My attendance that year was actually so bad that I almost lost all credit and had to go through an appeal process and try to lie my way into making them believe that I was absent so often for good reason. I just hated school and a lot of good games came out that year.
They advised you not to drink from straws or eat anything that required you to do any sort of sucking (hurrrr), right? A dry socket happens when the clot that forms where the tooth was removed detaches or separates, which leaves the bone underneath exposed, AKA 'dry'. It's terrible and painful and if it happens you will unfortunately die.
My senior year of high school, I had 73 absences in one semester. Get on my level.
Make sure you take extra care when you start to eat food again that you don't get dry sockets. Dry sockets are the worst thing ever.

Do you have a cold? Whenever I get one, I realize how much I take for granted all of the time that I don't have a stuffy nose. Like right now. I don't have one. 360 days out of the year I -don't- have a runny nose, and that, my friend, is a beautiful thing.
