Hey Jaden, would this card allow me to special summon immediately after playing it? [IMG]
Holy Marks is one of the new decks out there, right? With the new series? Forgive my lack of info, I've been living under a rock (without internet or cable) for a while.
Eh honestly I think I'm better with the draw. My old deck was adapted to work no matter what hand I'm dealt with. Here, a single flawlessly performed combo can kick me to the curb. But I like the challenge of it, gives me an incentive to come up with better strategies. I'd rather duel with Jaden because like I said I knew him waaaaay back over a year or so. That and we both need to dust off our game and we'd probably get wiped out quickly against newer strategies. Better to get the feel of the game back first, then edit your deck later. That and I've been meaning to duel Jaden since he wiped the floor with me last time.
I'm fine with that. Your move, right? Wingly, if you want I'll duel you after Jaden. If I don't get wiped the floor with too badly
Sounds good, don't expect me to last very long though xD Oh and I'll get back in character once the duel starts. Haven't had time to find my old pictures yet. Want the terms you asked before? (since I'm too lazy to suggest my own) Oooh, three-way duel. I haven't done one of those here before, as far as I can remember. That sound good with you, Jaden?
You're right, that is the smart thing to do. Some people I know like to innovate their old decks with new strategies though, and Jaden's the only member I recognize here anymore (where is everybody?!), and he usually helps me with my water decks. But I'm up to duel anyone really.
That's amazing. Wouldn't a concept like that be extremely exploitable though depending on the cards you use?
Birth By Sleep was considered to be a "console game" by Nomura. So we could call that Kingdom Hearts 0.5 (exposition), added to the fact that it contains the biggest plot points of the whole series and (somewhat) follows Sora's timeline without him being the main character. Kingdom Hearts 1 was the beginning of the series, and followed Sora's timeline, so obviously it's classified as a main title. CoM was ported to the PS2 after a large protest from the fans, but was still treated as an "exposition game" since it has major plot points and follows Sora's timeline. 358/2 Days had very little to do with the overall plot whatsoever, therefore it is filler. Kingdom Hearts 2 followed Sora's timeline, had major plot points and follows the exposition game, therefore it is a main title. Coded has little to build upon the plot at all since the main plot points it contributes are automatically known once you play KH3D, and it doesn't follow Sora's timeline, therefore it is filler. Spoiler Since you play as Data Sora. With this in mind, Dream Drop Distance, since it follows Sora's timeline and is after KH2 and before KH3, is the next Exposition Game and not KH3. Am I the only one that sees the pattern?
Whoa. These are some flashy new cards. . . But do the stars/ranks count as stars in some card effects? For example, Gravity Bind. Would that make...
Well to me Poker is less gambling and more of a gambling/sport hybrid. The skill involved is being able to use what you're dealt with to your advantage. But you have a point. . . . Brb Google.
From what I've seen of trailers and the game's opening, this game won't JUST be the Mark of Mastery. There could be very important plot points that make the cut for "main title". We simply don't know yet. As for the interview, yes, I've seen it. But this thread isn't about the deep meaning behind the title but why it needs a complicated title in the first place, instead of just calling it KH3.
Well if you're still dueling, how about helping me dust off my game? I need to see how outdated my deck is xD
Spoiler The only real relevancy Coded has to 3D is the discovery of data from other people inside Sora, and Yen Sid deciding to put Sora and Riku through the Mark of Mastery Exam. Both of which could be figured out just by playing 3D. So it doesn't hold much purpose, IMO. Plus the Sora in Coded isn't actually Sora, which doesn't make it a part of the main storyline (Sora's timeline).
I'm just saying because I was wondering, why the complicated title? But now I see a pattern here. First game, exposition, second game, (insert filler here) exposition, third game. Maybe we've finally cracked Nomura's storyline blueprint!
True. Then again most people I know considered CoM to be a Kingdom Hearts 1.5, as it was a key part in the main storyline. With that in mind, would this be a Kingdom Hearts 2.5?
Seeing as how Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance is technically the continuation of Sora's storyline, Can it technically be called Kingdom Hearts 3? Discuss.
Try using Anti's digits in Sora's UCM EDIT: 11CE0B68 00000059

Hrm. How about the things I need to know? xD Duly noted.
So Jaden, what all have I missed?
