Like the Kingdom Hearts posts, it's like people think the forum's dedicated to the topic.
You never stated that you wanted help with your Slender Man fear, so we could not help you prior to you saying that.
Link is the cliche silent protagonist(Whoa, whoa, I love the guy, don't hate me), and that needs to stay, Sonic was silent, then he spoke, it ruined his character, and more characters from the older generation of consoles(Not saying that it never works). I highly doubt Nintendo will do this, considering how the fans are very stubborn about Link staying silent(I agree). NPCs I have no problem with, as long as the voice actors are good. I don't want Zelda to sound like a whiny little American teenager, and I don't want the guide to sound like a mouse on helium, and no Russian Ganondorf either, and Nintendo makes Fire Emblem, I know they can get good voice actors.
More plot obviously opens up to more atmosphere, but Slender made use of no plot, this game probably has more atmosphere because of the plot, but atmosphere doesn't need plot, better atmosphere does, but plot is not a necessity.
It is also referenced loads in the TF2 web comics(I don't read them, but I heard that it is), and whenever another character puts on the mask, they get extremely traumatized.
I don't see how this video is so wrong, it's Valve, they do stupid things like this, it's supposed to be stupid. The game even has "pyro-vision" as an option if you are the Pyro, and you shoot rainbows, enemies burst into confetti, and your axe is a lollipop.
That's what gives the game it's atmosphere though, the lack of plot. You are given the task to find 8 pages, each with creepy messages on them, with each page, the music grows louder, more urgent, giving the game pretty good atmosphere for a short game.
In the trailer there is a clip of Link battling Moldorm, the boss from the Tower of Hera, the third temple, so the game will probably be a sequel in spirit. If they only use the stylus that would ruin the experience, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks were made around the idea, so they kind of worked, but a Link To The Past wasn't, so I highly doubt the game will be stylus only. I think the concept could work well though, but none of the best potential was shown, ie. A boss centered around the idea. The thing that was the biggest blow was that the magic meter doubles up as a stamina meter, from Skyward Sword, the dreaded Stamina meter returns.

At least Link's hair isn't purple. I'm surprised I am not that enthusiastic about this, I have played Link To The Past, and thoroughly enjoyed it, I don't see how there could be a sequel to LTTP, I think the game ends fine, I wasn't dying for a sequel, but I hope this turns out well.
1. Play some video games.(Self explanatory) 2.Watch some anime.(None of this Bleach, One Piece ****, the good SHORT animes, you know, the ones that END.) 3.Sleep.(My favorite hobby, serious here, I pick sleep over everything.) 4.Read a book/manga 5.Make a sandwich.(The greatest invention ever.) 6.Then eat it.(Food's good, helps you live) 7.Read some webcomics.(The half-decent ones, most tend to be bad) 8.Talk a walk, at night.(I sound crazy, but everything looks better at night, by night I mean when It's dark, not 2 in the morning when the drug addicts and murderers get out, even if I do live in the most un-extreme(It's a word now) town on Earth.) 9.Listen to Music.(And stand COMPLETELY still.) 10.Watch youtube.(When life serves no meaning.)
I really does depend who is making it. If Atlus makes it, it will be SMT, if it is Nintendo, it will be FE. I hope to god that is actually a good crossover, when the developers actually work together, because most crossovers are just developers getting other characters and throwing them into the game, do I hope no series has a larger role then the other, not even because I like both series, but because I want them to work together.
I wouldn't be surprised if Namco Bandai is just playing it safe. A lot of JRPGs do very poorly in America and/or Japan, and because of that, a lot of Japanese developers don't bring the game to the rest of the world or print fewer copies, Namco Bandai is probably going for the former(With most of the series), and this is all because of one game series, Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy really drowns out the other JRPGs, some of which really are gems of it's system.
The Megaman series will never get a reboot. Many speculate a rebirth of the 8-bit hero, but I digress. If they wanted to keep making Megaman games, they would have, it wasn't as if Megaman was selling poorly, quite the opposite. Capcom still has the rights to Megaman, but Keiji Inafune, the "Father of Megaman" has left Capcom, and in Japan, creator's of games have a really important influence. Miyamoto for example practically runs Nintendo, and Kingdom Hearts' Tetsuya Nomura is really influential to the series, only characters from a select number of Final Fantasy games make an appearance? The reason? Tetsuya designed the characters. None of this fully explains why they haven't made another Megaman game under this criteria except for respect, which I highly doubt though.
This game will probably be a giant kick in the balls,, Fire Emblem has permadeath, when a character dies, he/she is dead forever, there aren't any revival items, no churches, nothing, if he/she dies, they're dead forever, and this crossover will probably be no different, Shin Megami Tensei allows you to negotiate with demons, get them on your team, and there are chances to get very rare and powerful demons, and usually dark/light magic is very powerful, and if a demon has a weakness to any of them, the will get most likey get OHKO'd, meaning they will be dead forever in the crossover. Not to mention the game alone aren't easy, they aren't Gradius 3 standards, but they still pose some challenge. This isn't saying the game is going to be bad, and a bit of challenge is always welcome, I thought I should point that out.
