~ The Order of the Phoenix ~ For those looking to fight against the oppressive forces of the Dark Arts; for those who wish to stand up for the rights of Muggles; and for those who just like Harry Potter. This is for you. So grab your wand, some Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, and get ready for some magic. Let's lay down a couple of ground rules: - Follow the KHV forum rules. If you haven't read them, gtfo and do so here. - This family is not exclusive, nor will we always be talking about Harry Potter, but having some knowledge of the Harry Potter universe is encouraged. - I doubt it will happen, but please don't be a sh*t disturber/cause drama/start fights. - Please only post in this thread if you are a member OR if you are looking to become a member. - lololol Your character doesn't have to have been a member of the Order. Heck, it could be a Death Eater. It matters not, so long as it's someone from the Harry Potter universe. Sign your name and pick your character and we can get started. As I was saying before the database error. B| According to Wikipedia: "Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In Brave, a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts. Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late." I find that kind of vague, but it still looks mighty interesting. And the art seems to be a style change for Pixar. The girl's face has some Pixar characteristics, but other than that, it looks very unique. And plus Craig Ferguson is in it, so like duh I'm seeing it.
While I sleep, I'd appreciate it if you'd leave your recommendations of what I should and should not do on my last day of legal childhood in this thread. Thank you, and good night/morning/afternoon/evening/[insert time of day that it is in your timezone here].

Honestly, the first time I heard this I was about to go "euuuhhh", but then, it's completely less gross than the traditional process of creating meat. I'm all for it. Your thoughts?
I love Guillermo del Toro. So. Effing. Much. <3 Kid sees the monsters in the house; parents think it's nightmares; parents begin to realize there is actually something messed up. Not entirely a new concept. But because it's del Toro, I have faith that there'll be something in this movie that will make it very unique. I especially really like the very last scene in the trailer there. Suffiiciently toe-curling. c: I was going to say that I'm getting tired of seeing Mark Wahlberg everywhere, but apparently that's not Mark Wahlberg. o.O *confuzzled*
This thread would have a better punchline if I didn't have a pixie cut.
Now... well... :/
http://www.livescience.com/14138-teen-cystic-fibrosis-drug-cocktail-contest.html Take that, vinegar and baking soda volcanoes. Seriously though, I wouldn't necesssarily bet money on him just yet, but I do think it's worth giving a looksee. I'm glad a professor at the University of Toronto is actually letting him continue his work. From my understanding, Cystic Fibrosis isn't a pleasant thing to live with, and there's no cure and not much if any treatment available.
I, and many other people would appreciate it if you signed this. I'm putting this in the Spamzone only so that more people will see it in time.http://www.avaaz.org/en/uganda_stop_homophobia_petition/?twi
