Here's the translated version: http://www.khinsider.com/images/!!!/trans/bbs01t.jpg
The game begins right at Roxas' "birth" and explains everything after that, but the game's main storyline points start after CoM, when Sora goes to sleep. So basically the game will be moving through all three games (KH1, CoM, and KH2), filling in all the gaps that involve Roxas up until he is captured by Riku. Apparently, Xion joined the Organization right after Roxas and just before CoM, hence all the CoM members were there.

I didn't say all the things mentioned were confirmed. Just a few were implied; I try my best not to state my own opinion when criticizing theories, although sometimes I just can't help myself. :poketoungeb: Anyway, most of the things I put have definitely been confirmed by Nomura himself. I admit the 4th point was more opinion than fact, but here's proof of the others: Stuff on the 1st and 2nd points: Stuff on the 3rd point: From Nomura's quotes on "Stuff on the 1st and 2nd points", we can easily tell that he wasn't even that far in the development of BBS, much less KH3. In fact, he probably only started the story of BBS right after the release of the Japanese version of KH2, as implied here:
Well, I can say that there's almost nothing wrong with the logic in this. The best part in my opinion would be the one about Xion; makes good sense, albeit somewhat of a rehash of Naminé's story. The rest of this theory would be quite plausible except for these things: 1.) Most of what happened in the KH2 secret ending are non-canon as it was just a concept video. A confirmed fact is that the picking up of the Keyblades is just to show that the armored figures aren't characters we already know; it didn't really happen. Yes, it's symbolic, but for a reason different from what you put. 2.) So basically the KH2 secret ending did happen, but a lot of the stuff like the picking up of the Keyblades aren't. Now the KH2:FM secret ending is very canon. The flaw in your theory is that you stated that the two secret endings take place in different times. They don't. The KH2:FM secret ending has been confirmed to be a continuation of the KH2 one. 3.) The Terra battle is completely non-canon. It was just to foreshadow BBS. In fact, it wasn't even Nomura's idea to put it in - it was a developer's idea. 4.) Xemnas' intention was to use KH's remaining power to defeat Sora, not to become whole. In fact, it is not even Xemnas' intention to become whole in the first place. He only wishes to use KH to become a god-like entity and create a brand new world, "one heart at a time". Anyway, we don't even know if Terra's a bad guy. Only Xehanort/Xehanort's Heartless/Xemnas is a bad guy. This obviously has got to do with Master Xehanort's heart entering Terra or something... But that's another theory, and it's not my intention to bring it up here.
358/2 Days starts before CoM as the game's prologue covers Roxas' birth. However, the game really starts once he enters the Organization, still right before CoM. As we can see, Xion enters the Organization before CoM as well since the CoM members are seen in the cutscene. The main part of the story is about Roxas' life and thoughts in the Organization so the game covers the entire year Sora was asleep in the pod. It ends right before Roxas is captured by Riku, and since Nomura has said that Riku will be a playable boss battle, plus one of the older trailers supposedly showed said battle, Riku will more than likely be the final boss. Basically, also according to Nomura, 358/2 Days fills in all of the plot holes of the timeline connection between KH1, CoM, and KH2. As for the CoM members being playable, they are only playable in multiplayer mode, as multiplayer mode will be (again, in Nomura's words) "treated as an alternate world". Hope this helps!
Aw, I was just about to post this. :xp: Anyway, I've got nothing to say about this trailer except, "Wow...". Now for the BBS one... And yes, it's on YouTube. KHInsider JUST put it up there.
Yeah, here's Nomura's quote: Here's what he said about the chairs' heights in 358/2 Days. It's actually part of the grading system:
Well, the only drawback with this theory is that Sora and Riku are seen as little kids in the first BBS trailer, before Terra, Aqua, and Ven were defeated (if that does happen).
I actually think none of them will. Nomura stated that the way the gameplay has been set out in BBS is quite different from Sora's. He said that we might think something like, "Wow, that couldn't have been possible with Sora". Terra definitely is, in your words, the "tank of the three". He specializes in strength. Ven, who specializes in speed, is quite different from Sora and even Roxas for that matter since Ven wields his Keyblade backwards as clearly seen in this screenshot: Finally, from what we saw in the recently leaked trailer, Aqua will be the most unique; she specializes in magic. Plus Nomura's been saying that she's very acrobatic, as she does a lot of flips and cartwheels in battle and even teleports!
358/2 Days trailer: BBS Trailer:
Well, this was QUITE a surprise. Includes 358/2 Days multiplayer, Xion's face, Aqua gameplay, etc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH8cV7UUdiA&fmt=18
This first one features a lot of moves we haven't seen in motion before, including the Shootlock System: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lNIVcQDrAo&eurl=http://www.khinsider.com/&fmt=18 This second one isn't really anything new if you've seen the video Akino posted recently, but it's in higher quality and shows off Terra's dash moves. Plus, you can see just how smooth the gameplay is compared to the previous titles: http://psp.ign.com/dor/objects/964460/kingdom-hearts/videos/kingdomhrtspsp_101008_standoff.html
You're right about the KH1 Heartless, but where'd you get the idea that the gameplay is like that as well? It was said many times (including people who played the demo) that the gameplay is a mixture of KH1 and KH2, plus with a few twists. For example, you can attack, jump, dodge roll, and glide all in a single combination! Plus the movements look a lot smoother than the previous games, seeing the short clips. Not just that, but yes, they said that the Heartless you battle are mainly from KH1, but they also said that they are REVAMPED, meaning more/different moves. Is that so bad?
Don't forget, Ansem found Xehanort collapsed in the street; you could call that "sleep". Since most of BBS is dedicated to revealing Xehanort's past, I'm sure the title itself is connected.
Here's the official boxart: And the official site: http://na.square-enix.com/khrecom/
Nope, not another rumor - it's finally been confirmed! Here's the official boxart: And the official site: http://na.square-enix.com/khrecom/
Nomura hadn't even thought about making a sequel back then, much less a prequel.
I have to say before BBS was announced, Roxas was my favorite character in the KH series (next to Ansem, Xemnas, Zexion, and Marluxia XP). This is why: 1.) Cool clothes (especially the wristband). 2.) Cool voice. 3.) Cool name. 4.) Cuter than Sora (I'm a guy, mind you). And as we can see in FM and the new games, they made his face even cuter! 5.) Very appealing personality (very friendly). 6.) Way better than Sora in terms of intelligence, personality, etc. 7.) I can connect with him. And he's just gonna get better in 358/2 Days! But now, my favorite character became Ven, so far because of the way he holds his Keyblade, his fighting style, and his outfit (the wristband looks better with white as the border).
I seriously hope this is true. A lot of people have been saying that 1Up is quite unreliable, but mentioning the price made it more believable.
