Well, how are we supposed to know? Kingdom Hearts barely focuses on romance. And, of course, if there's an organization with twelve different guys, the yaoi fangirls (and fanguys) are going to jump at it. I don't really care either way. But, you know, Marluxia was originally meant to be a girl, so it's possible.
What? I could have sworn I posted here. I'm not going to be very original here...Axel's death scene. It was a touching one, and I loved that he gave his life for Sora. It sucked that he couldn't have seen Roxas one more time, though.
I don't know. Probably because I saw something in his personality that stood out to me. I liked that he was kind of a villian but you felt pity for him at the same time, since he lost his best friend and never really got to see him again (since Roxas lost his memory). He's not boring. In fact, while playing Re:Chain of Memories I always laugh out loud when he makes his first entrance. Because up until that point, everything was all serious, and then suddenly Axel appears and gives the most cheerful, "Hello!"
Ugh, stereotypes are so annoying. They're a way for people to think they know you before they actually do. Basically, it makes people feel wise about the world and makes them assume they can guess who you are before they know. It doesn't help that movies and television group certain traits with certain "types" of people. You know, always making the blonde ditzy or the cheerleader a whore. Some originality (i.e. realism) would be nice. In reality, nobody falls completely into a stereotype or label. In fact, if I did, I would hate it, because it would mean I was predictable. I care a lot about my grades and get mostly A's, but I also suck at math and listen to alternative music. What label does that fall into? None. Most people don't fall into stereotypes (I don't think I've met anyone who completely has), and that's because most people are actually interesting. I hate when people jump to conclusions because of what someone wears or what their passion is. So, people are saying straight guys can't like to dance? Hispanics can't be intelligent? Mexicans can't be legal immigrants? It makes my blood boil.
I honestly have no idea. Both movies are fantastic in their own way. They've both got great plots, characters, jokes. Toy Story 2 has those "outtakes" at the end, but then the first Toy Story has Sid Phillips. Agh, it's impossible to choose!
Brother Bear was pretty good, but you can't beat Lion King. It was so well done, and it's a movie that I love to pop into the VCR (oh, whoops, I mean DVD player...screw you, technology...) whenever I feel like it. It was even made into a Broadway musical, and a fantastic one at that. It's still going on after twelve years or something.
Have they given out an official release date yet? It's no where to be found on pokemon.com, so I'm guessing not any time soon...
Hm. I think this would take a lot of thought. I'd have to go through the entire game again and see what I didn't like. Maybe I would make the Disney plots more original. I mean, for a lot of the worlds it just seemed like the creators lifted every plot out of its Disney movie counterpart. Some originality is refreshing, and it certainly makes parts of the game less boring and predictable. It was so hard for me to get through Port Royal because scenes literally came directly from the movie.
Lexamus, I know you said that was your last post, but I'm addressing you anyhow. You don't have to respond. The fact that God was going to be brought into this debate was inevitable, because who is the prime group that discriminates against homosexuals? Homophobia is usually associated with hardcore Christians who stand rigidly by the Bible. Of course, I'm not goint to generalize. I believe in God and consider myself Christian (purely because of what the religion is supposed to be about, which is love and forgiveness) and I have a lot of qualms with the Bible. You might have felt like you were backed into a corner because a lot of people were angered by your opinion. This is because people let their emotions leak into their arguments. However, if we take the topic of discussion into consideration, this is understandable. Gay marriage is a very personal topic, because it involves a person's identity and their rights as a human being. Of course people--gay people in particular--are going to get touchy about someone saying that how they feel is "unnatural". How a person truly feels is NEVER unnatural and it is NEVER something they can control. If you feel sad, you feel sad. It's not your fault, and nobody can become angry with you for feeling it. If you feel attracted to a man and you happen to be a man yourself, it is not your fault. If you are a woman attracted to a woman, it is not your fault. The ignorance of society and the unwillingness of some people to accept homosexuality gets in the way of gay people embracing this fact about themselves, and loving themselves despite the fact that some people say what they feel is wrong. Also, people have died because of this. Have you seen Milk? It powerfully shows the violence and discrimination against homosexuals and how people's lives have been taken from them because of who they are. It's sick, as sick as anyone getting beaten to death because of the color of their skin. You brought God into this discussion by generalizing those that call themselves Christians, which angered a lot of Christians who are against prop 8. Again, it's understandable why their emotions leaked into their posts. The fact is, there are a lot of different types of Christians. There are the typical ones that spring to mind, the ones that attend Church every Sunday and follow every little word the Bible says, and then there are millions of other types. Also, the fact that you don't believe that "don't eat shellfish" and "you can sell your daughter" are in the Bible just shows that whole pick-and-choose thing that a lot of people do with the Bible. A lot of people just choose what they like and don't like out of the Bible and go by that, disregarding everything else. That is an arrogant way of saying "everything I believe is right, why don't you believe it also?!" I'm not calling you arrogant, I'm not saying that's what you do, but like you said, everyone has the right to their opinion. It applies to everyone else as well as to you.
You guys...Kira's on the loose. Oh my gosh, Billy Mays! I can't believe it! This...this is just awful! First Michael Jackson, and now...this? Not to mention Farrah Fawcett...seriously, someone go find Light Yagami right now...
I'd heard all the jokes and everything, but I never hated him. I thought he was a little creepy looking, but a fantastic musician. I bet everyone feels pretty awful now about those pedophile jokes. Listening to Thriller now. And it's so surreal. I keep connecting each line to his death. "You close your eyyyyyyes and hope that this is just imagination....."
Oh man, only fifty? That's awful! Poor guy. D:
This. This is just sick. I hate how homophobic our society is. Gosh, let people be who they are and don't let it bother you. It's not your business if someone is gay! Back off! Also, no, you cannot "become straight" any more than you can "become gay". A person is born one way or the other. It's not like choosing a religion or a favorite color. It's a part of who you are.
Just heard about this, and sure enough, it's the first new thread I see on here. I've been running around the house, calling friends and family to tell them. I can't believe it. It's like when Steve Irwin died. How am I going to listen to Thriller ever again? How old was he, anyway? Pretty young, right?
By "fighting-friendly" I mean hopefully she will be wearing pants or shorts or something. Do you know how hard it is to fight in a skirt, especially one that short? If she's going to be battling Heartless, I'm sure she wants to able to move around more easily.
It looks all right, I suppose. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but the special effects look nice.
Not a surprise, but still pretty awful. They should be able to have children if they want to. What if they always wanted to start a family, but obviously can't have children of their own? Adoption is a wonderful thing--it's taking someone else's biological child and raising it as your own. Some might say that the child would be ridiculed in school for having gay parents, which is true, but what kid doesn't get teased for some reason or another? Besides, look at the good that would come out of it. Having gay parents could make the kid far more openminded and less judgmental about people. It would show them that anybody can love anybody, and true love can come out of a homosexual couple as easily as it can come out of a heterosexual one.
I think the only way this would work was if it was a new story. Not KH or KHII, but a different one altogether. If Riku actually had a good plotline to work with that didn't seem contrived, then yes, it would be fantastic to play as him. It's true that we've already got Reverse Rebirth (haven't played that yet, but I will) but I can see how a Riku-centered story would appeal to people.
The Afternoon Streets Dearly Beloved Kairi And, of course, Passion
A lot of people have already said My Lullaby from Lion King 2, and then there's Poor Unfortunate Souls from The Little Mermaid. I wish I could offer something more original than those two...I guess Hades didn't have a song, did he?
