A Nobody is the body and the soul. The body gives it shape, and the soul gives it life. The only thing Nobodies don't have is a heart, which is why they lack emotions. When the soul leaves the body, you're just dead, nothing else.

It's already been confirmed that Ven will be voiced by Roxas' voice actor, so Jesse McCartney it is. As for the rest of them, if you watch the Japanese trailer, Terra appears to be voiced by the same actor for Xehanort, and Master Xehanort appears to be voiced by Xemnas' voice actor.

Well, like I said a few posts above yours, it's quite different as Heartless are hearts taken by darkness, whereas I think Unbirths are an entire person taken by darkness - heart, body, soul. Plus, it really makes a difference when the soul is included. So basically you can think of an Unbirth as a hybrid of a Heartless and a Nobody, with more gruesome goals. And Unbirths are black; I don't know what else the color black symbolizes in KH other than darkness.

    Here's my proof:

Really, from this we can say that Unbirths are most likely precursors to the Heartless and Nobodies, as many people have guessed. So if that's true then it's not surprising to see them with the traits of Heartless and Nobodies.

Well, as much as we don't want the series to end, KH3 might actually be the last. Remember, Nomura keeps mentioning that KH is different from FF in that it's just one story. And of course, KH isn't KH without Disney. If they abandon Disney only as an excuse to make more games, it would just be another FF. Plus, since "three" is quite a special number in KH, 3 main games are fitting.

Look at these three new games. Nomura said that they all add up to a "future KH game" aka. KH3. All this talk of "master Keyblade wielders", forbidden secrets, true enemies of the series - it all seems to be building up towards a climax. So KH3 might be the last KH game.

Not exactly. With Heartless, darkness takes the heart, and the body and soul are left behind. What I'm saying with Unbirths is that darkness takes over the heart, the body, and the soul. Especially if the soul is taken over, that's a big difference from Heartless.

Alright, so I looked up "Unbirth" and what came up was "Vorarephilia". This is apparently what "unbirthing" is in real life:

Now then, this could mean that Unbirths are creatures who were once people who are eaten - by darkness.

From this, we can tell that there is something very inhuman about these creatures, more inhuman than the qualities of Heartless and Nobodies. Heartless, on instinct, only wish to create more of its kind. Nobodies, with the ability to think and plan, wish to make themselves whole. Unbirths however seem to care about nothing else except using the power of darkness which they've been consumed by. And they want to consume others as well; so like both Heartless AND Nobodies, they can think and plan, and wish to create more of their own. In fact, they've become insane from it - "wild". Really, look at the symbol of the Unbirths. It looks like a heart surrounded by thorns or fire, and two anchor-like things that seem to be balancing it. That's the heart eaten by darkness and being controlled by it (hence the anchors balancing it):

They designate the feeling of the game's motif, so the idea of "darkness taking over" might be the main theme of BBS. As said by both Master Xehanort and Maleficent, the apprentice and Terra both seem to be attracted to power, power gained only by allowing yourself to be completely consumed by darkness.

The apprentice seems to have turned into an Unbirth already, or at least is close to becoming one, hence Master Xehanort's plea: "defeat the darkness and correct my mistake!". It looks as if Master Xehanort didn't want his apprentice to be taken by the darkness, so he's begging for someone to release him from that darkness.

Terra as well seems to be attracted to the darkness. Aqua and Ven wish to believe that it's just a lie, but Maleficent claims that it isn't. Most likely, Maleficent wants to use Unbirths to her advantage (just like what she did with Heartless), and plans on turning Terra into one by luring him into the darkness.

Now then, when you actually turn into an Unbirth, you completely lose yourself. To summarize it: Like vorarephilia (where one gets aroused by the thought of being eaten or eating another), Unbirths were people who were eaten by darkness because either they really wanted to be, or because some other Unbirth ate them. Once they become Unbirths, they are controlled by the darkness; they are just wild, insane. It's monstrous and very inhuman - when you become an Unbirth, you are no longer regarded as a human at all. It's like you threw away your human life and began anew, reversed your birth, thus, as Nomura says "the 'Unborn' is given real meaning". And maybe the only way to release them from the darkness controlling them is by using the Keyblade...

So that's my theory. I think the only flaw here is that SE (and Disney) would not like the idea of creating something for their game that is based on a sexual fetish. But what the hell, this seems like a good explanation, eh?

It's either dark blue or black (Aqua connection, anyone?). And it's not only her hair color that's been revealed, in the trailer she apparently sounds like Kairi. As Nomura says:

Kairi cannot have a Heartless. As a Princess of Heart, she has absolutely no darkness in her heart, and Heartless are created from the darkness in people's hearts.

No, there won't be Drive Forms in BBS. Instead you go into similar but more epic forms; when you fill your Command Gauge, you are able to convert into one of three modes. In the demo, Terra could go into "Fireblazer" (where all your attacks are fire-based), "Rockbreaker" (where you perform Lexaeus-like attacks, "Thunderbolt" (where Terra can call down lightning), and "Fatal Mode" (where you can use very powerful melee attacks). Ven's special attacks include "Cyclone" (a fire attack like a tornado) and "Speed Rave" (a high-speed fire attack), as well as "Fireblazer" like Terra.

    Here's "Rockbreaker" in action:

Another new attack is the "Shootlock System", which is where the Focus Bar comes into play. By holding down R, you go enter a first-person view in which you have a few seconds to target foes by moving over them with the reticle after which, you shoot them with sparks of light. If you press circle, you launch into a rush attack that strikes each targeted enemy several times. The latter attack depletes the Focus Bar entirely, but it fills again fairly rapidly. Terra's attack is called "Photon Charge" and Ven's is "Star Burst".

Here's what Nomura said about the gameplay of BBS:

For the Shootlock System, you go into a first-person view by holding down the R button. You target multiple enemies by moving over them with the reticule as quickly as possible and then you shoot sparks of light at them. However, by pressing O, you launch into a rush attack that hits opponents several times. Terra's attack is called "Photon Charge" and Ven's is "Star Burst". Here's the Shootlock System in action:

It's definitely not just you. KH2:FM has the boss fight with Terra, the cutscene with Xemnas and Aqua, and the new secret ending. If that's not hinting to BBS I don't know what does.

True, they are more like Limits, but since they basically make you stronger with more abilities for a short amount of time, they are practically equivalent to Drives, minus the change of outfits and level-ups. These special attacks were announced from the recent private party - you can choose any of them when you fill the Command Gauge. And Shootlock Mode uses the Focus Bar.

Like I said, the Focus Bar is for Shootlock Mode, and you enter Fatal Mode, Fireblazer, etc. by maxing out the Command Gauge.

There's already Fatal Mode, Fireblazer, Rock Breaker, Thunderbolt, Cyclone, Speed Rave, Shootlock Mode, and all that special stuff. I think those are the replacements for Drives, and I prefer them.

Let me clear up this thing about the secret endings.

The KH2 secret ending was a concept video. That's to say, less than 50% of what you see there will be in the actual game. The KH2:FM secret ending is a continuation of the regular KH2 secret ending. The figure near the end of the KH2 secret ending is definitely MX. The only reason he looks different there is because Nomura obviously hadn't finished his design yet. Heck, Nomura hadn't even thought up of what Terra, Aqua, and Ven's faces were gonna look like back then. The reason they picked up the Keyblades was to show that VAT weren't SRK, only that they had connections. The picking up of the Keyblades is completely non-canon.

The KH2:FM secret ending is what really happened. Now some of you may be thinking, "What about Deep Dive (KH1:FM secret ending)? A lot of things in Deep Dive didn't happen in KH2." Well that's because Deep Dive was made more than 2 years before KH2 released, heck, before Nomura even thought of making a sequel. The KH2:FM secret ending, however, was not only made when BBS was already in production, but Nomura had already finished the story for BBS. So the KH2:FM secret ending is pretty accurate.
