I think I just spent a half hour catching up on posts in the OOC thread, seriously, I was on yesterday.... how do you guys do it?

So, yeah, I'll watch the site like a hawk to wait for it to start, lol, and I might do the same picture thing for my OC, Savant... I was actually thinking of doing it before reading Bushy's post anyway... I'd like to do it for Ignis, too, but I couldn't really do the fire design in a Halo Game, XD.

Alright, I wasn't sure, I tend to lean towards pilot-type characters when I play military Role plays, that's why I asked, but being RvB and all; I sincerly doubt this will be anything like Military RP's I've been in in the past, XD.

Yeah, Star Wars would have the same powers problem Skyrim does... I'd have to limit the number of Jedi/Sith, or make everybody a Force-user.

Lord of the Rings, After the Trilogy, opens a lot of new ground; but, in the Hobbit, the events are (mostly) minor and of no real consequence to the rest of Middle Earth (for that time period, at least). And with the Lord of the Rings a past RP could be done even before the Hobbit time period.

Well, this is the main reason why I posted this thread instead of just trying to make one of the above, I'd like to know what people would be interested in, and to have input from them.

The reason I picked the three above is because they all have massive ammounts of background information attached, I personally don't care between any of them.

With Skyrim I'd have to do a lot of work planning out what powers would be avaliable, maybe all of them, but you can only have one or two per character, there'd have to be limits and such involved.

With Lord of the Rings I think it could work any of the ways, I wouldn't want to do a repeat of the storyline, so I'm leaning more toward before or after, rather than durring. But I'd like to see people's input as to what they think would be best.

I would learn everything so I don't have to go to school anymore.... and I'd make the Wii Station 360, combining all the good things from Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo systems into one super system.... and I'd make them all come with free internet!

The Pride Lands shrank behind them as they rocketed toward Sora's Gummi ship. Mark's fighter rolled through space, the smooth red hull speckled with distorted reflections of the stars.

Kairi held her breath, peering out through the wardrobe's closed doors with one eye, silent as a mouse. ​

Kouri stalked slowly through the coastal forest, a gleaming spear of ice in her hands. As small amounts of the ice melted she refroze it, an act that came naturally to her after two years in the Earth Kingdom. A dead rabbit was slung over her shoulder, killed by her spear. Several minutes later she sat in her makeshift camp, eating cooked Rabbit meat. A pile of charred logs was all that remained of her fire, the spear resting on a fallen log, slowly melting now that Kouri was not maintaining it.

Once she was done eating, Kouri took the spear in her hands and willed it to melt. Soon liquid water was suspended in the air, which she slowly and precisely re-shaped into a curved sword, then she froze it solid and griped the hilt in her right hand.

She set out away from the river, heading west toward the great city of Ba Sing Se.

Personality: Strong-willed, Vengefull, but also has a kinder side (which she hides behind a cold exterior)
Weapon: Blades, staves, clubs, and spears made of ice. She has some training in swordmanship and tends to make blades for herself using waterbending. She can also use regular swords if she needs to, but does not own any.
Nation of Birth: Northern Water Tribe
Current Whereabouts/Residency: Traveling the coastlines of the Earth Kingdom
Bender: Yes, Water/Ice, very well trained in the combat capabilities of water and ice, but knows very little of how to heal. She can make and maintain weapons from ice so long as it isn't overly hot and that she has some time to construct the object. (different lengths depending on the complexity of the object she is trying to make. She could easily create a simple club in the middle of a fight, but complex things; such as swords or spears, would take more time.)
Background: Was raised in the Northern Water Tribe until she was about ten, when her family set out for the Southern Water Tribe for reasons unknown to her. The ship she was traveling on was attacked by the Fire Nation's Navy, an attack which she is the sole survivor of.
Current Life: She now resides in the Earth Kingdom, traveling along the coast and doing whatever she can to harm the Fire Nation.

OOC: I'm not sure if you are allowing the ice-bending thing, I know that some waterbenders were able to bend with ice in the TV series, but I'm unsure on the difficulty level of that.

Perhaps the timeframe could be before the Firebenders take control, after the Avatar dies, before the new Avatar is discovered. That way you wouldn't have one character being overly strong but you'd still be able to keep it along the lines of the main series... just an idea.

This RP has kinda gone quiet, just wondering if somethin' happened to you, Sessamaru.

Mark clambered up into the pilot's seat, looking back at the tangled forms of Akii and Sei behind him, "crap... I've only got two seats in this thing!" he said as he glanced around the small, fighter-like craft. Mark's ship didn't even have a boarding ramp, the only way to get in and out was the cockpit canopy.

"Sei, get in the co-pilot's seat, keep her in your lap!" Mark commanded, buckling himself into the harness and lowering the canopy, "this is going to get really shaky, you both need to be strapped in!"
The small ship's engines hummed as Mark started the power-up sequence.​
