Taking another quick glance at Vexen, Roxas replied, "Oh, well, she just wanted to change it. So now it's white." Guessing that Axel wouldn't really believe the boy's explanation, he quickly added, "That's what she told me at least...Hey, you want to talk to her? I'm sure she would like to say 'hey' or something."
Roxas could barely breathe when Axel said he was engaged. "En...gaged? Demyx?" Roxas asked. He didn't want to seem unsupportive, so he managed to show a smile across his face. "I'm happy for you two, really, I am." Roxas offered Axel his hand as a sign of congratulations. "And don't even worry about before. I've totally forgotten about it," which was the honest-to-God truth. There had been so much going on that the boy couldn't remember a whole lot that had happened before his nightmares took over his dreams. "Well, I guess I should be getting back to Vexen," he added, taking a glance over to the table where he had left her. "I'll see you around, Ax."
"Erm, hi," Roxas managed to say after a slight throat cough to try and clear his voice. Axel's bright smile somehow made Roxas feel a little more outgoing, and without really thinking about what he was saying, the boy found himself just talking to Axel like nothing had ever been wrong between them. "Well, how have you been? I know it's been a while. We should really catch up soon," Roxas said, almost forgetting about his rather serious conversation with Vexen.
Roxas kept his blank stare on the figure, who after a moment walked away. He shook his head wondering if what he saw was just another dream and sat back down, to finish his conversation with Vexen. "Well, where wer...." he stopped when he noticed another person enter the library. "Now, I can't be imagining this, too.' When the voice said "What's up?," he immediately recognized it as Axel's. He bent down to his partner, "I'll be right back," and he made his way over to the firey red-headed Organization member. "Axel...."
Before Vexen could say a word, Roxas shot his head over his left shoulder and squinted his eyes. It took him a moment before he spotted a figure looming in the shadows. "Wait a sec..," he whispered to his partner with his head still fixed on the shadowed person, "there's someone over there." After a moment, the blond-headed boy stood up and called out to the strange figure. "Saix?...Is that you?"
ooc: sorry about not replying. gaah,i'm awful at this. forgive me? but at least the thread is going back to it's old glory ( : --- Roxas was appreciative of his friend's attentiveness. He followed her to the table and took his seat. "Well, I think they're nightmares...," he tried to remember the last time it happened. "But they just seemed so real. I can feel where my heart should be and I can feel it beat when I'm running." He folded his hands on the table and stared at them, trying to think of something else to say. Once he realized that he couldn't figure out anything, he looked up to Vexen. "I guess that's it. It probably is just a dream. I shouldn't care this much about it." He tried to make the situation better by adding, "It was probably that late night movie I watched. I think it was called 'Legends'. I didn't really understand it, but it probably gave me those dreams." --- ooc: okay, i know it was lame. traeh, did you get my pm?

i kind of had the same thing. but it was a little different. i wanted to play drums, but my mom thought playing the flute would be more proper, since i was a girl and everything. reluctantly, i decided to play the flute. that was about 6 years ago and i've been playing the flute ever since. i'm really glad i didn't chose drums because i've won competitions and have even been a featured artist for festivals and things. but it was my mom's decision, not mine. i think your mom is just trying to be helpful. i don't think she's thinking "hm, how can i personally go against his wishes?" my suggestion would be to talk with her and maybe make a pro/con list on your electives. tell her that even though band might have scholarships down the road, if you keep your grades up and do many different things, you'll get other scholarships. besides, you want to be well-rounded, so you need to do more than just play in the band. but you have a choice. it's your life, not hers. she's just trying to help you out. ( :

i guess it would be funny, but i don't see how they would get sora to host. i mean, since it's a video game unless you did the majorly expensive cg graphics like they used with gollum from lord of the rings for some awards thing for mtv a few years back. but i just don't think that kh is that popular with the majority of the people who watch saturday night live. but when/if that happens, i can guarentee i'll be watching ( :

ooc: sorry yall. i planned on posting earlier, but i wasn't on my computer and it just, like, shut off. but hopefully, i'm back. well, until i leave, but we'll talk more about that later ( : -- "Out of the ordinary?" Roxas asked with a little bit of a laugh in the tone of his voice. He turned to Vexen who seemed to be casually playing with his hair. "Vexen, when have things been not out of the ordinary around here?" He laughed for a moment, relieved at the ease that the talking with his friend had brought, and semi-hoped that his partner would laugh too. He had slightly noticed that she had been a tad distracted and not her normal self, but all he knew was that she had another run in with Marluxia, though it had been a while since the whole Marluxia-Vexen ordeal. Roxas looked around the empty halls of the castle while walking towards the library and decided that it was safe enough to go ahead and start talking. "Well, to be honest, I've been having these weird thoughts lately. And I've been wondering if any of these are real or not." He chose to look at the ground while walking to the library. He wasn't sure that he could look his now-white-headed counterpart in the eyes while confessing his latest thoughts. "Well, I guess you could say these thoughts are more like nightmares. And they come every night and I just can't take it anymore. In these nightmares, a black figure is chasing me. But I don't know what he wants." By that time, they had reached the library and Roxas reached for the door and let Vexen walk in before him. "And I just, I don't know. You don't happen to know what's going on, do you?" He looked at Vexen with wanting eyes, begging for knowledge and understanding of this matter. He just hoped that his desperation wasn't too obvious.
ooc: oh, i know! we haven't done this since, like, last semester. how be yo' sista? ---- Roxas nodded and listened quietly while Vexen was telling him about her hair. Although her answer didn't sound too certain, he decided it wasn't worth asking more about. Then she had asked him how he was, and he didn't really know where to start. "I'm...eh, okay." He tried to hide the hesitation in his voice. But there would be more time to talk about his dreams and the other strange things later. For now, Roxas didn't want to seem so vulnerable, as he knew he would if he kept talking, and decided it was probably best to end the conversation and have them both go their separate ways. "Well, I guess I'll see you around then," and Roxas turned and started walking away. After a few steps, he stopped. "Wait," he said turning his body around to face Vexen again. "Actually, can I talk to you for a sec?" He couldn't believe he was really saying these things, but felt that since he brought it up, he'd continue, only if Vexen was up for the story. ---- ooc: sorry it's short. i'm taking a little member of my family to the airport. and traeh, i want to know more about this plot twist. i'm very interested ( :
