Mr. Nobody listened to the loud buzzing that seemed to be coming from overhead. That's when he realized that Jade was right: He had much bigger problems on his hands. Mr. Nobody took off in the direction of the neighborhood drugstore. He suddenly found himself in dire need of a can of spray deodorant and a lighter. The Policeman's machine gun he had strapped across his back would do perfectly fine for the hornets. he hoped he'd make it in time, he thought, almost casually.
Tabris hadn't realy thought about life outside of the sewers before this point. "I suppose you're right. But where are we supposed to go? Where could we possibly go where we wouldn't be under suspicion?
"Same basic idea. Except that it was one person. One insanely powerful hunter who tracked us to our lair and killed us all. I was lucky enough to be out at the time, but when i came back a barely escaped with my life. The one who sired me didn't escape with hers. ANd since then, i've spent three years running away and hiding from vampire hunters who want a crack at the last of the gangrel."
Lights and Sounds- Yellowcard
Mr. Nobody wiped some hornet-mucous off of his mask and trenchcoat, and drew his guns. In about two seconds, he then proceded to unload an entire clip on each of them, killing both of them instantly. He then turned back to jade. "Now then, where were we?" he said, as if nothing had happened.
Mr. Nobody was running through an alleyway when he apparently ran into someone. Before he realized what was happening he was facing a woman who had a gun pointed to his head. DAMN, he thought. i need to pay more attention to where i'm going and not a swarm of mutated bees in a park. "And who might you be?" Mr. Nobody asked awkwardly.
Once it rang with laughter... The worlds almost immediately brought back memories of the sewers where the gangrel had made their home. Selene had mentioned Lestat before. Tabris wondered why he wasn't still around... "What happened to them?" Tabris couldn't help thinking of the saint. And that night...
Tabris shrugged. "I've been on my own for about about three years. I haven't had much time to actually get out and enjoy myself during that time. I haven't been able to do much else but feed and sleep. Plus, i've always been shy."
Mr. Nobody had gotten about three blocks away from the building, and and was about to cut through the park when he heard a buzzing noise. Mr. Nobody peered through the night and realized that the entire park was infested with hornets. This is just not my night, Mr. Nobody thought as he ran the other direction. There was no way in hell he could get through there alive.
Before the war- Helloween
Tabris walked toward the scent. It was getting closer, and it was getting closer fast. It was about then that tabris realized that he didn't feel guilty about killing people. He had to admit, it felt good not havin a concience. After all, he was doing what was necessary to survive. And he had selene to thank for it. If it weren't for this night out with her, tabris would probably still be in his sewer, hiding from the world and all it's pain. "It's getting closer."
You know, Mr. Nobody thought, almost casually, If i didn't know better, i'd say they knew i was going to be here. They're probably still after my *** because of what i did to Crime boss Maroni... Oh well, Mr. Nobody said to himself as he grabbed a police officer and used him as a human shield. Might as well enjoy it. He picked up the police officer's gun and started mowing people down with it. Within a short while, everyone was dead. That meant the SWAT would be on their way soon. Mr. Nobody had to get out of there, and fast. So, he ran.
Mr. Nobody cursed. The police had been busying themselves in the werckage, and were starting to come this way. He didn't know where the woman was, but he was going to hunt her. But first, he was going to have to get away from the police. And so, he ran, only to find that the police were swarming around there, too. To top it all off, they were coming towards him. "It's Fun time," MR. Nobody thought sarcastically as he aimed and pulled the trigger.
Tabris nodded his thanks, and then lifted his nose up and sniffed the air. From the smell, there weren't as many people in the park tonight as usual. The ones that were were all couples. and they were all really young, and probably delicate. However, there was one particularly strong scent. It seemed to be coming towards them. "From the look of it, there's one strong person in this park, and they seem to be coming our way. Shall we meet him?"
Mr. Nobody had been walking into an alleyway when he got that gut feeling. He was being watched. On top of that, the sirens were getting louder and closer. And so, Mr. Nobody continued walking, although at a brisker pace into the alleyway. He had goten about halfway down it when she appeared in front of him. She wore a grey veil on her face, and she had long, menacing claws. As soon as she appeared, Mr. Nobody compulsively put his hands in his pockets, drew his pistols and turned the safety off. It didn't take a genius to figure out who she was and what she had done, so Mr. Nobody got right to the point. "I'll start by saying this probably isn't the best place to do this. The police are on their way. As incompetent as they are, they have numbers and LOTS of weapons." Mr. Nobody listened and heard a whirring noise on top of the sirens. "Sounds like they've even got helicopters. Either way, if they catch us we're both as good as dead. We should probably get out of here, and soon."
The Gemmaine building in Bludhaven had been burned to the ground. To top it all off, a whole bunch of people had been killed by bees. Must just be a lucky day, Mr. Nobody thought grimly. Judging by the nature of the killings, and the fact that normal hornets simply didn't live in bludhaven, Mr. Nobody guessed that they were unconnected. But he didn't have time to think about that, because the sirens were slowly approaching. That meant police. And the police didn't like Mr. Nobody. They thought he was "Disturbing the peace". As mr. Nobody turned and ran into the alley, He couldn't help but smile at how the police spent more time chasing him than most criminals. They hadn't caught him yet, and they wouldn't catch him any time soon.
Mr. Nobody had learned alleyway shortcuts well since he had begun his work. After all, there were some people on the streets at night, and they could get weirded out if a guy with no face randomly walks by. Plus, they were quicker. Within about five minutes, Mr. Nobody had gotten to a building that would normally have taken him about twenty. Unfortunately, it was currently on fire, and there were corpses everywhere. If he hadn't lived in Bludhaven for so long, he would have been shocked that the police hadn't gotten there yet. Of course, he did, so it was simply business as usual for him. That was about when he heard the groaning. "Help me." Mr. Nobody looked at the man on the ground. The man was obviously bleeding to death. Whoever had done this had a mean streak. There was nothing Mr. Nobody could do to save him. So, he simply pulled out a pistol and aimed it at the man's head. "Resquiat", Mr. Nobody said quietly as he pulled the trigger.
... So, what are people doing for spring break?
OOC: Modern time period, fictional city, named Bludhaven. It's supposed to be in america. BTW, i like the idea of putting character flaws as a weakness. I even did it to my character. Good one, jade. :) BIC: Simon had just about gotten to his current "Apartment" when he saw the crimson flames in the sky. It didn't take a detective to figure out something was wrong, so Simon ran to the top of the staircase and began to change. The first thing he always got on was the Black leather gloves and trenchcoat. Then the mask. Simon loved his mask. He had gotten it from the first mob informant he had murdered. When he put it on, it made it look like he had no face. Which was fitting. He had taken his bosses words to heart: he was a nobody, and he had been all his life. And now, the name of Mr. Nobody was feared throughout the criminal underworld and beyond. Simon put some clips on his chest, put his pistols into his pockets, and was on his way.
Mr. Wheeler grinned. "I'd rather be a drug dealer. A thief is just so... petty. What exactly will we be doing?"
