To fix the game. lol Xeenaymo left so many grammatical and spelling errors in the patch. Plus it will allow us to accurately patch up KH2FM in the future
I wonder if this could get us a function camera that KH2 uses. Plus those zoomed in cutscenes can be better made for 16x9 if we are able to change the DOF
Things are going by slow. Trying to figure out or at least see what's inside these mdls files. I wish I could extract them, but I am finding it hard with QuickBMS since the files seem to be at the end of the archive instead of the beginning like most game files. Anyone inquire some help. I figured it wouldn't be as hard to figure out like how Falo did for 1.5's models, but you never know. There are a couple of things to notice: SeSep files (which I think contain the sounds and voices) Some unnamed (assumely .DAT files or maybe texture files) And then there is this CLS in the header and for some mdls files you can find like worldcode_modelname.bd which I assume holds the mesh and skeleton.

Nah, character portraits are in the mdls container. I have the lock on icons and exclamination/quesiton mark icons. But I am not daring to mess with the command menu it's kinda strange in appearance. Maybe Crazycat or someone else can give me the 1.5 UI command textures
So if I want to edit the UI for 16x9 what should I do? Got the textures how do I squeeze them now?

TruthKey apparently has most files decrypted. I don't know if that's true or not though.
It's definitely interesting. The dude is a game programmer. He probably made his own control panel so to speak. Maybe modified PCSX2 too. We shall see. :D

Oh yeah Traverse Town is the showcase. You could say post production add in, but the transition between Traverse Town and Night of Fate sounds like how the game does it. We have to wait till the end of the playthrough to get the tools, but only if interest is kept. There is this guy that is splicing 358/2 days cutscenes with his playthrough post prodduction. You should check him out That being said, wouldn't it be cool to like hack KH2FM into 358/2 days. eg. We could get Hooded Roxas rigged to playable Roxas's skeleton have the Axel ally and all that. Maybe create new moves and animations if we were able to crack the animation format. Xentax forums was doing that for a while...
