy to aviod. So heres what I think now: Xemnas would win in his final form, but if he didn't have the power of kingdom hearts, and fought like he did the first time he fought Sora, then I say Seph would win.
This s a hard qeustion to answer, since both Sora and Riku are really strong. So the only way I can gove an answer is by looking over each charecters history in battle. While Sora is strong, it seems like he almost never fights anyone by himself. So if you take away everyone helping Sora, you'll find that he can't use his strongest attacks. While there are a few battles he fights himself, such as Xehanort's heartless, out of the that eniter battle, their are only a couple parts were Sora has to get into a really hard fight himself. Now for Riku. It's clear he's strong, but the thing that is diffrent between him and Sora is that Riku fights most of his battles alone. If you think about it, the strongest person that Sora had to face alone was Xehanort's heartless, but Riku also faced him alone. Riku also faced No. 5 of the XIII (who's name I can't remember at this time) and destroyed the Riku clone. Now add in the fact that the only reason that Riku had to become "Ansem" was because he stabbed the Oblivion Keyblade into the ground by Roaxs's head, and didn't summon his own Keyblade.(or was it still just the Soul Eater at that time?) Then, even when Roaxs had two weapons, the only time he get's a real hit, you can just barrly see that Riku uses his dark sheild to block it. (at lest I saw that, don't know if anyone else did.) Then, as several people mentiioned before, Riku was willing to go to the depths of darkness because he though that it would help Sora and Kairi. And lets not forget that if it wasn't for Riku, Xemnas would have cut Sora's head off. So, I have to say that I think Riku is better.
Why even bother putting up the poll? Just about everyone knows that Sephiroth would most likly kill Xemnas with in the first three attacks.
Really, I like all of the idea's, other then the fighting game and the one were Sora never went nack to being Sora. Having Riku's story through KH1 would help fill in some gaps in his story. But really, having the story of Mickey in KH1 would most likely be the best option, in my mind anyway. Since he gets very little screen time in either game, and he seems to know the most about whats always happing. That and I would like to see him get his Keyblade, and learn it's name.
I have to go with Valor. It's the first one you get, easy to level up, has tons of power. Also, and this might just be me, but since it only needs Goofy, you still have another person there to help you fight, while at the same time you have more power then you would in Wisdom, when it comes to raw attack power.
...I'm really starting to hate how there are never any answers. So, first Xigbar is just someone who barrly gets any screen time, and now he seem's to know a lot more then everyone else in XIII, other then Xemnas of course. I'm still going with my first guess that the bald guy was Xehanort, before he lost his memory. But, I still don't get why all of the knights look like someone else from the game. (Such as Ven looking like Roxas, Aqua looks somewhat like a female Riku, or Zexion, and then last one looks like number 5 of the XIII.) Anyway, thaks Xaldin.
