Really? I'm looking at it now, and it seems like the sound finishes before Sora makes any sound. It also plays several other times afterwards. The waterfalls sound pretty quiet too, but if it's a problem I feel like it you could edit it out by recording some white noise (or even getting a sample of the waterfall with nothing else). I haven't done it personally, but I know Audacity can edit out background noise, provided you have an isolated clip of just that noise. Also in case you didn't figure it out, the clip of Diz's computer that I was referring to is actually at the start of Roxas Day Three, after the flashback sequence. The series of beeps. But if you got what you needed already, then cool.
A lot of sfx are separated in weird ways (like a single beep per file) in the files of kh2, so a usable direct rip would be difficult to get. There are however (if memory serves) pretty good points during cutscenes that both those can be isolated. A tiny bit of ambient sound maybe, but pretty clean. At the end of Roxas Day Two, and the First Visit to Hollow Bastion, right before Yuffie shows up. You can get them in high quality from our Cutscene Archive, under the Media tab.

Kingdom Hearts: Chronology is an episodic cutscene series that weaves together all KH games into a single timeline. It's a great way to see how all the games and sub-plots fit together. Truth be told this project is actually years in the making. Seven years ago I completed a BBS Chronology (which was featured a couple times on this site, actually), as well as one for Re:CoM, which I never bothered to upload anywhere. This new series is an expansion on that, but HD-ified, and with a few inaccuracies cleaned up. Hey bud. I DM’d you two months ago, explicitly asking if you had any concerns about the site/discord. That would’ve been a great opportunity to air this out and address it sooner. But regardless it’s good to hear from you. As for me I’m doing mostly external things for the site right now, such as managing the Twitter account, doing a little networking, and editing a YouTube project that’s launching this weekend. The latter has actually been taking up most of my free time lol I’m hoping to be on Discord more soon too. I just don’t want to be on my phone too much for the first couple months of my new job.

They were captured in high quality at launch. It sounds pretty complete here: As for extraction, just last week people (keytotruth and others) were able to start diving into the game files. So far they only got models, but they're working on textures, and probably audio files as well.
I feel like if this is real, they may be rushing to change their reveal schedule, and save this one for last, when people have already forgotten or dismissed it as fake. That’s just a guess though. As for the Unversed comment, I don’t think that disproves anything. We’ve seen Heartless and Nobodies return, and there’s been heavy speculation that Vanitas will be making a comeback as part of the new Organization XIII. I wasn’t necessarily expecting Unversed to return, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised either. Now, the images could still be fake, but to me that’s not proof of it.

If real, the images show a clearly unfinished version of the game, in part because it has an Unreal Engine 4 debug menu overlayed, and the character portraits do not reflect their new looks. The images were supposedly found on an FTP server, before being quickly taken down. Speculating on what could’ve happened: they may have been intended to be shared on an internal server (ie. for a progress report), but were uploaded to a public facing FTP instead. But again, there is absolutely no confirmation that the screens are real, so take this with a grain of salt. What do you think: do they look legit to you? There definitely aren’t any Kingdom Hearts games on 360 lol Not any official ones that could be legally sold in stores at least. It would help if you had an image of what your friends found.
Patch 1.19/1.20 is live. The key feature in this update is the addition of Character Swap, which lets you take control of any of the four main characters during battle, by holding L1 + L2 and pressing a direction on the D-Pad (PS4). Each character has to be unlocked on the Ascension grid, under "Techniques" for 20 AP (or about 45 AP, if earlier nodes aren't unlocked yet). This update also adds the data for Episode Ignis (unlocks December 13), and has some bug fixes/optimizations for Comrades multiplayer DLC.
