I like the KH2 version because compared to the KH1, it didn't feel like it took forever to grind for the item.
It depends. I've never been a fan of expansion packs or paid DLC; they're right up there with monthly fees on my list of things I wish developers wouldn't do. Far too many developers take out portions of the game, only to re-add them separately as paid dlc. If it's truly new content, like an extra post-game dungeon or something, I can live with that. If it's free dlc, great; if it's free AND optional, even better. Skins, fine (I wouldn't use them), but things like new enemies, or weapons... Hopefully no. I don't want to see a situation where Square would lock out content for the sake of making more money.
So just to clarify, are the blinking problems for the low-poly faces fixed?

I actually went ahead and asked the guy who sent me the Org's English lines about those lines you're missing; and he said that he was lucky to even get the ones he had. Here's a direct quote: I'm compressing the files that I do have into a rar right now and will be uploading them soon. It includes the Re:CoM battle lines for Ansem, Repliku (for good measure I guess, don't know why he sent that along), Axel, Larxene, Lexaeus, Marluxia, Vexen and Zexion. Also included are the absent silhouette's default audio (in .wav form), and a third folder called "J to E" where I tried to match the Silhouette's Japanese audio with the Re:CoM's English audio. I actually have the wav files already, but not the file(s?) they were extracted from. I know someone on Youtube who got the audio, and (s)he sent them to me.They're all sitting together in a folder, but that's really all they're doing. Some are sorted, some not; but they're all there (with the possible exception being a single grunting noise Larxene makes). (And the Tarzan/Beast thing is also because I really have a soft spot for the Tarzan movie.)
Seems fairly easy to mess up, lol. I think for practice should make Donald call Beast "Tarzan" or something equally simple. (As I typed this I had the idea of replacing Beast's moveset and model with Tarzan's so that, in theory, Tarzan SHOULD be the one in HB... Right?) If I can figure this out then hopefully my idea of giving the Absent Silhouette's their English Re:CoM voices can actually happen. :O O_O Oh shi--- ANYWAY, right now I'm getting the Re:CoM/KH2 textures for the Final Fantasy characters that appear in KH1. All of them have similar models except for Sephiroth (who could probably get a face change at most) and Cloud (two totally different looking models with similar enough faces). Later on tonight, after Adventure Time, I'm gonna see if I can get the Disney characters (Simba/Beast/Peter Pan/etc) and their textures as well. I also snagged the textures for Donald and Goofy's basic weapons and the Oathkeeper and Oblivion from KH2.
Since everyone else seems to have covered the obvious suspects, I'm going throw in my own two cents. Despite the fact that I loathe Agrabah with a passion now, Square has one final legitimate excuse to return us there; there's still one Aladdin movie un-visited, "Aladdin and the King of Thieves". If Square were to, for whatever God-awful reason, want to go back to Agrabah again, I feel that we could expect a fight with either Cassim (Aladdin's father) or Sa'Luk, the big-bad of that movie. I don't have any proof that Square will want to go back to that world again, but we've been there dozens of times before and I can imagine having one last hurrah there before we finally say goodbye forever. The Xehanort fights are pretty much promised, Malificent and Pete seem to be up to SOMETHING that Sora & crew will have to sort out eventually... Other than that, I'm pretty up in the air. EDIT: Upon remembering that Jafar supposedly has a twin sister and that Aladdin itself had an entire spinoff show, full of villains and boss possibilities, I feel like I may have just found Pandora's box.
I too would like to see how they have changed over the years. Hopefully they're better fighters than they were on that beach so many years ago. But then again, I also would like to see the other minor FF characters a bit more often (Seifer, Setzer, etc); Final Fantasy characters have been a bit absent in recent games.
Ironically enough, I don't mind Epcar's voice in BBS for Terranort; the only thing really cringe worthy about it is his rendition of the "All worlds in darkness" speech. How hard is it to edit the audio files, anyway? I have an idea for KH2:FM that I didn't think was really possible until I saw something similar done for KH1.
Sorry for the bump, but it's relevant and specific to the topic. Is there some sort of voodoo magic that I have to cast on the US version of BBS to get the modding station to extract all the files? The only .dat file it seems to load is 0, and even then, it says that it's from the Final Mix version of the game. My first thought was that the other dat files were encrypted, but the dnas_decrypter doesn't seem to want to do it's job. I'm in the process of trying to replace the Final Mix-specific versions of the Unversed with their internation-specific skins (Flood being blue instead of purple, etc) but after diving through the extracted files I'm still missing 11 unversed skins. I so wish we had a way to just drop a new model in over a new one. Looking at Darkside's KH1/BBS textures is insane. While the models are near identical their textures are just so different...
By "about the HP/MP" bars do you mean scaling them or doing something with those dashes I don't remember being there?
