Monster Anatomy wasn't her favorite subject, but for one of the school's top students to daze off for such an unimportant reason would be rather out of character. Every fact presented to them by the teacher was written down neatly in a notebook before her. The same happened in every class, for as she was someone unsure of their future she figured the more she learns the more options there'd be when she finally decides to take the matter seriously. Besides, it wasn't like there was anything else to do.

It was a meaningless existence and yet it carried on. The thought of ending it, however, never crossed her mind. In fact, hardly anything but school related matters could be found floating around her head, as they were the focus of her life. So when metallic sounds were heard, distracting her from the lecture, Abi's eyes slide to the right, noticing the girl next to her waving her feet back and forth. If it weren't for her being right there, she probably would not have noticed the small sounds. So at least the bunny-eared girl was considerate, she assumed, so the noise was excused. She would just have to ignore it and-

    Suddenly, the teacher stopped talking.

Perking her head up Abi realized it was due to someone speaking on the intercom now. So class would be put on hold. That was okay, for as soon as the announcement ended it would - "Albina Kegan."

Her heart began racing at the mention of her name. Never had she done anything wrong throughout her time at this school so it could not have been for a bad thing. However her nerves were being tested anyway as the voice continued through the list of names. To ease them she began packing her things, forcing shaky breaths while doing so. Would her perfect record be tainted now? Did that even matter?

Whether it mattered or not, she let out a huge sigh of relief once the person on the speakers said congratulations. So, it was a good thing. A small laugh was let out when she realized she had worried over nothing.

She would have to follow a few other students that were leaving, one being that bunny girl (maybe she was a little too fascinated by those ears...but they were rather cute. And bunny girl or bunny-eared was easier than remembering an actual name. She knew just about no one's after all.), but just as she reached the door one of them slammed it in front of her face. Sure whoever had called out at her was rude, but she was even worse by doing that!

"Oh..." she mumbled, unable to even complain about it mentally without feeling guilty. Still...

    I can't be that invisible... Can I?

The door was opened once more as Abi exited into the hall, heading in the direction the others had gone. Once they were in sight she slowed down, not wishing to face the wrathful one or even be roped into conversation. Just listening was more than enough.

Before he was able to greet the others, Elliot was thrown off balance. He caught himself on a couch, turning his gaze to the windows. It was a good thing they were already blown out now, for there would be no worries about the glass. Still, that hardly meant they were safe where they were. Underground. Right, that would be safest.

And as if on cue Theodore had started to say the same thing. Elliot moved to the elevator, already knowing how to get to their desired stop. Was Theo really waiting behind though? He had to if he was to get the rest... And he knew the labs the best so surely he'd be safe. Still...he worried. "If it gets worse, forget the rest and get to safety," he said to his friend, waiting a few moments so others could board the elevator.

Three more joined him, causing him to feel as if that would be enough not to be considered selfish so they could go now because he really detested the idea of waiting here for too long. Though he didn't even have to be the one to type in the code, for someone else beat him to the punch. Oh, well that was wonderful. They made it to the tunnels without incident and once he entered them he turned back to face the entrance, hoping to see Theodore coming down soon.

While perfectly capable to get down on her own, Yana did not wish to hear the word yank again as she still did not know what it meant. So she used Jack's hand, landing on the ground moments after their ride had stopped. Once down a quick survey of the land was taken. So far, their target was not in sight. That meant they had to go inside... Straight through the front entrance or a backaway, she wondered. Either way a fight had to be closing in so her weapon was summoned once more as the mouse waited for the others to prepare.

Elliot found no reason to remain there so he left the area. After finding things to use for his wounds he grabbed them before moving to a room with a bed. He tended to the burns that covered a good part of his lower body, finding the ones near his feet the worst out of them. The rest weren't bad but it would be difficult to walk around for a while. What a shame.

Once they were properly tended to and bandaged the boy laid down and went to sleep.

"F-fine..." A lie, but whatever. "And maybe... I guess." It would be better if that wasn't true, not unless Plume won.

Everything ached. Surely some of his skin suffered some burns, however after a quick inspection it appeared that his clothes took much of the damage. Still, the burns would remain for quite some time. At least the mask spared him from inhaling smoke. Some fresh air would be nice right about now, but before removing it a change-

The ground shook. Looking to the window he noticed the cause, a bomb of sorts. Oh. Wonderful.

Once his balance was restored Elliot left the conference room to join Theodore just in time to catch the news report. As if the bombs weren't enough, but surely now they would be treated like the cause. People were idiotic like that, after all. They would miss that the fact the person doing this - who was probably actually a demon - did not automatically mean they were at fault. In fact, he was sure that some will treat it as if they had drop the bomb themselves instead of being the ones in danger.

The next bit, that they would be offered up to save everyone else, was an easy hypothesis. In fact, if it were not for him knowing that none of them even existed he would happily go along with that idea. However, as he had a chance to become real it felt as if he and this group were better than the rest of humanity. No one else should even be there.

    This will be troublesome...

Ignoring the pain caused by moving Elliot went to sit on the nearest chair, removing his mask to breathe easier. His gloves were also taken off, given the fact that the fire had ruined them. Luckily this place was clean enough for him to be able to continue focusing on the problem at hand, though once his lungs were filled with some air the mask was put back on. Having bare hands was never a problem at least, so long as he did not have to touch anything.

Is this one of the reasons why he was one of the first to catch fire... He and that Plume kid had to be the weakest links, if the order meant anything. He would be the next to die at this rate... Maybe he could prove that just because he was a germ freak that it did not mean he wouldn't take risks, as those two things seemed to tie in.

He could try another summoning... As one to catch fire it seemed like he would be the last to consider this, but the blame was placed on that psychic and masked girl since they were the ones to call the demon down who then proceeded to tell them that they messed up. He would have been more careful. Though no attempt would be made in the presence of this lot, especially since the number of them seemed off putting for their dear game master.

That made it a problem for later... So now to focus on the problem for now.

It was a stupid idea, to think this could be solved with a simple name change, but the thought crossed his mind anyway. At least he was smart enough to push it aside as quickly as it came. They would need to lay low. Here was a nice place, though with this being his father's workplace it would not last long. Would they need a warrant still when such a danger was presented? So much red tape could be jumped over in a situation like this...

A day, perhaps. Shock would last a bit, then a plan of action would need to be made for the other side as well. The school and his home would be checked first as well. So maybe even two days. Though once he considered the size of the labs the idea that he could hide if they ever search it and, if he was not found, the place would be checked off and become safe once again. Maybe.

"W-we need a plan to handle this... Ow... A night, here, at least. To rest and think..." He could not even run, not like this. He would need the burns checked out before anything, really. His mother might be of assistance, as he would not trust any strangers. If only he was naive enough to think that this would not be of much trouble to them. But humans were always trouble.

Some cold water would be nice...

Maybe his parents could set up a bank account in a country without an extradition law. Though maybe that idea only popped up due to a movie he recently saw... Seemed rather useless when running from something inhuman. It had to be one of the demons, right? Who else would have all their names and the power to drop such a missile...

Perhaps that deal thing he was thinking about earlier could save him. Though would he really be as selfish to make a deal to remove only his name from this list? It seemed like asking the whole thing to be called off to be too much, which is why he came to removing only one name. Though maybe three could be taken off... He wouldn't share this idea with the others either way.

First there was just a rising in temperature before a sudden appearance of flames. The mantra of stop, drop and roll was the first thing that popped into his head but first he wished to try and smother the flames as they were centered around his feet. So he lost the shoes and removed his jacket, hoping they worked like a normal fire and could be put out from being deprived of oxygen with the use of his jacket.

Vincent smiled at Azrael's reply, feeling a bit of pride for the girl. "I expect great things from the two of you." Once that was said he turned his attention to Wesley, his smile fading as he returned to his business mode. "Azrael will be working with the wedding planner and you will be a buyer looking for heavy weaponry for a terrorist cell you will be representing, so a guest in other words."

After thanking Jed for his good work with cleaning up the bar Rosalie retired to her apartment upstairs where she began her nightly routine. It involved a shower, dinner, and a marathon of whatever series she was into at the time. And while the show kept playing in the background the brunette drifted off into a deep slumber. Her dream consisted of the day's events, however the robbery did not go as well in the dream as it did in reality.

The masked men entered the bank, the doors turning into bricks behind them. This prevented Vergil from even entering it afterwards. Jeff was killed the moment the vault was unlocked. They were separated after that, locked in individual rooms. Gunshots were heard from the room she was in with the cat masked robber and she could only assume everyone was being killed off.

Expecting the same fate she looked up to meet the eyes of the robber just as he removed his mask.

    "Dad?"

The wrinkled face of the older male twisted as his lips formed a smile and he handed her his gun. "Leave this world the way you made me leave."

She no longer had control over herself as she lifted the gun, finding it suddenly turning into a pistol. The gun was pointed at her temple now and her eyes began to fill with tears. Was this how the ones she controlled felt? So helpless... Vulnerable. It was awful.

Then, as her finger started to squeeze the trigger, she closed her eyes and waited for death. However she found the morning instead when her eyes shot open, soon to be burned with the light falling on to her face from the window above the couch where she slept.

Once finished gasping the blanket was thrown off and Rosalie sat up. How stupid of a dream, for her father was not even dead. Not as far as she knew, anyway. She never even met the man, only knowing how he looked from old photographs and her imagination for a more present day appearance. He probably did not even share her power.

So while cursing herself for such stupidity she worked on erasing the dream from her memory as she made and ate breakfast. It had been done pretty successfully for the time she made her way downstairs all that remained was the man's face. It was there, disturbing her every time she even blinked, but she fought to ignore it as she unlocked the bar in case anyone decided to come over. It was still too early for it to open, and even though she only went along with it for the sake of the others, Rosalie couldn't wait until it was ready.

In the meantime, though, all she could do was work through its stocks and research the web about running a bar. Starting with the latter she sat at the bar with her laptop, scrolling through some pages.

She had decided to go with punching next, however before she could get her next move in one of the trainers called for their attention. His name was Issac, if she was remembering correctly, and the dark haired male had recently been promoted to agent but instead of going to travel the world on missions he opt'd to sticking around here to train the recruits. Poor choice, in her mind.

Once she turned to look at him he stated that they were due for the computer room in ten minutes, leaving them an opening to grab breakfast if they wished so long as they were not late. With that said her gaze returned to Cross and, after a sigh, she addressed him.

As Jane continued down the tunnel she noticed a bit of light, though it was masked with the fabric of her dress. Stopping to pull out the mirror she smiled with joy that she could see once more, though only barely at first as it was blinded to her dark adjusting eyes.

Giving them a moment to adjust she looked into the mirror with a faint smile, quietly cursing that this did not happen sooner. However given all the things she had to face it seemed wise to assume that they had just been busy.

"Hello? I'm... My name is Jane. Can you hear me?"

While speaking she did the best she could to keep moving, having the idea that staying still was the worst idea still.

The queen exited the princess' chambers so that she may changed. Once Kaileigh had finished and joined them in the hall the trio made their way to the dining hall where Abigail took her usual spot at the table and waited to be served.

"How rude of me to not ask if you've eaten already. Still, this presents us time to talk as we've yet to do so."

At the end of her sentence some fruit and a glass of wine was placed before her. Hardly a whole meal but as gluttony was frowned upon it was more than enough for the morning and would easily last until dinner. She ate a grape before speaking once more.

"Thank you for your kind words. We have done our best to keep our kingdom afloat in these troubling times, though I will not deny that it is from luck we have not suffered as much as we could have. I just hope that with this, both kingdoms can find peace." Arranged marriages were hardly something the queen approved of, and perhaps it showed in the last bit of he words that were tainted with a hint of bitterness for the expert ears, but it was far too late to go back on the deal now and it would be unwise to even try given her position. Besides, if it worked out in the end then there was nothing to complain of. She could only hope that her son would find happiness in this, but that could only be an afterthought now.

After a bit of running they came up to a hole, causing Kyle to come to a quick stop. Her feet slide against the ground, kicking rocks up as they went.

She looked around, seeing no other place to go. And despite the crumbling ground the thing seemed intact. It was a long shot but...it seemed to be their only shot. However, even though she was willing to take the risk she was unsure if Rick was. Wouldn't it be unfair to make his choice for him?

Though it was hardly like he could see the situation for himself and choose. So, after taking a deep breath, she jumped forward, Rick's arm still in her hand.

Perhaps it was due to the earlier exposure, but this time around Elliot had no objections that everything involving the email was real. Especially the fact that they did not exist. It lifted the burden of always worrying over school related things, enough so for him to miss some classes whenever needed. His routine even loosened up, but there hasn't been any other notable changes as of yet.

However, despite accepting everything he still wished to view it from a scientific stand-point, making the demon a scientist. A...magical one. But one nonetheless.

So it was a rather interesting idea, to trade with the thing now. He didn't really have anything to bring to the table though, and thus remained quiet throughout the meeting.

In the end they seemed wanting of a trade of rules, focusing on that romance rule. It seemed silly but no arguments were said. He could only wait and see if their method worked and then to see what the demon wanted in return.

There seemed to be a crossroad of sorts before her now, though without being able to see this was merely a guess formed after feeling around some. Well, maybe it was more of a fork in the road, so to speak.

Jane had hoped she could take her time here to think of a clever way to be able to check both tunnels or least pick one with some thought. But that would not be possible for as soon as the place began to shake she was forced to get a move on. She moved so quickly that she didn't even know which way she took, just that it was dark like the rest of the place. She could only hope it lead to the next area.

Kyle tried to speak, to protest against what the voice had said. But no matter how hard she tried her own would not work. And judging from how the man asked her if she could still see a guess was made that he could not. A strong sense of guilt overwhelmed her, but there would be no time for that.

To make up for his loss of sight Kyle grabbed his arm and pulled him in the direction they had been going, running as fast as she could.
