Yeah I think you're right: "Norting" is a casual term that's thrown around, but it only really happened to Terra. The yellow eyes seem to just be a sign that they've been "marked" as a vessel: more of a cult-like promise than anything. It also seems like the meaning of yellow eyes/pointed ears has changed over time. It used to mean "Xehanort" from what I remember from old Nomura interviews, but I don't think that's the case anymore. It probably is just a sign of corruption. We see in KH3 Young Xehanort originally had silver eyes and regular ears. This likely changed when he started going out into the Lanes Between without his armor (Xehanort Report 2). Also backed up by the fact that Xigbar retains those features after Xehanort is gone. (Side note: I don't know if it matters much, but I wonder if Xigbar was "recompleted" or just faked his death and remains a nobody. I got the sense he actually "died", but it was left ambiguous.) Aqua's a weird case. She goes under a much more drastic transformation than any members of the Real Org. XIII, and it looks to be on-going. Her hair is mostly white but still a hint of blue, and darkness encroaches from her limbs and clouds her mind. If it continued she may have ended up as a Darkling or some other monstrosity. To me it's less believable that Ansem SoD was able to do all that, and more likely it was a result of falling into "the great abyss" as Mickey calls it. The water below the realm of darkness is just an all-consuming abyss: supposedly the same one (or parallel to it) that Sora fell into near the end of DDD (according to Riku). Ven's armor protected him from corruption, but otherwise would've probably ended up in a similar state. But yeah, to actually Nort the whole Organization in the true sense, Xehanort would have to "hook them up to Kingdom Hearts" as Xigbar said in DDD. Otherwise they retain their own wills/consciousness. I assume what we see in Scala, with all 13 attacking as a single-minded unit, is the fully-realized version of that.
I mean if you really want I can delete your account: if for whatever reason, simply not signing in isn't enough. There's other options too. Send...
The .zip files are up and running: you can now download everything with just a couple clicks :)
Four videos added: Keyblade Graveyard Scala ad Caelum Ending + Credits Epilogue + Secret Ending That's a wrap! Like I said, I'm taking a little break before diving into re-recording with no subs and Kingdom Key. In case there's anyone holding out for the .zip files so you can download everything at once, I'll post once more when those are up.
Two videos added: Land of Departure The Badlands + The Final World I'm still working on the rest and they may be out as early as tonight or tomorrow, but in case they aren't I wanted to get this posted. Almost there!
Four videos added: Arendelle The Caribbean San Fransokyo That’s all for Disney worlds: we’re heading into the endgame now: Dark World (Second Visit) Just one or two more updates and KH3 will be complete! As for no subtitle/ Kingdom Key only recordings, I may wait a liiittle bit if there’s a new patch on the horizon that may improve performance, or change/add anything. Won’t be a long break, if any.
Two videos added: Monstropolis Hundred Acre Wood I wanted to get another one in this batch, but ran out of time and I'm away this weekend. Remaining Disney worlds should be done next week.
Two videos added: Toy Box Kingdom of Corona Had some rendering errors so I'm a little behind. Will probably have another one up tomorrow, but I'll wait until there's at least 2 to post another update.
I want to get the next four worlds up within two days. Whole game's recorded, just a matter of editing, rendering, and uploading.
Just a little passed that right now. Just beat Kingdom of Corona two days ago (did Toy Box first). On Proud Mode, which is honestly still way too easy, reminds of original KH2 difficulty, possibly easier.
View attachment 50224 Hey everyone! I hope you're all enjoying Kingdom Hearts 3! For many of us this'll be our first full weekend with the game. As I make my way through I've been recording cutscenes, and I'm happy to say I've got the first batch ready for download! As of this initial post there are only the first few worlds (6 videos total with intro and menu trailer), but I will be posting updates in this thread as I make progress. If you'd like to stay in the loop of what's available, click "Watch Thread" at the bottom of the page to receive notifications. I'll be saying how many videos were added, and the world names hidden in spoiler tags in case you aren't caught up and don't want to know. Bear in mind that the cutscene archive itself will have world names and thumbnails, so be careful if you are avoiding spoilers. I now present our shiny new Kingdom Hearts III Cutscene Archive! The scenes on this page are captured from my first playthrough, so they will have whatever Keyblade I was using at the time. However once I'm completely done, I plan on recording everything again using Theater Mode so it is Kingdom Key only, and that version will have subtitles turned off. There may be less scenes in the later version (any small clips that didn't make it into Theater Mode), but it will have smoother edits and be generally better for watching. As always, you can find cutscenes from all of the Kingdom Hearts games on the main page of our Cutscene Archive. Enjoy!
The link now points to the correct file, sorry about that!
So these would be in the Writer's Nook, and you want them restored? Can you remember (at least approximately) what the threads were called?
Hey everyone, You may have noticed we had some downtime over the weekend. As it turns out there is an unexpected restriction on the size of our database which wasn’t made clear when switching to our new host, and so we had to scale back a bit. The good news is the recent database errors should stop, but unfortunately we had to disable the site’s search function, and delete a large portion of posts from 2009 and earlier (Role-Playing Arena posts have not been touched). We have backups of all posts, so no data was actually lost, and specific threads can be restored upon request. Furthermore, your post count has not been affected. Over the next few weeks we’ll be assessing whether we want to stay on this host, or if there’s an affordable alternative we can move to. Apologies for the inconvenience, we’ll keep you updated.
Maintenance is over, we're now on our new host! Let us know if you see anything not working properly.
Maintenance will begin somewhere between 7 and 9 PM Eastern. We recommend wrapping up anything you’re doing before that time, or saving it and waiting till we’re back online.
View attachment 49897 Hey all, We'll be down for maintenance shortly in order to switch over to our new host. We're just waiting on them for one last thing, and then we'll be ready to go. UPDATE 1: Bit of a technical hitch so we’re delayed a little. We’re hoping to have this done sometime today and will give some warning (on Discord and here). But just in case you miss the warning, if you’re writing anything long-form, we suggest having it saved in a text file on your computer/phone. UPDATE 2: Maintenance will begin somewhere between 7 and 9 PM Eastern Time. We recommend wrapping up anything you’re doing before that time, or saving it and waiting till we’re back online. UPDATE 3: We're back! Eveything's set up and should look as it did before. If you see anything not working correctly let us know. Thanks for your patience. Onward!
Unfortunately Mandy Moore has not been confirmed, but all the others are exciting.
While I'm not good at making the bed, I always make sure to at least flatten out the sheets so it doesn't look like a messy ball. I'm certainly not a neat freak, but I've come to appreciate that little things can have a positive impact on my mental state. Feeling like you're in control of the place you live, rather than simply existing there, can significantly lower stress levels. To go along with that, it's important to clean every so often. Depends on your tolerance, but I'd say it's good to, at a minimum, clean your place every other week. I like to do that on Fridays when I get home, so it's not hanging over me all weekend. And it doesn't have to be all at once. You can say "today I'm gonna tidy up my room and wipe down the bathroom. Next week I'll do the kitchen." Make it manageable: I know it can be tough to find time when you're working, and on weekends you just want to chill. Putting on a podcast or music while cleaning will make it enjoyable. Like Aelin said, make extra food so you don't have to worry about it everyday. I'd also say it's good to have some quick options that are very simple to make, in case you fall behind and run out of prepared meals. For example I like to make Pita Bread pizzas (with chicken nuggets on top) in the toaster. Takes 10-15 minutes and doesn't create any dishes for me to wash, other than the plate/utensils I eat with. Ramen with eggs/frozen veggies is also a favorite of mine. And having some store-bought frozen meals is good for emergencies. This may be an uncommon problem, but sometimes I get wrapped up in something and will forget to eat for a long time, then I'm starving and don't have the energy to cook a full meal, so I heat something up real quick which gives me the energy to make something more substantial. Ideally you don't get to that point lol but it is a backup. Also make sure to eat all the cookies and donuts you want, because no one can tell you not to :P
I noticed that too, fixed it lol And thanks man :)
