To get me back into the swing of using KH Vids and such, I'm gonna open an old-fashioned KHV RPing thread! It's been 7 years since I last RPed here, and I think it's time that I pay a visit back and earn some time on this website again! So here's my thread: - Discordia - Inspired by Dissidia: Final Fantasy and Shonen Jump All Stars series Basis of the Story: Gods of utter purity and destruction clash wills as they test the might of one another. As order and chaos clash, warriors for each are drawn into play as members of an elite army form to clash head-to-head in all-out warfare. After many cycles and lifetimes pass, new dimensions and warriors are tampered with in bringing together a world filled with bloodshed to rival the greatest wars of history. Who will win in this eternal struggle for victory? Will order seek balance and bring the world to complete peace? Will chaos turn tides in its own favor and corrupt all that is known to the worlds thrown into this clash? Basics For Roleplaying: - Anime and Manga universes collide in Dissidia-inspired style! - There are four classes of Characters from each series: Warrior of Light, Page of Order, Pawn of Chaos, and Denizen of Darkness. - Each character corresponds as expected; that is, except for Pawn of Chaos. A Pawn of Chaos can be a character sided on the lines of Order, but Chaos has tainted their heart in the past or present. - Areas pay homage to source material. Fighters will traverse over elements of worlds comprised from the manga/anime they originate. - Our main target is having fun, so let's have at it! Rules: - Complete sentence roleplaying is a must. I'm not asking for A+ grammar or spelling, but just enough so that other roleplayers understand what's being said. - No god-modding. - Each RPer is allowed one of each class. Shinji sneered at the newcomer, not very welcome to the whole 'god' complex the other was forcing. Yes, he accepted that there were bigger and better people out there than him; but he would never subject himself to putting anyone in his divine outlook. He would keep to himself, however, as attention averted away from the show-off. If that weapon could be used against this freak, he'd be more than happy to shut him up...
As Styme finished, he took in the chirping of the assorted others. No one seemed enthusiastic except for one girl, and it all seemed like a mess to him. Shinji wasn't one for groups, either. Surprise, surprise-- right? Being added to a group of other anti-socials and one jovial member seemed a little far-fetched to the teen, taking easy stride towards the group. Palms pressing in pockets toward denim surfacing, he decided to let his lips open for once. "Shinji Tachibana," rolled off his tongue eloquently, dark spikes canting with his cranium as he took everyone in. And guess what? He left it at that. Apart from the others that left, however, he made the decision to stick around and hear about the others. He was against the idea of groups... but just like every other time, he knew feelings would develop eventually. Just like with his deceased family, he would eventually lose all of them... but that wouldn't stop his emotions. Emotional attachment was something he would never get over. It made Shinji who it was. A light emerald glow beamed from his hood, weighing down in the back as it acted as the carrier for the ornament. He wasn't exactly ready to reveal his weapon, but he knew the time would come. Sticking toward the group, the glow still resonated upon the meeting of the so called 'heroes.'

It doesn't take long for him to warm up to you. Brief Bio: Taught from a young age in swordplay, Shinji grew up in a household of great warriors. However, all was lost to him when the clan was vanquished in the dead of night. Shinji still wonders to this day what wiped his clan from their world, but it hasn't stopped him. Once more activity picks up here, I'm gonna assign groups of characters and have them interact together and such in this post. || !! OOC THREAD HERE !! Roxas24Sora presents... - = DISCORDIA = - Worlds Collide The universes shifted to bend at the will of the gods. All was under their control as entities of both order and chaos clashed within the realm, sending all sorts of unbalance through the system. This was just what the god of death wanted, shifting reality as the worlds knew it into a vast differentiation. There was no one safe to his power, except those blessed by the light. See, the god of life wanted to restore the balance by taking apart the chaos with her own soldiers. With the darkness harboring its own army, war soon clashed between the heroes and villains of eras past. All clashed on the field of war, taking hit after hit no matter how painful the experience was. It seemed to last for ages... And we start on the First Cycle. Cycle One: New Beginnings A god of the new world he must be; but without the note on which he wrote, heaven's gates he shall never see. The Death Note, a power within the reaches of only gods who hold the power of death. Every once in a while, the Death Note finds its way into human reach, and becomes a threat to those who oppose it. Even in the battle of gods, the Death Note still holds malicious power... Ryuk, a Shinigami who harbors a love for apples, remembers his time in an era where Light Yagami was introduced to the notebook. The Shinigami served as a right hand man, only visible to the distinct few that Light trusted. Entitling himself as Kira, Ryuk grew entertained with Light's run with the death book. Once the fun ended, however, Ryuk went back to life in the Shinigami realm... That is, until wind was caught of the Great War. Even Shinigami knew of the war of gods, the great order fighting with the great calamity. It grew to interest Ryuk more as word also spread of the infamous Kira's inclusion. Chosen as a representative for the chaotic evil, it seemed as though Light Yagami was chosen for something just in time after his untimely demise. All Ryuk could do was snicker as he concocted a plan... one so maniacal, that he would once again use the student of murder and bring more despair to the opposing forces. Appearing to the gods, Ryuk hatched his game of sorts with a challenge between the two; whomever found his notebook in the land he chose, said side would do whatever they deemed necessary with the condemned literature. The god of order, wanting to bring ruin to the book entirely, challenged the chaotic being that wanted the Death Note for supreme bloodshed. With Ryuk's sinister scheme unfurling, way was made toward the destination of choice. The Arabic island of Sindria, home of the great Ruler of the Seven Seas, held contest for the notebook's presence. "Humans are... so interesting!" Group One's Members: Naruto Uzumaki Shu Ouma Inori Yuzuhira Killua Zoldyck Location: Sindria's Beach Objective: Find the Death Note and destroy it before it falls into enemy hands. Group Two Members: Kirito Gray Fullbuster Seto Kaiba Location: Sindria's Oasis Objective: Distract the enemy from finding the Death Note! Buy your first group time as they search for the notebook. Group Three Members: Madara Uchiha Death Gun Gai Tsutsugami Light Yagami Location: Sindria's Rainforest Objective: Find the Death Note. We're a metalcore/ melodicore band that has a few songs up. We're in the recording process of an EP right now, titled "Somewhere Between Safe And Sorry". We'll have better recordings up soon. *sigh* It seems like only yesterday we were RPing and having fun doing it... Now the days pass and I realize this took place two years ago... I have talked to only one of you on a regular basis (and by regular, I mean once every week... thanks to my family...), which saddens me... Considering that we used to talk everyday..... Gosh.... I'm litteraly in tears now...... I miss this, guys... And more importantly...... I miss all of you.... ='( I know it was just RPing........ but you guys were family.
