What I find funny is that Japan doesn't get the 3 bonus songs that the US does. Both the cd and digital releases over there only have the "Come Back to Me" remixes as bonus tracks.
Maria-sama ga Miteru 4
"Little Kitty Mine" by Ni-Ni Its a great song to dance to, but the lyrics are a little embarrassing.
I've only seen a couple of episodes back when they were still airing on Adult Swim, but I only watched them because they were on before another show that I wanted to watch. It was intresting, but not something I really cared to watch.
That date is only for the Japan release. An intresting little side note on the Japan release, they're releasing a limited eddition set called "Cloud Black Eddition" that is suposed to include a region-free 160GB PS3 along with the "Advent Children" Blu-Ray discs.
The Dragonball series itself: yes. This movie: no! A little movie info: Production/Distribution Studio - 20th Century Fox Director - James Wong Producer - Stephen Chow Screenplay Writers - Ben Ramsey and James Wong Filming Locations - Mexico City, Mexico and Los Angeles, California Music (Score) - Brian Tyler Movie Theme Song - "Rule" by Ayumi Hamasaki* * I'm in love with that song! Her current vocals work well with rock songs like this.
Beautiful Fighter - angela Its the opening song for Shikabane Hime and I can't get enough of it.
Actually it's not. It's an American animated series created by Aaron McGruder that is heavily influenced by anime. Though the second season does feature some segments animated by Madhouse, the series itself is animated by Adelaide Productions, the animation division of Sony Pictures Television in Culver City, California.
It is indeed an anime, much to my dismay. It started airing in Japan on TV Asahi back in 1992. It wasn't until late 2005-early 2006 that it was licensed in North America by Funimation.
Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori - Its the second season of Hell Girl. Now I'm working on the third season, Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae, which is still airing.
Really?! I know I'm not one of them cause I don't refer to myself as an otaku. I just call myself an anime fan. As for recent anime, for the Fall season, I watched 5 different series and I enjoyed all of them: Vampire Knight Guilty, Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka, Rosario + Vampire, ef - a tale of melodies, and Shikabane Hime: Aka. The Winter season, unfortunately, looks pretty boring to me. Thank god I still have BLEACH, Naruto Shippuuden, and Shugo Chara!! Doki each week otherwise I'd be EXTREMELY bored these next 3 months. For the Winter season, I'm definately watching Minami-ke Okaeri and Shikabane Hime: Kuro. I fell in love with Minami-ke's first season and it continued into the second season. Hopefully I'll love this season too. Shikabane Hime: Aka was just too cool to not continue watching it. The only other show on that list that I have ANY intrest in watching is Maria-sama ga Miteru 4 but I'd have to watch the other 3 seasons first.
Anata ga Iru Kagari ~A World to Believe In~ Yuna Ito and Celine Dion http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04Xr7SjDqbo or anything by Satomi Takasugi or alan like... Satomi Takasugi - Tears In The Sky http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvMkeWgEowU alan - Sora Uta http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnVcXrKA2OA I'll also listen to some of my anime and game soundtracks like Vampire Knight, Shugo Chara, Final Fantasy X, and Kingdom Hearts (obvious). That's usually when I'm reading or playing one of my GBA or DS games.
Saior Moon and Pokemon are definates. I was totally obsessed with those series. Not only would I record Sailor Moon with the VCR, I'd also use a tape recorder to tape the audio track and listen to it on the bus to and from school. With Pokemon, I used to have a notebook that listed all of the original 151 Pokemon (I included Mew in the list), their type, and evolution stats. I remember when Card Captors was still air on Saturday morning KidsWB.
That would be cool since he voiced General Zhao in the show.
I've seen it for sale online for less than what you paid. You can get that same DVD box set for $39.69 at Buy.com Besides, the complete box set, which has all 14 episodes and the DVD extras on a 4-disc set, is on sale. The list price for it is $59.99 but you can buy it at Right Stuff for $33.99, though you don't get all of the extra goodies with it like the CD, the armband, hair band, ect. Honestly, for everyone else, if you're intrested mainly in the show and don't really care about the extra merchandise, get the Complete box set. It'll save you the $20-25 each you would spend for just the DVDs, epsecially if you order it online.
The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison For me a "good" book has to grab my attention within the first 3 chapters. If it doesn't, I don't want to read it anymore and that's what happened with that book. Honestly, I really didn't read the book. I just skimmed the pages before I went to my English 2 class. There was another book that my class was supposed to read called The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway that I was dreading to read, but my teacher dropped it in favor of extending our poetry and drama units. :D
This IS old news. I've known about this (as well as everyone else who keeps up with Potter news or follows the big HP fansites like Leaky or Mugglenet) since August 14, when WB officially announced the delay. I was a bit upset by it at first but I got over it quickly after I found out that Tales of Beedle the Bard was going to be released publicly. I'm still mad but nowhere near as much as I was originally. Besides, the film wasn't completely done and ready for release yet. This is based on the reviews from the test screening that was held in Chicago on September 7. According to them, there were a number scenes throughout the film that did not have the special effects rendered yet. As someone who's taken 3D animation and video effects classes, I can tell you that it would have taken longer to finish all of those effects than the 9-10 weeks they would've had prior to the delay. Edit: Even more proof that this is old news: a previously posted thread about the release date change. http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=59372
I've actually been watching 3 of the shows on that list. (Vampire Knight Guilty, Rosario + Vampire Capu2, and Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka) Vampire Knight Guilty and Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka are really good shows. The last couple of episodes of VKG have left me saying "Oh s***!" and the AInSS episodes always seem to give me a good laugh (sometihng that I've seriously needed these past few weeks). Unfortunately, R+V Capu2 has really gone down the tubes from last season. I'll still watch it, but its definately not as good as the first season.
Hate to tell you this but they won't be off the Bount stuff for a while yet, even though there are only two more Bount arc episodes left. There's another Bount related arc called the Bount Assault on Soul Society arc They'll be completely done with the Bounts on episode 109, and episode 110 will start the Arrancar arc(which if the schedule doesn't change again, that episode will air on April 18, 2009) Oh and Bareri-San, you really should watch Vampire Knight Guilty. It's really started to get awesomely intresting.
I plan on watching Minami-ke Okaeri (3rd Minami-ke season) when it starts airing in January. :woohoo: I also want to see Darker than BLACK and Sailor Moon Sailor Stars, but I'll start those after I finish Trinity Blood and Blood+.
