The girl made a noise that was something between a squeak and a whimper when the door opened. She really didn't know how to handle this and it was one of the easiest jobs someone in their group could do besides get food, something she was normally tasked with. Just the fact that she was asked this scared her, even though she could have said no. "H-h-h-i... I'm um... My name is..." after that her sentences became a jumbled mess as she momentarily forgot her own name. Then there was a moment of silence where she debated between trying again or running away. She chose trying again. "I'mRedFlagwouldyoupleasejoinVictoria?"
Another pretty character and video, as expected. It was a bit weird actually hearing them speak, but nice nonetheless. A lot easier to see their personalities this way and now there's more of an insight of the plot. So happy that it came out, so quickly from the last one too.
The saddest part about this is that everyone focused in on the drinking part when someone willing to rape someone will most likely do it at some point or another. The drinking simply gave them a chance to do it. Easier sure, but when it would happen even without it then I don't see why that is such a great focus. Wouldn't be much harder to whack someone on the back of the head as well. And I believe rapists should get no mercy, for what they do can be worse than murder. Murder can be done in self defense, there is justifiable murder after all. Rape is never justified though so the fact that it is so easily excused and overlooked in society disgusts me. (Don't confuse me saying rape is worse than murder with me saying murder isn't that bad. To rob someone of their loved one is horrible, but at least the victim's pain end there and then. A rape victim is forced to live with it for the rest of their life.) I say this to voice an opinion and vent anger that's been building for a while, not to debate it. Not the drinking part anyway, as that was just proven endless and I wouldn't have anything new to add.
As much as Abi wanted to be the one to stop the fighting she did not have the courage to do it. She would have just stayed in her head and blocked everything out but the moment her potential friend ran up she had to snap out of it to keep up. And then she heard the tattle, smiling widely at it. Despite not knowing Alayah's motives behind it she was glad it was done, for fighting when it was unnecessary was a pointless and cruel thing to do. She was glad that someone did something, other than just adding more violence into the mix. For even if the first girl to hit another had the attack coming it was a stupid thing to do. So she uttered a small thanks to Alayah before looking to Professor Fay, hoping something would be done or at least said about it. Though her attention was drawn away as her eyes drifted to the tower. Would all the important people be there, along with the rich? If so...would her family be there as well? Oh dear, here comes a whole new set of nerves.
[ Contact Information ► Mood: ... ► Location: Tunnels ► OOC: N/A ] Elliot followed her back to grab a flashlight as well and a bag that had some supplies in it in case they needed something to carry things back. It could have been emptied so it may carry more stuff, but it had medical supplies which could come in handy in case something dangerous happened, and he didn't want stuff like that on the dirty ground. Besides, who knew what else they could be used for. Then he went back and once Heidi said she was ready he turned on his flashlight as well and began down the tunnel opposite of the trucks. It was weird, doing this as he swore not to go in such a dark space, especially not only with one person who was also a stranger. But the space was not cramped and they had lights. Besides, just sitting around and thinking was getting him nowhere. He also figured that the fearful never made for winners, so this had to be done. He just hoped that this didn't get him killed.
Even though he might have laughed if he heard that his mother had died he still felt a bit of dread not knowing if she was okay or not. It wasn't like that laughter would be out of joy, after all. Either way he smiled now, thanking Heidi anyway. If only she hadn't said another curious thing though, for if she didn't he would walk away now. Not like he had anything to do, though. He was thinking of something at least, and maybe soon he would have- "Worse people?" He started, looking down at the girl with a thoughtful expression. There was a thought... "And...y-you know, we haven't been down this tunnel yet. Want to come with me to check it out?"
"Heidi," the name was repeated as he made a mental note of it. He wasn't keeping track of subjects and their numbers anymore, though if he could still study them that would have been great. To control the group would be so much fun, if he wasn't going to die soon that is. This one may be easy to trick, though besides a small feeling about that he could not know for sure. His focus was more on the mention of the hospital anyway. "Elliot. The h-hospital... Did you meet a doctor Karen Anderson?"
feeling incomplete but idealess
Oh. It would have been so nice to hear that the rain washed the toxins out of the air. However there were mountains around...if they left it could end up being safer out there. Though...this girl seemed rather healthy. Was the suit originally on her? "Pity... You, y-ouuu. What's you name? You girl, where were you staying?" Maybe there was some place better than the wilds, like a refugee camp or something. Though they really shouldn't risk going to a place where people might recognize them, especially if these people were sick, hungry, and homeless. Though it shouldn't matter where they went...he shouldn't even be thinking about that for his father had just the place for a time like this to be so he would go there, and without the rest. Couldn't go while exposed to the air though, which was why the trucks were such a wonderful sight. He wondered if Theodore would go with them...and if they could find Olivia on the way.
A dark haired male fixed his tie as he waited in front of the exit for the hospital, pacing slightly from time to time. In the waiting room nearby was a sleeping white haired child, though otherwise the place was empty besides a doctor or nurse passing by every now and then. Sometimes a new patient would arrive too, but they never stayed in this area for long. Slow day, for injuries and death. He wished to leave, finding the task too dull compared to what he normally did but an order was an order. Luckily, though, his goals soon presented itself, one being wheeled out and the other following behind. And while most were finished with whatever they had to do as far as forms and things at this point he still gave them some time, just in case, before finally approaching them when there were just the two of them. "Good morning," he started, his voice flat and tired, as his green eyes scanned the two thoroughly, "my name is Vincent Simmons and as I've come to understand the two of your were involved in the robbery yesterday and, thanks to some internet sources, you were also the heroes of the day." Vincent smiled as he took Thallen's hand into both of his own, shaking it happily, longer than a normal handshake would be, before doing the same to Nick. After doing so he paused to shift through thoughts and positions a bit before speaking once more. "Talking we," he coughed, "we should talk some, if you have the time." A burnette teenager fiddled with the pink flower hair clips she wore as she stood outside the designated location, nervously shifting her weight from one foot to the other. This was the first job she had to do on her own so she was rather uncertain if she could pull it off or not. Failure was so scary. It had to be done though. He was relying on her, he trusted her. To let him down would be so much worse than the girl she was sent to talk to being mean. And she was just horrid with mean people. But this had to be done. So she took a deep breath before knocking on the door of Teagan's home.
The girl who spoke to her had such an intense personality, too intense for someone like Abi. She could not even keep up with what the other was saying, not while also trying to listen for an answer from the professor. It was a bit much. In fact, all she could manage was a smile and nod until the professor stopped answering questions and they began walking. "I don't think I've ever been to the tower before..." If she has, she's forgotten. And the sentence didn't respond to anything Alayah had said, which made Abi feel guilty, but it was the only thing she could say without blurting out worries about her parents knowing about this. Were they proud? Or ashamed? Even if it was the former their reactions frightened her. It caused a visible shudder, one she tried to mask by speaking once more. "Have you?" Her question trailed off as she heard a commotion behind her. Were they really starting fights in a professor's presence? That wasn't very smart... Especially after they were picked to go to the tower. However, she couldn't bring herself to say or do anything about it and ended up turning away from it. This many people, all hyped up and willing to do what they pleased, honestly scared her. It was too much to keep track off as well, and she began retreating in her head. Perhaps she could solve some problems for school as they walked.
Elliot began helping with moving their makeshift camp by carrying whatever he could, going back and forth until just about everything was placed in the truck area. Though once he figured that the others could grab the rest he began examining the trucks. It would seem that codes would be needed, and if his father was right then he had one of them. It'd be useless without the other so this tidbit wasn't shared and wouldn't be until Marina returned with the needed medicine. He would have gone for it himself, much earlier too, but it felt like his chance to do just that had somehow been skipped over. Or was he too lost in his thoughts by that point to do so? Who knows. Anyway, they could probably start loading them now. But he was more interested in what else the tunnels had to offer, though his fear of dark places forbade him to go alone. Maybe once the scouts chose to focus back on it he would offer to come along... Until then, though, he really had things that needed answers. So he set off to find the girl who had come down here with Marina, smiling once he saw her. "G-good day. Evening? I have no idea with time anymore, haha. A-anyway... Can you tell me what's the surface like these days? Also...has it rain since the last bombing?" His sleep deprived eyes stared at her as he impatiently waited for a reply.
[/url] When Runner had asked her if changing her limbs hurt Alice shook her head in reply. Pain was hardly something the robotic girl had to worry about. His next question was not answered for she was unsure of how to reply. She had yet to see everyone else's abilities so in comparison her's could be lacking. Though, even if the other's were better saying yes could still apply for he said 'one off.' It might have even been one of those rhetorical questions that were meant to be left unanswered. So in the end she just fell silent while watching the rest of the demonstrations. But before they had finished a screen appeared and on it was steel with a mission for them. "Megas?" Another thing Alice would be left wondering its meaning, especially with the person who had said it already running off. Oh well, it hardly mattered. Time was of the essence as well, so rather than standing there in a dazed state the android followed after the other two. Her pace wasn't as fast as theirs, in fact she was only walking. There was no need to run right now, not while wishing for the others to keep up. Though she would pick up her pace soon enough. x x x
impressions favorite character out of everything did u take out the trash yet
She wondered how these other students were. From what she gathered least one of them was a mischievous sort and most didn't seem like the type to actually pay attention in class, so they were probably lacking in the academics area. This wasn't vanity, no such thing existed within her. Abi was simply trying to figure out what tied them together to be called. "I recognized some names and it seems that everyone who had a sibling...had their siblings invited as well." Her head perked up. She had siblings, older ones. Both were out of school though so it wasn't like that's why she was here. So her reason was unclear. She wanted to ask the professor once he was in sight, however one of the first things he said was to not ask just that. How unfair. "Excuse me, but why can't we ask about that?" She wanted to whine, but years of etiquette training were embedded into her to the point where it came without thought. Abi then noticed someone talking to her and turned with a smile. "Albina Kegan. I prefer Abi, though. And...yeah. Confusing though."
his mom and dad have such an...interesting relationship
At the sound of new voices and passing footsteps Yana hid alongside Kross. It was a reflex, really. Least when she thought watching before fighting was needed. It was strange, that there were humans here when they were forced to be mice. Would be so much easier to take on the two tall people if she was their size. Either way, there seemed to be the boy there were looking for so this was a good sign, that he was still alive. However something felt off. Her suspicions grew when their guide confirmed MeLeach to be the type who wouldn't let this boy just walk on out. They had to find out why, but more importantly make sure they wouldn't harm him now. Charging out there would be no good for that cause, so Yana held back, deciding to wait until they could talk to the boy alone. "I agree, it has to be some sort of play. We just have to save the boy though, right?"
[ Contact Information ► Mood: Stir Crazy ► Location: Tunnels ► OOC: N/A ] They finally left. Good. He hoped they found useful things, and food. Food would be wonderful. The moment they came down here the whole three meals a day deal was taken off the table. They were going to starve at this rate. No question about it, really. The only thing there was left to wonder was who would eat who first. He was physically weak, even more so now without any proper exercise. He stashed things to fight with, but still... The strongest would either kill the rest or be targeted first. If he were to go after any of them it would be- It was rather faint but he swore he heard his name being called. He had imagined people coming here before so it was ignored until the group returned with a few extra guests. He stared in disbelief before stuttering out a greeting for Marina. His opinion on her was shaky still, yet it was a bit relieving that she still lived. However that relief grew at the sight of her gift which brought upon a smile. "How wonderful," he stated, cleaning his hands and most of his face with the sanitizer, though decided to put off using the mask for a bit. It was amazing how he had not gotten sick from his time down here, especially when his immunity system never really had the chance to form past his childhood so it might have been best to let it do so while it still could. Though the moment they decided to return to the surface it would be used. Theodore's problems were more pressing at the moment though. And while Elliot knew enough, it was hardly his place to say anything about it. However, naturally, he explained how the vial of medicine looked and all the locations where it might be. "Any other medicine you can find should be grabbed too, naturally... I-if there's room, anyway. Anything of use, really." Her next question could not be answered by him for he had forgotten what happened to his old room mate. He wasn't here, was he? Haha, probably dead. Dead, right? He wasn't sure. And if he was ever sure he had forgotten.
Dealing with a lot of depression myself I understand where you're coming from but I must say you are never a nuisance or burden. I can't say much else without being a hypocrite, no matter how much I mean it, but I can say that I wish you the best of luck and that I hope things keep improving.
[ Contact Information ► Mood: Stir Crazy ► Location: Tunnels ► OOC: N/A ] When he had dressed on the first day of the bombings Elliot had pocketed a notebook and pen. Good thing, too, for it made for a useful method to keep track of thoughts. There were so many. Of the bombings, of how to summon, and of the events he had learned about since his learning of the reality of the email. Even if he hadn't made any major strides it was a good way to pass time. It also took his mind off of the lack of a mask and gloves and all the dirt. It was awful. No choice though. Ha... Phones are dead. Theodore was sick. Low on food. No way out. The whole world out to get them. Haha, it was all rather great, wasn't it? Sitting next to Theodore now Elliot was looking over his notes. The first page was some rabble about why they existed just for this game and something about if the game master existed than if that was what true existence meant. After that was a timeline of known events then important character traits for a winner. After that they stopped making sense to anyone but him, as he started becoming stir crazy. It was masked well, at least. In his opinion. In any case, once Harley's voice was heard the small notebook was stuffed in his pocket and he turned to reply. "I-I hope... Yes, he will. Has to." A search party was mentioned afterward but he was hardly interested going into dark, small places. Looking around would probably be beneficial though, so kudos to them.
