Every file within the mself is encrypted with sdat v4. There is no decryption for the PC yet (if ever) so we need a cfw PS3 and that file asmodean uploaded to enable decrypting over a ps3

I thought the video would at least be 1080p PS4 version please Well I think encoding to 720p mpeg-2 can be possible. Quality will be lost though because of the compression and a bigger file size indeed, but at least it will be there in HD :D. Interesting that the folder structure is the same. I wonder if Crazycat's ARD tools would still work on 1.5's ARDs? I know the MDLS header is different. Regardless the real modifications for the game must be in the SLPS file. I bet Crazycat would love to be all over that. Is kanji.knj still in there? That's where the font is.
Well the original team is busy porting a PS3 game in the PS4 while making new assets and all that. Talking about FFXV. I don't blame those two programmers from Osaka. I applaud them for remastering the game above average than others, but it's still not good enough.
ok. I don't think PS2 can play Mp4 videos, but we can always convert to mpeg-2. I know 720p and 1080i at least work for that.

I wouldn't mind if we could somehow be able to convert it. The videos are mp4 format right? That's different from whatever .dat files that are in the original game.[DOUBLEPOST=1380212734][/DOUBLEPOST]And I think you can extract the mself file you just have to decrypt everything inside of that.
On the Xentax thread someone posted a model from 1.5 on there. Falo said the. Cvbb file contains the model. I was always going to buy it, but I keep contemplating whether I should buy the game or wait and see if they eventually bring out a PS4 version, because I don't have a PS3 (don't really plan on buying one) and if they release a PS4 version then I am there day one.

I should switch to 3DS max at least for a trial, but it refuses to download for me.[DOUBLEPOST=1380152320][/DOUBLEPOST]I've just rigged Mickey's com model to his KH1 bones ( for canon reasons) Wish I knew how to convert the dae to mdls :( Or actually .cvbb since that's the real model mdls is like a container holding textures, models, etc. If we can figure out how to convert dae to cvbb then zip it back to mdls with the respective textures then we have something going for us.
The model rigging is somewhat hard lol Trying to rig DDD Sora to Kh1 Sora's bones for practice. I know it's better to wait for 1.5's files for the mdls. However I think some of the Heartless models in 1.5 aren't changed and I would love to port the KH2 heartless that were in KH1 over.
There is still aline for that in there though and obviously other parts too. You can't just delete lines
