90% of the worlds were hints towards the truth and foreshadowing about how Sora and Namine's story would end. It's tricky to catch up on on the first play-through though, seeing how you have to know the truth to realize why they kept talking about true/fake Memories, and Sora being told to beware his Memories. And then of course all the motifs of friendships and partings and reunions. It's all there, SoNami galore all over the place; you just gotta keep it in mind when playing through.

He actually said the exact opposite in his interviews. Days, BBS and Coded are all related, which makes sense - how are you supposed to base a proper plot for the eventual KH3, if you just throw out three games at the fans when they have nothing in common? Xion only has to be related to Sora in order for her to have the Kingdom Key, and Roxas's Memories as can be understood from one of the trailers. Her being affected by those Memories can also easily explain her looks - which means she bears no true relation to Kairi save for the fact that Sora, whose Memories shape Xion - remembers Kairi. Ask yourself this - why should he introduce a character in one game that didn't stick around to the game that came afterward (KH2) if she lacks any relations to anyone? Xion could explain where Aqua disappeared to, and Xion disappearing will either be the end, or the turning point in Aqua's story. Plus, with Roxas being Ven and Xehanort being Terra (most likely theory, and they are negatively colored versions of each other), Xion being Aqua is kind of a given in order for TAV to have a 'reunion' in the Organization. It would also explain why Xehanort was the one that brought her in to begin with, and also tie in with him having Aqua's armor as shown in the FM+.
Hello, peeps. New person on the block =3 y'all can call me Bee, but don't worry, I don't sting - when uncalled for ;3~ I'm a KH fanatic with regretfully about a year of KH-ness to her name. I support an assorted number of couples in the fandom of all kinds, and adore almost the entirety of the character cast. Can't wait for the new games either, but I'll have to. In my free time (which isn't too great a part of my schedule v.v) I love to play mah consoles, write fanfiction, and just lurk around.
