Can't wait for our Puppy Bowl party. We've been planning all week, and it's going to be adorably awesome. c: I've heard there's also some sports-related ripoff of the Puppy Bowl, but I don't really know what that's about.
Spoiler: Obviously the best Dalai Lama ever I want this as a giant poster on my wall, so that the 14th Dalai Lama can be saying "Hey, goodlookin'" to me each day.
I couldn't decide whether to laugh, cry, or vomit. All that I did manage to do was say "what the ****" at regular intervals. Don't watch it.
For the full list of nominees: http://www.imdb.com/features/oscars/2011/nominations There are 10 nominees for Best Picture again this year, which I can't tell whether it's annoying or justified. I think it's somewhere in between. Christopher Nolan totally got snubbed from the Best Achievement in Directing category. Sooooooo happy that Hailee Steinfeld got nominated for Best Supporting Actress. At 14, she's the youngest person to be nominated for that category. SEE TRUE GRIT IF YOU HAVEN'T YET. And I'm still campaigning for How To Train Your Dragon's superiority over Toy Story 3. Soooooooooooooooo: thoughts? comments?
My dog of 12 years passed away. I'm not normally an attention seeker, but I think I'm in need of some today. So give me all your lovin'. All your hugs and kisses too~
Please tell me what I just ate.
I was watching a news channel, when I saw this scroll across the headlines at the bottom: [MARQUEE]DON'T FEEL LIKE GOING TO WORK OR SCHOOL ON MONDAY? THAT'S OK. EXPERTS SAY THE DAY IS ALREADY DOOMED.[/MARQUEE] :why?: :why?: :why?: :why?: :why?: :why?: :why?: :why?: :why?: :why?:

Shirley had been on the show a couple of years back, and the hosts were arguing with her back then. But I would have never imagined that she would be so true to her word, as she agreed to not picket the 9 year-old's funeral. Although after he gave her her 2-3 minutes of uninterrupted crap, they went right back to arguing and it was hilarious. Anyway, if you're interested about how it all went down, you can listen to the full interview here: http://www.edge.ca/DJsandShows/TheDeanBlundellShow/Audio.aspx It's the podcast obviously entitled "Shirley Phelps - Jan 11".
Should not be allowed to be released within 5 months of each other, because that is just freaking confusing. :B|:
Because I love you and you love me, I know you won't mind completing this short survey for my media assignment, no? c: I'm posting this in the spamzone so that more people see this, but I'd really extra appreciate it if y'all answer somewhat seriously/what applies most to you. This is multiple choice, but I don't feel like making 5 poll threads. 1. You. See it. NAO. It's so awesome. Although slightly gruesome at some parts. You grapically see some guy's fingers being sliced off at one point. But still freaking awesome nonetheless. <3 I'm actually glad I missed the showtime for Narnia and chose this instead.
How do they mate? .___.
...is epic. That is all. Good day to you, and happy ChristmaHanuKwanzYulEid. And if I missed your day of celebration, it's not my fault you celebrate an obsurely known holiday.
Cut it out. :B|:
We've known each other for over three years now... and... well... I think, before we start, I should let you know that Spoiler
A veterinary student abandons his studies after his parents are killed and joins a traveling circus as their vet. (lol lacking plot blurb, but that's all IMDb says) Reese Witherspoon, Rob Pattinson, and Christoph Waltz? Weirdest castlist ever, am I right? But it still looks interesting (mostly because Christoph Waltz is made of win). I'm thinking I might try to get my hands on the book before I see the movie.
Just curious. I love holiday movies and specials way more than I probably should, seeing as I don't even consider myself to be Christian. But I digress. My favourites are: A Christmas Carol ~ Among the various versions, I love the Alastair Sim one, the Muppets version, and Disney one with Scrooge McDuck (lol, I told you I love these too much), and the Jim Carrey one was fantastic. Not to mention I read the book around Christmas; it's actually one of my favourite stories, Christmas-related or not (being the optimist that I am, I love stories about people becoming optimists  ). Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer ~ Even though Bumble used to scare the willies out of me when I was little, I loved it nonetheless, and still do. A Muppet Family Christmas ~ I LOVE THE MUPPETS SO BITE ME. My family and I watch it each year on Christmas day. c: Spoiler Watch out for that icey pa-WOAHH! Wakko's Wish ~ I'm still not entirely sure if this is even a Christmas/holiday movie, but it usually airs in December and it's set in the winter, so thar. I have a strange attraction to Animaniacs humour. I really can't help it. This movie never gets old to me. How the Grinch Stole Christmas ~ The hand-drawn one, and the Jim Carrey one. Although I do prefer the hand-drawn one more. Santa Clause Is Coming to Town ~ At least that's what I think it's called. It's one of the old stop-motion animation ones, the one with Burger-Miester-Miester-Burger, if that in any way clears it up. Joyeux Noël ("Merry Christmas" is the English title) ~ It's set in World War I in the trenches on Christmas. The fighting stops, and the English, French, and German soldiers call an informal, unauthorized truce and peacefully meet in No Man's Land. I cried. ;_; Your favourites? c:
You're welcome. Sincerely, Canada and its weather systems.
It's so bright... so vivid...
My first thought halfway through the trailer was "this is going to be excessively and annoyingly repetitive, innit?". But it actually looks like it could be pulled off well.... I think.
