There is no undeniable evidence that God exists. If there was, it would have been on the news by now, and tons of people would be freaking out. ;)
Algebra II X_X
^Exactly. The real test will be in a few years when we get to see if any other stuff she comes up with is original. If she still does the exact same thing years from now, she loses some points as a musician in my book.
I don't think he did. He was a Nobody, therefore he didn't have one.
No, I'm just retaking the class next year. Luckily it was an eleventh grade class, so I haven't fallen behind. I'm taking the math course I'm...
Awesome! I'll be one in September, although I have to retake my math class...not my best subject.
I've only heard Just Dance and Poker Face, but I think she's interesting. Sure, her songs are about things I've heard a million times already, but I think she has a nice sound. She's a good musician, that's for sure.
Becoming angry with someone because they don't feel something you want them to feel is unreasonable. I've had friends try to get me to argue with my dad to get something they want and I've told them no because I didn't want to stir up trouble with my dad. Maybe your girlfriend just wanted to avoid any further trouble. Perhaps she has a non-confrontational personality.
I was nine days late. I think I liked it too much in there. XD It's like when my mom tries to get me up for school.
At first I thought this game was pointless, but back when Chain of Memories came out, I thought it was pointless as well. I thought it was just the first game all over again. Then, because I had no idea what happened in CoM, it took me forever to figure out what in the world was going on in Kingdom Hearts II. That said, Coded will probably have some important plot points that we'll need to know later.
There are so many I would give a heart to. Xion, because she never had much of a chance, and Repliku for the same reason. Also Roxas, because you really feel for him when you go through the entire prologue of Kingdom Hearts II with him, and then Axel for similar reasons as well. Actually, if given the option, I would give every Nobody a heart.
Why do we debate on anything in the debate corner? If you think about it, a lot of the questions are based primarily on opinion. However, it is fun to see the responses certain questions get and what evidence people use to back up their claims. The whole God debate is such an age-old question that, of course, people are going to bring it up. Sure, there's no way to prove it, but getting into heated debates is fun, and it challenges the mind. It forces us to think.
In my opinion, this isn't a competition. Have any of you seen the latest cover for the New Yorker magazine? I love the cover, because it shows how reliable technology actually is when it comes to something that lasts long. Do you know how easily a laptop or iPod or cell phone is broken? Just drop it in some water, and it's gone. Drop a book into some water, sure, the pages are wet, but if you let it dry, you might still be able to read it. Drop an electronic device off a cliff, and it breaks. Drop of a book off a cliff, and if you happen to be at the bottom of the cliff when it falls, you are still easily able to use it for what it is meant to be used for: reading. Sure, the computer has the internet, but it's not always the most reliable source. To get a book out there, it has to be worthy of being published. If a book has passed the test of a publisher and editor, it is more reliable than a website (because anybody can make a website and post whatever information they want on it). True, they are used for different things. The internet is used for connecting with people you couldn't otherwise communicate with and books are meant to teach. I just think a book is so much more meaningful. When you open a book, it is an entire world of ideas and words. It is someone's blood, sweat and tears on paper, it is their life, it is their thoughts, it is them. There's so much more you can take away from a book than a laptop. It is true that you can read books on the computer, but it is not the same. What sounds more relaxing than curling up with a book, a true, physical book, and hearing the crinkle of the page as it turns, smelling the whiff of the paper, whether it be new or old? What about the black ink that makes up the words? A laptop can be so easily disposed of, but books are eternal.
Man, that sucks. Yeah, I'm ending my sophomore year as well.
Yup. And you?
Ahh. Yeah, usually I meet people without siblings who wish they had some, and then people with siblings who wish they were only children. It's a...
