I think there're very few meanings you can reach behind a Terra-proxy telling Sora he wasn't the one chosen for the KK, with Nomura confirming that scene to hint that Riku was chosen.
And it not mattering whether or not the LS is Terra or not is because his presence there originally was not Nomura's intention - the developers put it in so he mostly said it to get around the canon issue. That doesn't mean they pulled the LS's words out of nowhere especially with Nomura referencing it in Another Report which is blunt canon, and even going as far as
making the Keyblade transformation the means of transportation in BBS
further tying the LS into the canon.

    I said before.
The Lingering Sentiment fight was referenced in Another Report - a book that was released along with the FM+ and had inside it an interview with Nomura. In that interview he noted that in the FM+ they added a scene that hinted towards Riku being a chosen wielder.
Out of all the scenes added in the FM+, the only one that fits this is the Lingering Sentiment's words about how Sora was not the one he [being Terra no doubt] chose - leaving the original Wielder of the KK to yes being the one chosen as is even confirmed by Nomura himself in Another Report.
This also ties in with the scene from the BBS trailers
Where Terra is seen watching child Riku and Sora play on the beach.

Good enough of references or should I also quote?

And that's why at the end, the Keyblade chose Sora over Riku as it saw he was the one more worthy of it at the time.
However, the reason it was originally with Riku was because Terra told it to be there. That's pretty much a canon fact by now.

I actually think KH2 is the least important. :C it's the final one chronologically and content wise didn't have anything the other games didn't cover, and a lot more in-depth than KH2 to boot. Mostly because Sora was busy helping flea-ridden lionesses instead of dealing with the plot.

Uh, yes we do. The FM+ had the Lingering Sentiment - namely, Terra's proxy - tell Sora he wasn't the one he [=Terra] chose for the Keyblade. We know well enough who the original wielder for the KK was, not to mention Nomura said in Another Report that in the FM+ they added a scene that showed Riku was a chosen wielder.
Sora not being chosen for the Keyblade that used to be Riku's = Riku yes being chosen for it, and by Terra to boot.
What we don't know is 'when', the precise 'why' though I imagine the whole Ven-Sora thing had to do with it, and exactly 'how' (was it a transferal? Could you really choose someone to wield a Keyblade? etc), but we do know the 'what' - Riku being chosen by Terra to wield the KK.

Actually without BBS we wouldn't have had KH1 because Terra was the one that gave Riku the Keyblade. Also BBS is how Xehanort no doubt came to be and he's the one that threw Kairi out of Radiant Garden so she could reach Destiny Islands.
So going by your logic, BBS, yo.

I fail to see why not. Especially if Nomura said the only thing keeping it from happening was that at the time of the interview - the English version wasn't released.

Doesn't seem to be that way to me.

Well, Axel turned his back on both Saix and the Organization. Without his pawn, I think that left Saix with a lot less options.

It's ok, even us that did play Days are missing something as they never explained it beyond Axel killing both Vexen and Zexion for Saix's sake.

He ended up on a freaking other world. I doubt he really though they were nearby, especially with everyone telling him they had no clue who they were.

Slight difference between doing that and having a part of his world go bye bye. Slight difference.

    She probably did.
Imagine her walking into his room and going "...D: WHOSE ROOM IS THIS?!"

That's not his fault, actually. Notice how it's not until after they finish Wonderland, Coliseum first visit and Deep Jungle that they even find out what happens to worlds taken over by the Heartless.
He wouldn't have known he had to go looking for her, only asking about his playground island - where he got to see both Riku and Kairi disappear right in front of his eyes. That would call for him to worry only about them but not everyone else.

That's because the Keyblade designs are set by whichever panel you're using :P and the panels don't change regardless of which character you pick. Larxene and Roxas and Xion all use the same Gear. It makes sense though that for Xion and Roxas who share the same weapon, the resulting design will be the same as well.
