ugh, you guys, lose your fanboy/fangirl support for the systems and see the facts. The wii does not compete with the 360 and ps3. Sure, its also a next gen system, but in terms of graphics quality, internet service, best selling games etc, its just not as good as the 360 and ps3 are. Its just not as good a system. Don't argue, its not. I'm not saying the wii isnt fun, or not good at all, it is, but its best game is the sequel to its previous best game (Super Mario Galaxy 2/Super Mario Galaxy) and its previous best game was Brawl...so yeah...very diverse. Think about it this way, if you have either a 360, ps3 or a wii and a game is coming out for all 3 systems, (and you have all three systems or at least 2, one of them being a wii) you're more likely to get the ps3/360 version, right? Simply because you'd be able to do more/it'll look better than the wii version. I'd say that the 360 and ps3 are more evenly matched...because the 360 came out first of all 3 systems, it was able to grab a lot gamers quickly. When the ps3 stepped in, people were turned off by its high price and the fact that it still needed to build a game library, which, by the time it came out the 360 had already done. Still, the ps3 is overall a more powerful system and has its pluses with things like free online (which, compared to Live its still lacking, because barely anyone is on) and blu-ray. As time has gone on, both systems have gotten great games and have pretty equal libraries now, although ps3 might have more exclusives. Conclusion: -The wii is ok, but is out of its league compared to the 360 and ps3. And it largely clings onto nintendo for its games. -The 360 was winning at first, but now that ps3 prices have gone down and it has a good library they are more evenly matched. Now shuuuut the fuck up.
Actually no, this is the 234th Independence Day this country has seen.
