Well it's not like I would be geting the PS4 strictly for KH III. I have plenty of other games I'm interested that are/will only be available on the PS4. It's a tough debate.

Might go with a new PC though, as most people I ask are suggesting.

So with KH IV coming out, I feel obligated to get a PS4, but I also need a new computer since the one I have now is just some netbook that can't run anything. Which of the two should I get? (and what would be the advantages of having the one)

He's really hit rock bottom as far as his career is concerned.

If you think about it though, back when he first debuted, he wasn't really like this. If he hadn't received so much hate over something he couldn't control, who knows if things could have been different? He got boo'ed at a lot of concerts and everywhere he went for really no reason. That's bound to take a toll on people. Just look at other stars that have been excessively scrutinized for years. Of course, now there's a reason to insult him, but what occurred here was basically confirmation bias. Confirmation bias is used throughout the field of psychology. It's basically someone (particularly media) that persists on finding information that can be used against said person to confirm previous beliefs. These beliefs are usually false to begin with. An example would be how the media constantly looks for something wrong Bieber has done, and when he finally does something wrong the media says: "See! We were right! We told you! Justin's such a dbag, and we've known it all along!"

Everyone thinks Bieber brought this upon himself, but really, Bieber's whole career has just been one big incident of bullying. It has really shown what happens when a majority constantly bashes a person for something they can't control. It may not seem like much, but to celebrities it's a huge weight on their shoulders. Being a celebrity means you have thousands, no, millions of people watching your every move. In Bieber's case, millions of people insulting and criticizing his every move.

Vanitas seems like a pretty powerful character and I feel as though his fights kind of underrate him. He can use a keyblade and magic well. Along with these abilities, he can teleport and do all kinds of flips as well as run at super speed. Plus, after battles, he appears to not even be hurt. He jumps up really quickly and then just goes off.

    Like here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=AlDdEj8XozU#t=6584

The whole Unversed summoning thing is one of the main reasons as to why he's so powerful. I think it took Mickey and Ventus to take him down as well.

I might as well do Aqua now.
    4.) Aqua

First of all, she's more than capable of wielding a keyblade as seen at the beginning of Birth By Sleep when she was on par with Terra. She's a lot more faster than Terra too, making it harder for opponents to hit her. She's beat Braig and Vanitas, two exceptional fighters in BBS. Her arsenal also now consists of Eraqus' keyblade which she used to spawn Castle Oblivion. Her magic skills with a keyblade are really well-rounded. Aqua's fire and thunder spells have a slight variation compared to other magic keyblade users and she's able to use "Reflect" on herself and others to protect every angle.

Now the reason I'd say she's above people like Marluxia and Roxas is mostly because of her ability to fight against the Vanitas-Ventus keyblade hybrid.
She destroyed that ultimate keyblade thing while also saving Ventus' heart.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=AlDdEj8XozU#t=7865 This is the scene I'm talking about.

That spark of power she got from her charm gave her the strength to defeat the Keyblade.

Inspired by the "Top 10 strongest Kh characters" post, this thread is about who you think the weakest characters. Please don't list characters like Belle, Piglet, or Queen Minnie because they never actually fight. I'm talking about characters that have actually fought in the games like if you think Demyx or Pete are weak. Characters that you either fight with or fight against.

    SPOILERS IN THIS POST

It's very hard to rank Kingdom Hearts characters because they all have so much plot armor. I'm going to exclude Final Fantasy characters for the sake of ease and I'm also going to do 5 because 10 is a lot. I may edit it later on to include 10. I'm also going to go off physical/magical strength, not like how pure someone's heart is and stuff. Sora's an automatic out for me. He's obviously number 1 because he's the main character, so it's kind of expected.

    5.) Marluxia
Though this goes against the common video game idea that chronology determines strength, Marluxia appears to be one of the more underrated characters in the Kingdom Hearts series because he was defeated early in the game.

Marluxia exemplifies a lot of good qualities such as mastermind planning. He created a plan to take over the Organization which started with Sora; however, many mishaps led him to fail. Similar to Bleach's Byakuya's Zenbonsakura Kageyoshi, Marluxia can duplicate flower petals and send them rushing towards his opponent. He's also shown ability to teleport around when in battle. He has an abundance of powerful moves and even has a final form parallel to Ansem Seeker of Darkness' first final form.

    3.) Riku

By far one of the most expected characters to be in the top 5 so I really don't have to go into detail.

    2. Xehanort (Ansem/Xemnas)

I'm kind of including Ansem and Xemnas with Xehanort because they're technically all one person.

Xehanort has such an abundance of abilities in the series. Not only is he a Keyblade Master, but he also has exceptional magic skills. He can use thunder, blizzard, and earth magic against his foes as seen when he froze Ventus and shot those huge earth pillars out of the ground. He's also able to block Braig's arrows without even raising his hands. Let's not forget how he controlled those thousands of keyblades in the Keyblade Graveyard like it was an afterthought.

He also has superb intelligence and planning. A better mastermind than Osama Bin Laden, he planned out Organization XIII and the possession of Riku for 11 years. How could he have possibly known about Riku's involvement without planning ahead? Xehanort also knows a lot about the heart as he was able to manifest the darkness of Ventus' heart into an actual being, Vanitas.

Xehanort's counterparts, Xemnas and Ansem Seeker of Darkness, are both the "final bosses" of KH 1 and 2. Being Xehanort's nobody and heartless, they're really only fragments of Xehanort's real self. In conclusion, they're slightly weaker than the whole, complete, Xehanort.

    1. Terra

One of the reasons I chose Terra is that he' s not really an obvious character for the strongest. Most people would say Riku or Xehanort because those are kind of expected. Terra isn't really an expected choice and that's why I think he's one of the strongest. If that makes sense.

Anyway, Terra has shown many examples of being a powerful character. At the beginning of Birth By Sleep, he's able to hold his own against Aqua and could have become a Keyblade Master; however, Eraqus doesn't like the darkness. The darkness is the main reason Eraqus disapproves of Terra.

Now onto his most infamous battle in the Kingdom Hearts series. Xehanort, being the main antagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series so far, is definitely the strongest of all evil bosses. As said before, both of Xehanort's counterparts (Xemnas and Ansem) are the final bosses to Kingdom Hearts I and II. He also has some of the most complex magic. Terra is able to defeat Xehanort a few times, but is possessed by Xehanort's spirit. Even then, Terra still coexists with Xehanort. Xehanort is the one on the offensive, so if he was stronger, he should have been able to completely eradicate Terra immediately. By being able to hold his own against the main villain of the series so far,Terra radiates a strong character.

Honorable mentions go towards the following:
    6.) Vanitas
    7.) Saix
    8.) Roxas
    9.) Mickey
    10.) Maleficent

Not sure if this thread has been made before, so sorry if it already has and I can't find it..

I think my favorite quote is at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2:
"A heart is so much more than any system" - Ansem The Wise

I really like this quote because I feel like it shows how not everything is systematic and logical in the world. Though, logic is very practical in life, I view abstract/creative/individual thinking as something that can spawn efficient and unique ways of doing things. I also like quotes that are very vague and can be applied to every day thoughts or activies.

So Kingdom Hearts has that reoccurring song "Simple and Clean" by Utada Hikaru. They play it in the credits in many of the games, in the opening cutscene, etc. After finally playing Birth By Sleep I just realized that the lyrics really have no relation to anything in the KH series. Was there something lost in the translation or something? I know the original song is in Japanese, but I don't understand Japanese so yeah..

I'll try to keep this brief because I feel like all my posts on this forum are extremely lengthy. Xemnas would obviously win.

Not only does Xemnas have more of a variety of abilities, but also has more fluidity. Under his armor, Vader is a burnt up old man. His mask has needles that pin into his face which send neural messages to the armor, meanwhile his shoulder plates weigh around 12 kg. This makes it hard for him to move around under his armor. His armor, which is made of durasteel and obsidian, reflects blaster bolts. However, blaster bolts are made of electricity/laser light photons. Xemnas' Ethereal Blades are made of nothingness, therefore making Vader's armor useless. Not only that, but Vader's armor is basically a life support system. Without it he dies so it's as if he's not wearing armor at all. Because of his entire body being burned up, Vader's senses are also severely damaged. This puts him at a severe disadvantage to Xemnas. Vader's spine is also replaced with artificial bones.

Xemnas is able to fly, teleport, and do tons of flips. Facing Vader would be like a monkey against a rock. Xemnas can also drain Vader's energy. Vader won't be able to hold those 12 kg shoulder plates with very little energy. He can also clone himself and significantly outnumber Vader. Compared to Xemnas, Vader's like an AppleBee's waiter or something.

I think a good match up would be Xemnas vs Aizen (from Bleach), or Xemnas vs Sephiroth.

Both of the examples you took of mine, you took completely out of context. Of course if you read them out of context they sound odd.
^That point isn't about whether or not you can see from a specific lens. It's a fact that many people see hope in the Bible, and for some, it has saved their lives.

Nuff said because this forum isn't about debating.

Shellfish caused a lot of health problems/food poisoning because of lack of technology. It was considered a "dirty food" because of this.

A majority of the things in the Bible are very colloquial and people don't take into account the background information. For example, the Bible mentions that slaves should obey their masters. Centuries on centuries ago, slavery was not awful in the documented areas Jesus visited. They were actually given homes, food, water, etc. The common depiction of "slavery" in the modern American's head is the image of the pre-CIvil War "slave". The difference is that American slaveowners were much more harsh than African slave owners.

You know, a lot of religious people are socially persecuted because they're considered annoying for "shouting" their religion. I am Catholic so I may have a bias; however, I feel that many, not all, nonbelievers and atheists do the same. For example, the student body says the pledge at my school every morning. At the part where it says "and to the Republic for which it stands. One nation, under God...", some kid will say loudly "UNDER DEMOCRACY", obviously stressing it beyond need. Then there are some kids that call religious kids idiots just because of their belief. However, the kids that actually follow their religion don't insult someone for their beliefs. Let's take Catholicism for example. One of the core tenets is "Treat your neighbor as you would yourself". If the kid was religious and followed the beliefs of Catholicism, he wouldn't insult someone's belief if he respected his own. However, a secular person would have no restraints except the laws/rules that bound them in the situation they were in. I'm certainly not saying that believers are better than non believers. This is just an observation of mine.

Regarding the image, it is really offensive to a lot of people. I particularly don't care, but there are many people that do and I'm sure that tumblr user knows that (which is why a lot of tumblr people are annoying). Though, I don't like the word "respect" or "disrespect" because you don't have to have respect for everything. Respect is deep admiration for a certain quality something possesses. Like I have respect for Abe Lincoln due to his Emancipation Proclamation which freed all the slaves in the rebel states; however, I don't have respect for someone that is sitting across from me at Burger King simply because it's not a given. People earn respect and so many people automatically assume respect is a given. Anyway, I'm ranting too much.

People are offended by different things. Not everyone views the world from the same lens.

The Bible is not only a scared text, but also a symbol. It's similar to how people get offended when someone burns the American flag. It may not mean much to you, but to some, the Bible has saved their lives and to burn what has saved their lives is extremely disrespectful. The Bible/religion has given many people hope and to burn that is to burn their hope.

First of all, it's pretty much against the law to stone people to death. Why? Because most countries aren't a theocracy. Also, stoning only occurred under specific instances where someone was liable. The most common is Numbers 15:36. Though this form of capital punishment is seen as extremely harsh, the stoning was necessary in this instance due to the man intentionally breaking the Sabbath. If this incident were to be considered negative, the writer would have most likely left it out if it were to make Christianity look bad. However, preceding the verse, it talks about unintentionally sinning and the consequences of it. This apparent paradox is actually a logical statement exemplified in the Bible. I don't want to go too much into depth because it'll just make me feel like I'm defending myself, but I think you have the picture. Jesus has shown many of examples of preventing stoning throughout the Bible. My point is that the example you listed was kind of hypocritical because you cherrypicked a specific example without any context.

I'll admit that many religious people don't really follow their religion and cherry-pick their texts; however, you can't generalize such a specific topic such as "people" since every person is different. Plus, many "secular values" originate from religious beliefs.

So I just finished playing Birth By Sleep after finally getting my hands on it and I saw that Kairi was at Radiant Gardens when Aqua was there. I guess my question is, have any of the games really explained how Kairi came to the islands? Like, actually shown a cutscene or something describing it? The only ones I haven't played are Dream Drop and Coded. So if the answer is in those games, then don't spoil me! :p Also, which game is it in so I can get it?
