I honestly wouldn't mind seeing all of them. Even the organization members that aren't listed. An organization game (though I doubt it would be done) solely based on how they were as somebodies would be so interesting.
Title really explains it all. Anybody here play, used to play, or even want to play League of Legends? If so, what's your preferred champion?
Tales of Symphonia is a must play in general. I never was a fan of RPGs, but after Symphonia, I was hooked. Tales of Graces also had a good plot to it.
Originals are usually better because well... they're originals. The song is meant to be more emotional and better sounding especially because Disney movie-singers are chosen if they have a slight Broadway musical sound to them. Pop covers just try to appeal to the masses, therefore, they're more generic and regulated. There's apparently some unwritten rule in the American music industry where original soundtracks don't belong on the radio. I've never once heard a song from a soundtrack on the mainstream radio unless the song was made before the movie, or a pop artist was covering it. Personally, I feel the original Disney movie songs are better because they have the context of the emotions the character's going through at that point in the movie. It's more emotionally appealing. I mean, they call it covers because there's no depth behind them right? No real experience, emotion, story behind copying a song. Not saying covers are bad, but yeahh..
Are we including Vader's experiences as Anakin as well, or just Vader from the original trilogy?
Think of how American movies are similar. There's always the wise teacher/father figure/God figure, the hero that has to overcome problems on his own, the heroine that's mainly there for the love interest, the villain whose main interest is power over people etc. Superhero movies are a good example of this. They all have similar aspects. It has to do with the culture/history and what typically happens in modern society. Hmm well I'm not sure how accurate that producer's statement is. After all, CoM really stresses Kairi's importance to Sora. Sora still remembers Riku, but by forgetting Kairi, it kind of creates a paradox by making her more important. It's like Sora's forgetting the most important thing to him, what motivates him throughout the series. Also, throughout KHII, Donald/Goofy hint at Sora thinking of Kairi whenever there's some lovey-dovey scene. Plus Kairi and Sora had that special connection through the good luck charm. However, something about KH really stresses the friendship between the guys. It's like Nomura wants tons of yaoi fanfics to be made. There's Sora and Riku's relationship, especially at the end of KHII, when they talk about being with each other forever. You have Roxas and Axel's relationship, where Axel pretty much Spoiler sacrifices himself Roxas I still think the relationship between Kairi and Sora is very important to KH though. She's mainly there for a driving force, and I wouldn't really say she's the Sakura of KH. Sakura goes on about how she wants to help, but can't. Kairi is essentially Zelda as Sora is to Link.
Yeah I don't think he finished Switched. That was like one of my favorite ones too! : (
Marluxia was by far the best in my opinion. He was planning to overthrow Xemnas/the Organization using Sora, and would have done it had Axel and Namine not ruined his plans. Let's be honest, Sora is as naive as a lemming jumping off a cliff. I honestly think Marluxia's on par with Xemnas, but it's hard to compare because Sora beat them in different games, meaning you can't really compare them based off the fights in the games. If it came down to it Marluxia could utilize Sora's power to become stronger than Xemnas and defeat him.
Any type of piano music or a ballad.

Oh well I never played KH3D, so there's my excuse :P lol Hmm interesting, I'll be sure to look for that message when I play it! I'm planning on playing all the games leading up to KH3 just to get a better understanding of the story and messages :P
Especially in Kingdom Hearts 1, I feel like the Kingdom Hearts series is a coming of age story. By this, I'm talking about growing up in general as well as friends. If you notice, Nomura stresses the importance of friendship and love throughout the story. You have Roxas, Axel, and Xion; Riku, Kairi, and Sora; and even Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. I'm sure I'm forgetting others (such as the worlds and whatnot). Now I'll first discuss why I think coming of age is a theme within Kingdom Hearts. Now coming of age is a tricky message to spot within Kingdom Hearts, but I think it's very prominent within KH1 because Nomura makes the characters more like children. The trio of Sora, Riku, and Kairi all want to leave the island to explore the world. However, before they expect to leave, their entire life, symbolized through their island, is swallowed whole. This forces them out into the cold dark world where they're confronted with the idea of fending for themselves. Now I'm sure every KH1 player remembers that Sora's mom calls him down for dinner when the storm outside begins that swallows the island (And don't talk about how it could possibly be his grandma, sister, etc. or I'll hurt you ). Was it really just something Nomura/writers decided just to throw in there? I mean the story could have been the same with or without it. By having Sora's mom call Sora at that EXACT moment, Nomura is showing how Sora is leaving the comfort of his family and home by being forced into the real world. The point KH writers are emphasizing is that the real world just hits you. In Sora's case, completely devastating your home. In real life, you have to get a job, money, insurance, car, etc. and the comfort of your family is THERE, but you're really expected to do it yourself. In reality, people can grow up well if they have good influences or they can grow up bad if they have terrible influences, right? Well this is seen through Sora and Riku. When first entering "the real world" Sora is able to make friends by meeting Donald and Goofy. Donald and Goofy are obviously meant to be the good influence, meanwhile Riku meets a bad influence when entering the real world, Maleficent. Now bringing in the other theme that "everybody has darkness in their heart", bad influences can draw that darkness out, or the good influences can oust it. Riku and Sora both worked towards the same goal, to save Kairi, but they had different methods of accomplishing their goal due to their different influences. Another common theme the writers show is the importance of friends in life. At the end of KH1, Sora ends up Spoiler essentially killing himself for Kairi . Through this, the writers are simply saying that friendship is extremely important, enough to die for (figuratively). In Kingdom Hearts 2, Axel also ends up Spoiler sacrificing himself for Sora because he knows Sora's Nobody is Roxas; this also stresses the importance of friendship theme. Donald, Goofy, and Sora also show that friends can always overcome hardships, the darkness symbolizing hardships. 358/2 Days really strengthens that there's some type of theme about friendship as well. There are tons of examples of friendship that you could find involving the various trios, and even Mickey/Riku. If I listed all of them then I might as well open up a wiki page. The final theme I feel like listing which has a lesser but still important role is the idea of hearts. The heart is supposed to represent strength and the ultimate power. Sora is only so powerful because his heart is strong. His compassion is what motivates him because he sincerely cares about his friends. If you love something, you're going to do whatever you want to get it, and in this case, it's Sora protecting his friends. Xemnas and the Organization are pursuing Kingdom Hearts because they want hearts of their own. Realizing the power of the heart, they believe the heart can help them in their evil doings through its unlimited power. However, they fail to realize that the heart is a more complex being than just simply being able to obtain one and use it. In 358/2 Days, Saix tells Axel to stop pretending he has a heart due to him having a friendship with Roxas. Axel also asks Roxas if he really doesn't have a heart because Roxas had been showing a lot of compassion and emotion. I really think that Axel and Roxas had "hearts" despite being Nobodies. Is a heart really something that is tangible? Do you really have to physically have a heart to feel compassion, friendship, and love? The Kingdom Hearts series isn't over so this whole heart dilemma could be solved then, but with the details I'm provided with I think KH is saying you don't need to physically have a heart to feel emotion. If you don't need a heart, then what dictates whether or not you can feel emotion? This is a question I have based off of my own presumptions, so if anybody agrees with what I've said and can throw around some ideas then that'd be awesome. Now I haven't played Birth By Sleep, Dream Drop Distance, or coded so I can't tell you much about how they incorporate into the various themes. However, I feel these three themes are the core messages the Kingdom Hearts series really emphasizes.
The only things I can really make out are "Oh ____ fellers". Maybe it's just gibberish and the KH staff thought that nobody really would notice because Goofy already talks weird anyway
Well I didn't post as much because I was a little kid that was new to the internet (meaning I had no idea how it worked). But thanks! xD
Something about his regular/default KHII form is just awesome. I think it's the yellow and black combination that makes it look cool to me. I never liked his red, white and blue island form because it always looked huge on him, like his parents got it so that he could grow into it.
Well I didn't really mean a "rule" as in some legal problem. I obviously said "Disney-Pixar", implying the ownership Disney has over Pixar. As for not including certain worlds in regards to "animation", I'd disagree. KH Staff did Pirates of the Caribbean and Tron didn't they? Sure the novelty dropped for Nightmare Before Christmas, but I still think the themes of that movie really mesh well with the Kingdom Hearts themes. After all, it's not entirely about how the game looks, but how the characters interact and develop Sora/each other to reach a satisfying end product.
I'm not sure what the whole rule on Disney-Pixar movies is, but I think UP would be an interesting concept to incorporate into Kingdom Hearts. I could totally Charles F. Muntz commanding a bunch of heartless-dogs
Thanks for the welcomes everyone! I just realized how lame I was at picking usernames back in 2009
So I've had this account since 2009, but completely forgot about it due to school and whatnot. With the announcement of KH3 a little bit ago, I remembered I hadn't visited this forum in a while. I originally came here due to some awesome fanfictions by Destiny's Force I was reading, but anyway. Hi
I was reading this and I decided to join the forum because this story has got me hooked! This story is awesome! Could you please continue it? I am really excited and want to find out what happens next!! Awesome story! Keep up the good work!
