OOC: Ravakov has an idea of Enigma's rank. He's just a little...Out of it right now. BIC: "I see her too," Xane said. "Let's meet up with her and the others." *** "Alright, here's my plan," Pharell started, finally. I'm going to comandeer the ship. The rest of you will do whatever the hell you want back on this communications-less Ulfire base. With that, Pharell forcefully threw Ecko and the soldiers out of the ship. Soon after, he was firing the ship's canons at the other ships docked there, destroying any other means of leaving the Ulfire base...At least any means that Pharell knew of.
Xane finally climbed over, seeing Venture and Mellodia wlaking not too far away. *** Under a pile of wires, scraps of metal, and other things that resmbled some type of heavy machinery, a hand rose out of the scrap heap. Ravakov had survived the fall. Coughing up smoke, he decided to give a call to Enigma to tell him the situation. Unfortunately he felt as if he was drunk, as he staggered with smoke rising from his ash covered clothing to the explosion the amchine's destruction caused. "This is Ravakov paging Commanding Lieutenant Enigma, sir!" Ravakov said drowsily. "Ultimate Nobodies have taken down tin can. Am going to second station now, Comrade Sergeant Enigma, sir!" Ravakov said, before coughing up yet another smoke cloud and falling face first onto the mud, unconscious.
OOC: Uh, hold on. I'll P.M you a link. BIC: THat's good to know," Xane said, starting to climb over the structure. *** "We're lost," Mellodia grunted. "We're not lost...," Venture noted. "I'm sure we haven't passed by this particular rock before." "I really hope you know where we're going," Mellodia said. "Trust me," Venture assured. "I know all too well..."
"I don't know," Xane shrugged. "I was figuring you could tell me." *** Pharell scratched his chin while contemplating his decision on what to do with the soldiers.
Xane just walked around, looking for a direct path in the maze of ruins that lie before him. *** Pharell was starting the ship up, letting it levitate off of the ground, before deciding what to do with the soldiers still left on board.
They finally made it to the ship docks. Pharell wasn't looking for speed today, but durability. He was expecting to encounter some heavy firepower. Finding a large ship, he immediately rushed at the Ulfire soldiers in it's entrance way. The soldiers weren't expecting to encounter any prisoners there, and stumbled to find their blasters. Pharell managed to tackle one to the floor and the other shot. Perfect. Pharell raised the cuffs up...and the cuff were burnt to a crisp. Pharell was free. Pharell quickly took out the last soldier, and started the ship up.
"Let's head near the docks. They won't be able to get any communications out, with my EMP wave emitter still in affect," Pharell explained.
OOC: Nope. DK has some people and I have at least one more. Not sure if Raijin will fight or not.
alright. I'll check it out! After I clear my pm box...
OOC: Sorry for the wait. Anyway, they've beaten Ravakov for now, and they have no way to get across a large chasm that seperates them from the other side of the ruins.
OOC: I liked Wing's message, Wing! Nice post. Seeing as commenting is about all I can do until the others arrive...Or, you can have Wing meet up with the rest of us.
OOC: Well, none of your other plans would work since: The machine never runs out of energy (unless you flick the off switch), You can't destroy it down to it's atoms since it's made out of Hephaestus' magic metal and science doesn't apply there (unless you flick the off switch), and it recharges and grows with any heat source (unless you flick the off switch). BIC: "I'm not goin' down there," Xane said, looking down at the chasm below.. "How will I get back up? Let's just wait until he gets back up."
"Time to find a way to free myself of these cuffs," Pharell said, looking around a random office.
The one thing every customer should know when dealing with Hephaestus. He can make the most powerful, machines alive...but, to ensure his work doesn't fall into the wrong hands, he always installs a fail safe mechanism. So when Ravakov purchased the metal, he unknowingly brought along a power switch tat was designed to shut off all electricity in the main Promethian power grid. In short, the off switch was the only way to beat the machine. Realizing this now, Ravakov immediate tries to eject out of the pilot's seat, but finds that the eject button is connected to the machine's ,main power grid. He also tried to break free from the machine itself, but the metal forged from the Greek god of fire was to strong. "Hmm..." Ravakov mused, while scratching his chin. "Vell, this sucks." With that, the machine (and Ravakov in it) tipped over falling into the long chasm below. Xane and Xardius would hear a long whistling sound, before the machine hit the ground with a plop. The sound of a distant explosion was heard along with a small, "Ow." from Ravakov.
"Of course I do," Ravakov yawned "But, I also possess a high intellect. Vhich is vhy I prefer not to waste my time randomly smashing things like you and other similar idiots. Now are you ready to surrender, or do I have to shoot you again?"
The machine had fully regenrated by now, bigger and heavily armed to the teeth. Ravakov hovered back into his pilot's chair, grinning cruelly1 "Now, you vill know vhat true power is!" Ravaov shouted, once again sounding triumphant. OOC: did you know there was a 20 word minimu on posts here now? I didn't, until recently. Huh...
Ravakov rushed at Xardius, punching him in the gut, and sending him flying back towards the forest. Ravakov laughed, though this was mostly a bluff.
OOC: You really want to know? Okay, I'll tell you...Flick the off switch. I'm totally serious with that. BIC: "Fine," Ravakov sighed, as the machine started to piece itself together.. "I'll toy vith you and your idiocy for a vhile..."
"Of course you realize, this means var, "Ravakov spat as his machine grabbed Xardius suddenly, tossed him into the air,and pelted him with machine gun fire. Then it shot at him with a rocket launcher. Each rocket was loaded with equal energy as his atomic explosion. Then it hit Xardius with an electric beam attack. Then it lifted Xardius up with a gravitational beam, before violently slamming him into the dirt. OOC: Your turn.
That much heat burned a considerable hull through the machine. The burning hot heat still sizzled through the air as the gas started to form into a solid once more. Larger, bigger, more dangerous. Such was the might of Hephaestus' magic metal. "Yes!" Ravakov smiled in triumph. "Experiment successful! Let me introduce you to the Prometheus Mk. III!" Suddenly, a pincer attached to a wire-like tendril grabbed Xardius by the neck tossing him into the air. Afterward, a beam shot forward at him, suspending him in place, while another canon shot a beam of concentrated ion beams at the Phoenix. Ravakov wasn't planning on that defeating him, but if it furthered his experiment...
