I thought you guys were referring to the blu-ray/dvd release of the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and to Remembrance Day.

    Silly me.

Use that time that you would be shaving and turn that into writing time.
    DONE.

It's winter (technically fall but I live in Canada so shuddup) and I'm happily single so yeah, this.

Here is where you accept or deny the challenge.

Just note that if you deny, your manhood level goes down considerably.

Yeah, I know the 10th didn't really wear a scarf. :/ But I needed some extra Who-iness in there.

Considering I put this together completely out of things that I already had and use more or less daily, this doesn't seem like much of a costume to me, except for the hair and the lack of make-up to make me look more guy-ish (I never use that much anyway, but... yeah).

Behold: me as the 10th Doctor.

I wasn't able to get my hands on a waistcoat, so I had to go with a plaid blouse.

And then I got scared about how guy-ish I looked and put eyeliner on. xD

    ^ this.
I take it, if you've been invited inside the house, you take off your shoes once you're inside so that you don't leave dirt and other crap on their floors and carpets before you walk through the house.

That's just gross. And disrespectful. Especially if they just vacuumed. ._.

I have a long Doctor Who-ish coat, which will be worn, and my hair is at a good length to mess up and make it look like David Tennant hair. I will wear a scarf and bring along a screwdriver. And also don the proper accent if possible.

    Accents.

It is like this in parts of Canada as well, although perhaps to a lesser degree. Where I am, in southern Ontario, our accent is kind of similar to someone in the northern US (the more north you go in Ontario, the more "howsit goin, eh?" it gets). But there are subtle differences from province to province. One of the most distinct is the Newfoundland accent. I have a friend from Newfoundland, and a lot of people can't understand him when he talks in full-out Newfoundland slang. He says that when he goes to the US, some people mistake him for being Irish. I went to Prince Edward Island over the summer, and they also have a distinct accent, but definitely not as "out there" as a Newfoundland accent.

My favourite accents are probably Kiwi accents, pretty much all of Scandinavia, the Yorkshire accent, Irish and Scottish accents, and when Quebecers speak English. All of them make me giggly. :3
