Truth be told, I wouldn't last a second in a fight with Terra when I'm lvl 1. I will try a lvl 1...eventually...

I've played through the whole game on Critical mode, and fail to see the challenge of it. Anyone else think this mode was over dramatized?

Defender only increases your defense by 3 in a critical situation... You're thinking of Critical Half, which none of the keyblades have (As far as I know).
Not as much as other Keyblades. I beat him with Sweet Memories too.

Errrmmm...No. I love KH2FM, however after playing it I know it offers absolutly nothing important to KH2,-maybe future games, but not KH2. FM1 and FM2 are fan-services in my opinion. Same with Re:CoM, even though the 3-D environment is welcomed.

I recently got KH2FM last week... So far I have completed the Data Battles, Beat Terra, and finished 10 of the 12 Mushrooms. The Org. Mushrooms are the hardest in my opinion.
Look's cool, probably like 3" tall though. The game looks amazing. Can't wait for the new online features.
